I know we've gone completely of topic (not like us lol?), but it's reassuring to know that we're in good company & feel it's ok to be open about these things. Thanks guys ?

?that's brilliant ? (Having seen the film a few times I can literally "hear" the characters laughing at the crap we discuss ?)
-
Intimidating lol, we're pussycats ?, try the arrse forum, they'd have Schwarzenegger crying into his milk ? & cookies ? . seriously though, this is literally the most helpful forum, but nobody wants to spoon feed a lazy noob who won't use the search button, especially when they ask about "buying a ukara license" ffs? Obviously the other thing that irritates us is scammers, who are always trying new tactics to get their foot in the door, thing is if we're ALL not on our guard, then they get their claws in to one or two new members, rinse them of a few hundred quid each & then disappear before word gets out, it's that simple. example: Ben7, joined Friday, by this evening he had 15 posts up, not one indicated he knew feck all about Airsoft, just posts showing his agreement on things or expressing pleasant sentiment. reported & now gone I believe, hopefully before he could do any harm........well done mods on acting on concerns raised, if this was Zin he'd go untouched for weeks, or longer, & woe betide anyone who tried to out him.

Yeah but at least you show some manners when spamming. Regards ?

Is it just me or does it seem like we've got loads of new members, most of whom seem content to tack nondescript comments on to lots of threads, but with no real value or knowledgeable input. Obviously the biggest concern is scammers trying to appear legitimate by getting their post counts up, do we need more screening or restrictions on new members ?

Post means nothing without a pic please, something for us to drool over ?, ideally if you could write your username & today's date on a piece of paper & include that in the pic, that would be great ? -

Lol, I thought San Marino was the arsehole of the world & you wouldn't piss in them if they were on fire ? -
Lol, yeah the cynical side of me assumed that from the off, they'd better put it away for a rainy day, reckon even if the event goes ahead, threads like this (which I'm sure there'll be more elsewhere) are gonna make people think twice, this event & stuff in the future.
-
Thing is, given that they've had mixed reviews at previous ai500's, not entirely sure why they would contemplate another event with the potential to be such a monumental screw up, the fallout will screw with their future client base massively. We can all see it, why can't they ?
-
Aaaaaah?, I'm a dopey cnut who really shouldn't look at my phone without my glasses on, obviously I'm getting mixed up with 6mm ammo, ignore me from now on lol?
-
Sorry to hear you've had a slightly poor service, thought I'd add my tuppence worth, I've also ordered from them twice, both times prices were very good (probably had a deal on?), & turnaround time was around a week at most. To be honest though, my orders would have been for bog standard .20's , were your orders for much heavier bb's ?, often in short supply ?
-
as it should be uk wide ?, well done to the Welsh (& Scots ?) for securing such a set up, although does make you wonder why England couldn't manage it.
-
Yep, don't think they pay to go to uni either ?, amongst other freebies ?

For TG to mention or contemplate suing indicates ups have not filled their contractual obligations, BUT there's no way a massive firm like ups won't have loopholes in the small print indemnifying the from "delays beyond their control", hence why TG will have to back pedal & continue using them. Sure they could have looked to another courier to take over their shipping needs, but that would have meant ups would expect all accounts to be settled, which could be a hell of a lot of money to find at short notice, given worldwide duties etc. -
Not played the site but prisons generally aren't known for space, more the lack of, so yeah 400 is probably optimistic, plus the ai500 has been run quite a few times, sometimes great & sometimes shit, this one has the potential to be a total clusterfuck. Shame as it's not far from me either .
-
I'd pay to see him in that ?
-
I don't think his issue is solely how much it is, it's the whole "why buy an expensive gun only to have to spend a shedload more it", to that end I'm in agreement, in much the same way I cringe when a new member posts up "just bought a new gun, not used it yet, what should I upgrade ?" FFS, get out & play with it, whether it's a £100 gun or costs £1k, it'll usually do exactly what it's supposed to within the boundaries of physics, no amount of money spent will surmount the laws of physics while staying within site FPS limits ?

Scam or brexit related "stealth tax" ?, I ask as the wife's had a couple & ive told her to ignore them as a likely scam ? -
I picked one up for sons gf, her first gun & so far no complaints, I've used it & other than being a bit fussy with mags, it does what it's supposed to. Prices s/h vary, seen em for as little as £50, £80-£100 with a couple of mags seems to be the going rate.

I've not done the maths, but I've got a sneaky suspicion I could buy it all new, & still have change, as this one clearly has seen quite a lot of use, with more than one owner ? https://www.taiwangun.com/assault-rifle-aeg/urban-assault-rifle-tan-aps
