  1. You can use 11.1v but it will likely break something very quickly. The internals must run super smooth and be made with components that can handle such power. The parts inside will wear faster and any problems will result in more severe failure.
  2. Just use the 'Report' option in any post and the shit will be wiped away.
  3. I've bought a few replicas from them. They are legit but test thoroughly when you receive it... I had to tinker with a few to get them to work properly. I haven't dealt with an actual return but google reviews seem to indicate it might be a bit of a mare.
  4. I didn't test in winter. TM is definitely the king for blowback winter use. Or the ASG/STTI non blowback MK23
  5. In theory yes, a lighter slide will potentially be more gas efficient but in practical terms its a bit more complicated as it also depends on the efficiency of the gas mechanism and nozzle / hop seal. Tokyo Marui's will always be the most efficient because of the plastic slides and quality of internals. My WE M9A1 V2 has a super smooth action so I really like it. I don't know how gas efficient it is compared to others but it will easily empty a couple of mags worth of BBs

  7. Welcome 🖐 Mesh lower face guard is recommended as its protective without adding to heat or goggle fogging. They're cheap too.
  8. Yeah the Specna Arms SA-C10 is reportedly 1.9kg Unfortunately there is a general lack of supply in the UK. I believe its due to the problems in China and is likely to get worse.
  9. AEPs (Auto Electric Pistols) might be OK for CQB but trigger response is slow which isn't good in that situation and aren't powerful enough for woodland games. The P90 could be a good contender if you like the style. The cheaper ones (CYMA/JG) seem to be hard to find now though.
  10. GBBs tend to be easily outgunned against AEGs with high capacity magazines. Cold weather can affect GBBs in case you intend to play over Winter. As Cannonfodder said, you'll need several magazines which are expensive and heavy. Some people do use GBBs successfully so just saying look into it...
  11. Lancer Tactical - LT-35 Battle X 9mm PDW AEG Gen.2 | Patrol Base UK 1.7kg (I can't comment on performance but should be useable for outdoor games) EDIT: Reviews seem to be positive. Search 'Lancer Tactical LT-35'
  12. No, storage charge is 40% to 50% of full and then left unplugged. You could unplug the charger before it gets to full charge but of course that's less accurate. Selecting 'Storage Charge' with an intelligent charger will actually reduce the voltage if necessary.
  13. Welcome 🖐 Lucky indeed. As Dan pointed out, any 7.4v LiPo is good. Look for the highest mAh that will fit in the battery space. (Usually around 1200mAh) Check here: LiPo Battery for RC Cars, Planes & Boats | Quality LiPo, Low Price | HobbyKing and here: 7.4v Airsoft Battery Packs (vapextech.co.uk) I think this is a good one: Airsoft 7.4V 2600mAh 25C LiPo Cranstock battery with case LP305 Vapextech The connector may need to be changed depending what the gun has. (Probably a clear one called mini-Tamiya) You'll also need a LiPo charger. Look in those shops and also try a search for 'Li-Po charger' Good luck
  14. Ya, duno anything about HPA for airsoft specifically but pressure connectors in general should never vent. As said above, check the valves are clean and free to actuate.
  15. I've ordered about 5 things (not airsoft related) from aliexpress with no problem (yet)
  16. 😬 I've had a new pistol arrive with the hop rubber not seated properly but nothing as bad as yours. Not good S&T
  17. This advert is COMPLETED!

Need to sell to fund other toys 😉 A few minor marks (they don't look as obvious in real life) Fully working with no leaks and shoots around 230fps with green gas. (Would be higher with red or black of course) Feels really good in the hand as it weighs a hefty 830g (Close to real which is 1kg) Great for plinking and practicing your quick-draw indoors. (cans or toilet roll tubes 😁) £120 including paypal & post

  18. Only bows and arrows allowed 🤣
  19. Be wary of Co2 powered pistols. Read up on pros and cons So do you have to be registered to buy a realistic (black) replica or just be over 18? Unfortunately I don't think it will be feasible to buy used from UK but there are many shops in Europe that have good prices. This was a good place when we were still in the EU. 21. Welcome 🖐 Sounds like you'll be a valuable member of a group. Don't worry about joining a team though. Most of us started alone and just formed groups naturally. As said above, to be UKARA registered, you need to play 3 games at the same site with a 2 month minimum but some sites don't pay attention to the minimum criteria. Just play your 3 games and then ask them to register you. (There will likely be charge around £10)
  22. Welcome 🖐 I doubt you'll be shooting me unless your pews have a range over 180 miles 😆 We can exchange thoughts instead. Enjoy the forum 👍
  23. Hi and welcome 🖐 It would be interesting to know the process allowing you to buy a replica over there. Those spring replicas would not be practical for a game and may be more valued by a collector but with more authentic replicas available now I doubt they're worth very much. Do you have a big garden to use? Are you allowed to shoot in the garden? How much are replicas there? Keep us updated...
