FMA Airframe is great for big heads. I run comms on mine no issues.

Piston or Piston head? If piston head then use the O-Ring from the old piston head on the new one.

AOE on mine needed alot of correcting hence why I recommended the silent piston head.

Nozzle is going to be difficult because AUG style nozzles are different sizes and not easy to get. I'd stick with the current one and load it up with silicon oil. The stock Cyma ones really are not that bad despite how cheap it looks.

I'd change the piston head too, keep everything to do with air seal the same brand.

Obviously get some silicon oil to apply to the piston head and cylinder head whilst fitting.

    You're over thinking it.

Don't worry about the volume calculator, the cylinder types/volume matching for AEGs are well known. The calculator is more for oddball setups and sniper rifles, just get a full non windowed cylinder.

The teeth on your gears and motors are all standard as it's a standard AEG so don't worry about counting them. If you do replace the piston I recommend going with a 14 1/2 tooth or a 14 tooth piston instead of a 15 tooth for better AOE.

High speed motors also create alot of heat. Almost no one goes for high speed motors anymore because of the downsides, they only exist because high speed gears didn't exist a decade or so ago. And it was the easiest way to gain lots of RPS.

We now have high speed gears and high torque motors readily available which when combined give better performance, better efficiency and lower heat.

If your aim is the lowly RPS you mentioned and you want to keep the stock gears just get a 16tpa neo motor. Which gives a reasonable bump in trigger response and RPS without having to replace the gear ratio.

A tech went with an insane short stroke. But only because decent 13:1 gearsets were non existent at the time.

I would never short stroke again because the 420mm barrel length is already at the maximum for the air volume of a full type cylinder.

You need to replace the Cylinder to a full type as you are already losing alot of volume with the port. The less volume, the more unstable heavier bb's will be.

I just used a basic mosfet to protect the trigger contacts.

    As for a motor/gear combo.

Best would be 22TPA Neo motor and 13:1 gear ratio.
Good would be 16TPA Neo Motor and 16:1 gear ratio. (Just as fast as the above option, but would drain battery quicker).

Already did that. I verify all my games by playing them and doing a data integrity test. If the buyer claims it's broken and not working, I have to accept the return.

Either way here is the outcome.

I managed to get a call-back from Ebay and explain my case, the representative was lovely to speak to, said that she hadn't come across a case like this where I had at least some sort of proof. (Maybe she was new!)

She sent me a Affidavit form to sign and send back. 2 hours later Ebay refunded the buyer, but also refunded ME with no hit to my seller rating (Minus the return postage though).

So Ebay took the majority of the hit on this. So I am quite happy with the outcome, but I do wish they stuck it to the buyer as refunding him is essentially rewarding a scammer.

Bittersweet, but a better outcome then most people said I would get. Thank you for all of your advice, it helped me out a fair bit. I can probably sell just the case, slip and manual for a little bit of money to cover the returned postage fee and come out with a bit more profit.

Been selling off my old PS3 collection to reduce my credit card debt. PS3 games have gone up quite a bit for rare ones.

Sold a copy of World of Outlaws, Aussie only game, it was in mint condition. Fairly expensive (50 quid). Buyer asked for a return saying it didn't work. Which is odd, because not only do I test the games I sell, I also run data integrity checks on EVERYTHING.

Returned game and confirmed that the disk was screwed with some kind of dull patch on the bottom. Checked the top label and saw that there was more white(It's a sort of grainy white that happens with modern label production, click on the photos to zoom in) on the black label of the disk (Just below/above the small writing) I sent out then on the disk I received back. It's a real subtle difference, easily missed but seems pretty clear it's a switcharoo.

    Original I sent out

    Disk I received back.

Playing dumb at the moment as I realise how much Ebay sides with the buyers. Have emailed the buyer

"Hello. It looks like you have sent the wrong disk, there is a printing difference between the one in my advert (1st attached photo, See the extra white in the black part of the CD Label) and the one you sent me back which has very little white in comparison (2nd photo). I understand mistakes can happen, please return the original disk to me and I can process your refund. Kind regards."
I haven't sent a refund yet, though the buyer can petition ebay and they will send one automatically.

What are my chances for an acceptable resolution boys?

Spring TM's are much lower then that. Honestly there is no such thing that I am aware of due to the lack of air volume. It would be too difficult to cock.

This has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now, but I was sunning myself on an African island and couldn't be arsed to mention it!

Invicta Airsoft have taken over an old ICI works in Kent. Boasts 3 main corridors, 120+ doors, 70+ rooms, 2 spiral staircases and 4 floors. Sounds like it might be a nightmare to manage, but it looks lovely and dark!

Myself and 10+ others are signed up for the first public game on Wednesday the 22nd (Covid permitting). I'll be sure to dust off the old SE Tour Reviews for another outing.
