  1. That stuff looks good. Let me know how you get on with that trigger. I can't find any aftermarket triggers that are long enough and the stock one is a terrible shape. Also interested in how you're getting the battery and wiring into the stock?
  2. Oh yeah don't get me wrong if I was in the US I'd rather take the pistol brace rather than the ridiculous tax stamp and wait time that comes with a registered SBR. They look like shit though so I don't get why someone would choose that look when they don't have to. To each their own I guess.
  3. CuM aNd TaKe It
  4. Careful with that. If the ukara police catch you impersonating an officer they'll arrest you and impound your rifs
  5. Umm actually paying that $200 makes my gun objectively better than yours and makes me more oper8or and tacticool. A pleb like you just wouldn't understand.
  6. Again not a dreamer but what is going on with all of the cheap WA 1911s at the moment? At least this guy knows the value of what has got https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/13335-western-arms-1911/
  7. My partner tries to be interested bless her but I can see her eyes start to glaze over after a minute or so.
  8. "Hence the bargain price" ??? Even with all the upgrades I wouldn't pay that much even if he hadn't broken the lower receiver
  9. I bet I could print one of those from polycarbonate it'd be almost as strong as the aluminium one
  10. I figured the breast way would just be a bit of work to the stock parts but I've got no experience with trigger components and the first time I try something I generally screw it up.
  11. Except he didn't build it. He payed a tech with a bad reputation to do it for him. If it's been used so little and is being sold at such a loss I can only assume it's fucked and whatever work has been done to the gearbox is going to need to be undone alone with a few replacement parts, most likely the piston. The mags and batteries included also tell me this was built for skirmishing.
  12. Are there any drop in trigger units that improve the trigger press and aren't shit? I know about the G&P one but pretty much every time I see them mentioned on here it's someone complaining about issues with it. the two main things putting me off getting an MWS (besides being poor)are the trigger press and not being able to find any info on whether or not it will work with a folding stock adapter.
  13. So it's boneyard. Doesn't matter what's in it if you're selling a gun that is missing vital parts that's a boneyard gun.
  14. The upper is a 416 and the lower is a generic M4, all internals have been replaced with moderate upgrades and it hasn't been to a game since being "upgraded". £50 says that thing doesn't even shoot. *Edit* Wait he payed extra for the downgrade according to the invoice but on the list of parts there's an M120 spring.
  15. You don't need any more reason than that
  16. Don't. I've already got one fully 3d printed gun in the works and that's being a bigger ball ache than expected. This was just to check the proportions.
  17. It's so nearly there...
  18. Just went back and checked. On an 11.1vyou can use a 22tpa motor and 18:1 gears for a safe rof. He had to replace the gears for SHS 18:1s though as the stock gears were crap.
  19. Not if you use the higher ratio gears. A high torque motor and 13:1 gears running off a 7.4v lipo is good for around 25rps
  20. A high speed motor turns faster, a high torque motor turns slower but has more turning power so you need gears to match. The stock gears are either 18:1 or 16:1, which would be high speed or balanced gears. For a high torque motor you want to pair it with 13:1 gears for a snappy trigger response otherwise it'll feel laggy.
  21. If you're going to get the high torque it'd also be worth switching to lower ratio gears.
  22. That doesn't surprise me, the honey Badger motor is shit. Pretty sure my dad used a 22tpa SHS motor to upgrade my mates gun.
  23. I wasn't convinced by the WAS Universal Holster until I got one for my USP-C. Honestly it's one of the best options out there. With little or no adjustment it'll fit most pistols and it feels completely secure. I also haven't had any issues with scarves from it, though you'll still probably get wear on a metal pistol.
  24. Thanks. How easy is it to swap out the inserts? I was going to have multiple sets of inserts with a single rig for my 9mm and .308 guns
  25. I've never liked T1s. The main thing is I'm wanting to keep it more like a classic British armed police/SAS setup, hence the specific options.
