I've been inspiring myself to pick up an old project. It still needs a lot of work. The forend needs redesigning and the replacement M-LOK rails need printing. Then it's into designing a new DMR stock. It's also getting a fluted outer barrel extension, 2 port muzzle brake, new scope mount, ergo grip and SR-25 P-mags. Then it's onto internals. High torque motor, 13:1 gears, gate titan, flat trigger, all new airseal components, MAXX hop up and stainless steel inner barrel

Yeah those are all high caps. I'm actually selling them as I'm taking @Kls77's advice and using those SR-25 midcaps

There isn't space to have a scope attached to the rail so you'd have to take it off to put it away. Here's a picture just to show how it fits. Aside from that there's plenty of room for a couple of mags and somewhere for the optic to sit. Would converting the selector to a non-ambi configuration improve the reliability of it? Mine's already so bad that I have to grab each side with a finger just to put it on safe

The missus should be happy about this. That's one less gun case needed. On that note I now have a VFC SCAR hard case going if anyone wants it

It's only a couple hundred grams and it's right over your hand so it's hardly noticeable

Finally got the folding stock adapter fitted to my AEG. It's not completely done as I need a receiver end plate but it works as a proof of concept. It's actually really practical as it means I don't need to take the stock off to change the battery or have a stupidly long screwdriver to take the buffer tube off

My dad got the same treatment when he imported a couple of AEG receivers, outer barrels and gearboxes
