  1. Yep good practice this for sure.
  2. hmm, Is that updated policy since Brexit then? I used them once a number of years ago.. but that was then and now is now. I suppose it goes without saying it may be worth contacting any EU shops and clarifying their up to date shipping policies before placing orders.
  3. Yeah I'm looking forward to check out the 2003 CW too, I've never seen it and was always put off a little by the animation style - apparently it's not considered canon at the moment. Mandalorian season 2 was terrific, I enjoyed the first season too, but the second was just freakin on a next level - I had literally been waiting for episode 6 of the second season my entire life ?
  4. Yeah, just been googling and YTing it, and while it looks pretty neat in GTs pics, somehow it doesn't look all that special out the box - honestly if you wanna go something in the same vein I'd just go MP5.
  5. Oh yeah, I was so focused on the up close details in the second pic I must have glossed over all that info.. I have to say I'm not typically interested in anything that is not specifically modeled off of something real-steel. However that looks very cool !
  6. What is the base gun here? Looks like an MP5/MPX/AR mashup?
  7. Yeah the Mando is based 5 years after ROJ if i'm not mistaken. As @Druid799 says though it was defo a different Krayt dragon... the one Mando slayed was probably over 10 times the size of that one out in the sand dunes in new hope. Hah! whata ya know! I suppose ultimately we have one of our dinosaurs missing to thank for last night's episode then I remember channel flipping one weekend when I was a youngster back in the 90s, and coming across 'one of our dinosaurs is missing' - expecting something closer to Jurassic Park, I remember being pretty disappointed ?
  8. Didn't know whether to start a new thread or not - but this one seems fitting enough to start off the discussion on Mando Season 2. Just finished watching episode 1 - I thought it was pretty awesome! I've literally wondered all my life about what that giant dinosaur skeleton on the sand dunes in a new hope could be - life long question answered! Excited about the reveal at the end of the episode too!
  9. I've not upgraded since 2016 I believe - I still run a pre-overclocked Gigabyte windforce 980Ti with an i7 6700k - 16gb of ddr4 and a Samsung nvme m.2. While my current monitor is a 27" 144hz 1080p Iiyama; I would like to make a little return to gaming after around a years hiatus, maybe with a 1440p monitor and possibly one of these new 30 series RTX cards everyone is talking about - apparently the performance with the current Battlefield games at 1440p with the 3080 is pretty damn good.. even quite playable at 4k. Because I skipped two core generations of GPUs (the 1080/ti and then the RTX 20 series), I imagine the jump in performance between the 980Ti and 3080 would be significant. Would love to go back and play BF4 at 1440p maxed out with a constant fps at a minimum of 144, tearing free - though maybe that's still wishful thinking?. Even so, with Gsync and Freesync I don't think the constant fps above the 144hz mark is actually necessary. Funnily enough my brother is helping my 11 year old nephew build his first PC, I offered to donate some pieces I have lying around, in the form of my old GTX590 which was a beast of a card when it came out; it was 2 GPU chips on one card, effectively making it an onboard SLI solution for two GTX580s. But After doing a bit of research it turns out, this top of the line card which I bought for 6 or 7 hundred quid back in 2010/2011 wont be able to compete with a mid/bottom of the line 1660 contemporary card in the game 'fortnight' which is what he wants it for. Also, apparently SLI has gone the way of the dodo, so If you did want to run this card on a modern game, it would not be as a 590 but a single 580 GPU. To top it off, Nvidia stopped supporting it in 2018 for driver updates so it may only be a matter of time until the card doesn't even switch on in a modern windows 10 machine - feels kinda sad really.
  10. Added to EU and UK lists. @Wizeguy @Tommikka
  11. Finished Rebuilding the MP5 with a QD shell - will finally be testing and rating the huge box of spare springs this weekend.

      I mean it's a necessary "investment" right ?

  12. It seems the online shop component of their business is https://www.mpa-airsoft.co.uk/ so i'll add that to the UK list ?
  13. As @AlphaBear and @Musica said, the Mandolorian was pretty awesome - great blend of nostalgia and something new in the SW universe. My core complaint is the episode runtime in the first season being rather short, resulting in a few episodes feeling a bit rushed - I'm hoping following the success of the first season they will assign a budget and production capacity that would allow season 2 episodes to be a bit longer, fleshed out and therefore have the ability to more effectively character build. Rumor has has it we may see certain clone wars characters who have never been seen in live action before appear in the second season - cant wait to see if this is the case, apparently Temuera Morrison has been cast, potentially to play more than one character. ?
  14. I thought you were pulling my leg to begin with - looked like a clothes and fashion shop from the front page. But if you search 'Airsoft' they have quite a few things. Though i sort of get the impression that this is probably a market place site like Aliexpress.. not a direct shop-front itself?
  15. I like your big lego Boba Fett dude
  16. The company I've been interviewing with for the past month or so offered me the job today - I replied with a counter offer and they accepted.
Possibly my second thought on the matter was.. 'I may well now be able to afford an LCT G3A3'...  at least without wincing that is.

Hey congrats! Not enough people negotiate wages and such these days, but sounds like you nailed every part of the application process. Buy that G3 with your hard earned victory money! :P

  17. No you were right, they are definitely Italy based, but their amazon store seems to get a lot of US customers.. funny thing is a number of the poor reviews seem to be to do with purchases on boots - wrong sizes being sent, high return charges, that kinda thing. Either way, shouldn't be as much of an issue for us - have added them on ? https://www.amazon.com/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=&seller=A14JNY308Z0IC7&tab=&vasStoreID=
  18. Okay, will add them on, reviews seem a bit mixed tbh.. seems like they are pretty bad with returns (mind, a lot of those cases seem to be US based amazon customers)
  19. Indeed they do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt6u1ewmHYg&t=46s
  20. So interestingly enough this one by EAIMING (good job on the name of your company) appears to have a 4 cell batt - so likely 4.8v out the gate. Mind, I've not looked at any reviews for it yet. https://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/p30345/EAIMING-1200rds-Electric-Magazine-for-G36-AEG/product_info.html
  21. Agreed, jumping from 3.6v to almost double might be too much. NimH cells are 1.2v meaning you are running on 3 cells, you could probably find something with 4 cells (4.8v) which is size compatible from either ebay or one of the various battery shops. Another option would be to purchase a single 1.2v cell with tabs and solder it into your existing battery if you are setup for that kind of thing.
  22. Perhaps a TM high cap is the way to go, the only one i've owned was pretty good, but it wasn't for the G36... Regarding the feeding speed of the electric drum mag, what kind of battery does it use, and might it be possible to feed it with something at a slightly higher voltage. That might pick the feed speed up a bit for you while also applying slightly more pressure on the BB stream allowing the BBs to get into the hop unit more reliably.
  23. There are also these things: https://www.bespokeairsoft.co.uk/g36-electric-dual-magazine-1000-rounds I've thought about picking one up for messing around with for years, but just never really got round to it - also the fact that my G36 has never worked that reliably; once I remedy this I may well get one. At the moment I just have a box of 140rd Star midcaps, but as you say G36 mags are so big and clunky; the dual mag 1000 rounder might be a nice solution with that in mind. I'm not certain but i think i've heard that they can have some reliability issues, so if that is something you might go for, definitely read up beforehand. I believe there are a handful of manufacturers who make/made them.. battleaxe being one of them.
  24. Yeah they have a decent rep - already up there in the EU list actually ?
  25. Looks like this eBayer is having a significant clear out... not gonna be shifting much at those prices, one or two items seem reasonable (only just), but he's having a laugh for the most part. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/blondie233 Very little detail on the items, almost no mention of makes on the bits that really need it - cannot imagine he'll shift even 10-20% of that lot. A couple items have best offer but you just know this guy is gonna be banging off his counter offers at 50 pence under 'buy it now' His Bulldog molle rig is only 5-10 quid more brand new (minus the sweat, dirt and use) Got loads of stock looking unbranded inner barrels, GBB and AEG for 16 quid a pop He's trying to shift stock un-branded motors for 23-25 quid. (To give an idea of what people pay for motors on eBay.. I watched a Rocket short 16TPA go on auction for £11 + 2.50 postage this afternoon - now kinda wishing snatched it up for my g36 overhaul)
