  1. Is there a firmware role back feature?
  2. @AlphaBear Ah, sorry I missed that you were after semi lock. The thing is a basic mosfet by definition wont offer that kind of feature, it offers electrical protection, efficiency, rof etc.. you would need something that is programmable for semi lock which is by definition not just a basic mosfet, but yes as @Adolf Hamster says... you could mechanically do it.. easiest way is apoxy a little metal nub in the correct place under the external selector.
  3. @AlphaBear Yeah, If you are short on space and want something totally basic and pre soldered to a switch assembly you can try something like the kingarms: https://airsoft.tiger111hk.com/p35297/King-Arms-Cords-and-Switches-Set-with-Mosfet-for-Ver-2-Gearbox/product_info.html I have this KA in my MP5K, it's tiny and tucks away in a little bit of space between the gb and lower rec. Or you could try https://www.jefftron.net/mosfet/mosfet-v2-with-wiring - the mosfet components are inside the switch block area, so you don't actually need to find a place for it to go along the harness.
  4. I still have one - currently not installed, it only works on semi - the auto/burst is broken and unresetable. My plan was to put it in my SPR when i DMR it eventually as auto/burst wont be a factor. Will check out the Perun though, it would certainly be cheaper to set that up than pay 100 quid for something else - though if i keep it in the SPR I may just use as is. ________ Edit* looks like it brings pre-cock to the ETU so possibly worth while for the SPR DMR build 👍
  5. Looks impressive, I may get round to putting one in my mod 0's Lonex gb one day.. the app looks really easy to use too and has pretty much every feature you could want. I swore off these kind of switch computer units after two failed G&G ETUs, but this peaks my interest tbh.
  6. That G3 is a thing of beauty mate, it might be one of a few things in life I would hurt someone for.. Btw have you used the Leviathan? How's it stack up to the Titan and other switch unit models.. Jefftron are my go to for stand alone harness mosfets these days, price to performance and reliability, cant be beaten from my exp... yet to have one die on me. Quite honestly they make me question why i'm building my own.
  7. I would probably try and reinforce parts of the gearbox with a strong apoxy resin.. mind their doesn't seem to be all that much tolerance/space upfront where cracks are more likely to occur, (at least from the above photo) however even a thin layer in certain key locations could help.
  8. hmm, well the issue I encountered on both my G36 was that the hop would get clogged, a bb would jam in the lips and would not shift untill i put a cleaning rod down or took it apart. The K was resolved with a new tappet spring - it was an old second hand JG gearbox I was using and the spring had weakened. The same thing developed with the C, I bought the gun second hand on the forums, that one had the same issue, but a new tappet spring did not resolve the issue... it's still currently not working and will be the next gun on my to do list. Sorry, been straying off topic! 😅 Just bought.... Long MP5/G3 rail mount so I can mount a reflex sight a little further up front on the MP5K! And also a rubber M9 bayonet and sheath - intend to use this next time at Grange in Brum city centre! Green 50. maple leaf for 1911 meu too.
  9. Is it the issue where bbs get jammed in the bucking lips? Had this on both my C and K
  10. eugh... feels bad man, like you are lighting a fiver on fire every time it happens. A tip is never to make the decision to grind or sand stuff past midnight or when you're tired... stop what you're doing.... go to bed, see if it still looks like a good idea in the morning. 😁
  11. Yeah that's one of the rarer toys the troop transport... I reckon for sure that would have been put in by one of the guys in the mando production unit who had the toy as a kid. Looks like they are gonna re-release it too: https://forbiddenplanet.com/297404-star-wars-the-mandalorian-imperial-troop-transport/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9ZzzBRCKARIsANwXaeKciQSp1GFRwVETMLrcqfb-_0OyvHdTtj9w0oosHlqtZb7DScM1d38aAgsNEALw_wcB The ones in the pic are the SW micro machine action fleet, they were produced from the mid to late 90s for the re-releases, and then started up production again for the prequels in the early 2000s. The one that got away so to speak was Slave I, might have to see if I can pick it up on eBay one of these days. The old B-wing was massive yeah, probably 60cm long. As a kid I would reenact the hoth battle using the OG ATAT and the action fleet snow speeder, they were just the right scale for each other.
  12. Eugh, that is freakin tragic mate, your 80s young self has my condolences... So my brother an I are thinking about restoring the old B-wing at the moment, it's missing both wings and the cockpit canopy. Funnily enough there are quite a few shops on eBay pretty much dedicated to selling the old sw toy parts. But my brother actually works in rapid prototyping (3d printing) so he'd like to maybe go that route! I brought all the micro machine action fleet stuff down last month for my nephew to check out, I think they are actually my favorite sw toys, even more so than all the old og stuff: The proportions on these were pretty much perfect... except the B-wing, pretty sure the cockpit is slightly too big.
  13. That aint bad at all, about 4 quid per month on the first year, gonna check it out... if a lot of the content is in 4k then I may get it.
  14. you get all the SW and Marvel content with that right - how much is it?
  15. To echo everyone above, no one will care... you see a few two tones at most games and no one bats an eyelid. Having said that my brother did ask me the same thing on his first outing (with his own TT gun) - I bought him these.... super cheap, self adhesive, no residue, he rocked the same piece until he got his club membership. > clicky
  16. Roger Dodger! will add it on mate.
  17. I reckon it sounds like it may be worth while visiting June -July when it's dried out a bit - I like the idea of a quarry and some nice natural elevation, and the lakes and ponds look kinda cool from the birds eye shot. @AsomodaiMaybe let them know what you thought about the morning games on their FB page, if they are a serious business they'll take some constructive feedback on board - so long as you're diplomatic 😉
  18. Yeah that should be fine, it has an internal o-ring too which should take care of that leakage - just check that with the o-ring installed the nozzle is still able to freely slide up and down the cylinder head without too much friction. In the event that you do run into that complication:
  19. You didn't mention in your OP if you did actually test the compression with your new O-rings, both with and without the air seal nozzle? Some times your setup will just call for a different O-ring size - definitely test this before installing the new nozzle. Taking some material off the front face of the tappet plate can also help create a better seal onto the BB by allowing the nozzle to seat slightly further forward in the hop chamber at the point of shot cycle completion. Arguably this could potentially compromise the durability of the tappet plate, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
  20. And bind the rubber to the barrel with some plumbers/ptfe tape a bit like this: Helps with air loss and consistency. example is a VSR barrel but the same principal applies.
  21. Would it be at all possible to get a mod to change my display name? Not sure why I have this one.. haven't really used it since I was about 14 years old and i'm not even that into Jango Fett anymore!!! 😏

I have a certain fondness for the prequel trilogy as they were the ones from my formative years (still think people shit on Phantom Menace way too much). However a lot of the dialogue is pretty lame. Alec Guinness said in an interview that Lucas gave him a percentage of the gross profits to go back and help him improve the script of A New Hope. Shame he didn't do the same for these films!

Yeah I certainly, even today think the prequels are just fine.. i'm mean flawed fine... but still fine, and significantly enhanced by the clone wars content imo.

Jedi and Empire are still my favs though. The new trilogy.. atrocious, heinous crime against star wars.

Yes, I was discussing that with my brother the other day; we were wondering if Alec Guinness' family were still getting star wars royalties off his deal.

  22. Will add them to Asia/UK lists - will defo give airsoftpeak a look, free shipping worldwide is always great; nothing worse than filling your basket up thinking you've got a bargain and then get hit by a massive shipping fee!! 😖
  23. There can be any number of issues but lets try and exclude a couple... - Have you tested for compression / air seal on the cylinder set? - The air seal nozzles with o-rings can some times be a bit too tight on the cylinder head, resulting in the nozzle firing forward in the hop unit too slow. This can cause low fps. Have a look and see how tight the nozzle is on there by testing how easily the nozzle can be pulled up and down the cylinder head - if its fairly stiff, then this could be your problem. Maybe swap out and test with a standard type. You say you tried some others.. maybe try the og one. - equally an old weak tappet spring can cause a similar problem, and in combo with a tight air nozzle could be even worse. - is there a slight bend or misalignment of the nozzle perhaps causing it to rub against the inside of the hop unit? - is the nozzle sitting reliably and firmly inside the tappet plate groove? - Is the fps equally low with the hop fully turned off? - test - A hard grade hop rubber can sometimes really hold quite a grip on the BB in the feed lips and the nub itself causing issues - maybe swap your rubber out for a decent soft 50/60 degree sleeve - prommy purple are usually pretty good. - A bad barrel, hop unit, hop rubber combo match up can cause pretty bad air loss - try swapping them out one by one but before that maybe try the same setup with some plumbers tape round the base of the hop rubber sealing it onto the barrel, that's given me massive boosts on certain builds.
  24. As far as i'm aware, G&G AKs are generally compatible with 'TM' type AK mags. I have the G&G GKM - works perfectly with all my G&P and CYMA mid caps. The one you are after is a 74 so I cant speak specifically to the 5.45 style mags, though I would be pretty surprised if you had issues sourcing compatible options.
