The 'What have you just bought' Thread

That ACR stock looks terrible. You should sell it to me immediately :) -
KS-1 is 98% done. and the only thing better than a 1911 is obviously a 2011. Staccato P with orange RMR.

agree, only appeal would be getting a tan version without all the hassle of paint etc. Feel free to add to this topic. I might have missed something I really need (unlike the HPA engine as only divers should be wearing tanks )

the fact that some of them have flash burns from being underneath a pistol barrel would suggest these are legit. -
100 quid seem fair. it's defo a TM XM177E2 AEG. I've got one here somewhere and the tabs cracking is usually because they are a pain in the arse to free from the lower receiver when disassembling.

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)
mightyjebus replied to sp00n's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
No but I could easily print you one for a fair price -
Tokyo Marui M4A1 - snapped plastic hinge - options?
mightyjebus replied to APV's topic in Electric Guns
the tabs snapping was quite a common problem with these old TM rifles. If you still have the broken tabs then you could cut metal tabs from a coke can and epoxy it on again using the coke can tabs as reinforcement. The easier option would be a replacement metal upper and lower receiver however you will need a hop unit as well as the old TM M4's had a 2 piece hop unit that only fit the TM plastic receivers. Back in the early days of Airsoft Guarder, Hurricane and Systema made some very good replacement receivers. -

I was asked to make a Saiga 12 SBS MLOK style handguard but longer than the original. After a bit of design and test printing, I made this. -
Sadly it's going to be a 1 of 1 simply because finding all the parts is becoming a pain and extra expensive as everything needs to be shipped from Asia.
-
yeah, the fake bolt release and the dimpled barrel are 3D printed. I need to finish modelling the fire selectors which will be 3D printed until my CNC machine turns up and then I'm planning on making them out of Aluminum.

Picked up a VFC MCX for a good price today. As it's VFC it will need a bit of work but happy that I now have one of these.

a CYMA SR-15

Not 100% finished yet as I'm waiting for a couple of parts but thought I'd share the progress so far of my KS-1. how it started.

Strangely Glock still make them, even with the old Xenon bulb in it. -

picked up a Glock light for my Gen 5. for anyone interested www.g-ten.co.uk have them on sale for £50 and that includes 2 CR123 batteries (well mine did). I believe these are X-police issue. -
I've never been a big fan of CYMA. Always found them a bit meh. I picked this up recently and it's actually a bit good. It's a CYMA Noveske Infidel for those that are interested. Comes with a eshooter mosfet as standard. I even like the midcap as it holds 190. Only thing done to it was swap out the stock for a Magpul slim profile one and replace the hop rubber with the 4Uantum friction Pro as I'm finding them very good.

I think A&K have also done at least one version. It's an interesting RS gun. Gas piston operated instead of direct gas impingement, sort of a HK416 before HK416 was a thing.

That G&G one looks good. The original original was made by Prime a long time ago. I'll see if I can find some pictures of mine. *edit* found the pictures of my 2 Primes.
