    On the clothing front, bought a pair of Helikon Greyman trousers, see how they look for smarter for work instead of the combats 😂. Only issue is sizing is not the same as the usual SFU trousers and they have a Velcro waist fastener

    ive got a set of the Revision ones as well as the ESS ones, Rev are a lower profile but both tbh work the same. Everybody is different and what will work for me may not for you and vice versa. I use the fans on low most of the time and wipe with fog dx wipes, it helps but there is still some build up from time to time, also used abbey spray but not as effective, others have better experiences with it. Also a pair of each with foam removed....cheap off the forum and credit card at 0% From memory, the Smiths ones i thought werent made any more as i looked to get a set when prices were more reasonable, now they are almost 25%+ more and they couldnt be ordered in be careful of the FMA type ones, cheaper but lenes are not as good, there are videos on youtube....this was a few years back and they may be thicker now im lazy though and done have the time or skill to make my own...if someone did....😉

    similar to this, i use an old 80's but bought in 2016 Nike sweatband, revision wipes or fogtech wipes as well as wear fan googles, both ESS and Revision, Revs have a thermal lens....i still suffer occasional moist goggles!....also no foam Not sure there is a correct answer, everybody is different, what works for you may not for others etc., its really trial and error and yes is frustrating!

    Anyone see on the news (BBC in this case). The part where they showed a market stall selling ‘military’ items in Afghanistan, most shopping were Taliban fighters, hoping for Real Steel American parts, sadly they were Chinese clones…. Most I guess  similar to what we use at the weekends 😂😂😂😂

    As mentioned above it’s so easy!! get the license, it’s nothing over 5 years download Chirp off internet, it’s free anyway, follow YouTube if needed to use, aloe is copy/paste and takes send one to programme radios Buy the programme cable as well, I think some radios may come with one it just depends on the seller? Done i have 2 radios and set up a friends, only a few things you need to do but it’s all on YouTube I also blame @Lozart…!!!!!

    cheers, i hear they work ok in the new ICS one, some need a little mod. Cant yet get them from Europe doe to the places not shipping to UK yet forgot to add....i like paypal pay in 3 .... managed to restrict myself! arriving now Tuesday

    curious, looking to finally get the TM Mk23 ,wonder if there was ever a decent aftermarket LAM unit produced as i assume the original is not that good?!!?

      Not that I know of.  I purchased a rail from Fire Support that fits a small tac light under the barrel. Much better lumen than the LAM and fits into the Viper adjustable holster easier. I use a DTD holster as it is much better and secures the Mk23.

    Lego bricks.....a great way to make a battery size (give or take a few mm) so you know what will fit in the ICS torch grip...! :lol:

    Have been looking at the sub £1000 versions of Night vision optics as not for airsoft...!, curious to know how good they are made by yukon and pulsar etc. Most places are OOS so not to worried as can wait for re-stock etc. are they ok if out in a dark place walking the dog might consider for a night game but yet to be allowed out!!

    My ICS CES ‘MP5’ arrived today, day early👍.... snuck it in the house, swapped it for the G33 that’s currently within easy access if I shoot the targets in the shed....no one will ever know.... son might as this one has no laser attached and at 12 he knows some of the ‘gun brands’ already 🤦‍♂️😂 Fitted the torch grip I bought for it last year, looks nice 😂😂 Just need to find some smaller batteries now...

    I tried two j ordered via chine and ebay, one the spring had fallen off and the other seemed to warm the batteries up! if you have any recommendations I’ll try them. I will look on there again, this was about this time last year

    anyone know of any other torches with similar if not identical end caps to the old Surefire 6P?

     

    looking for one for my MP5 handguard (still need the MP5 :lol:!!) to use as my 6P is not LED so looks dull!

     

    The ICS handguard, the old 6P screws in, i tried a G2X and it didn't like the thread......

      The closest I found (that was decent quality) was the Solarforce L2 with a T6 LED drop-in. Sadly, these are now hard to find, my two will never leave my ownership.

       

      Can you not just get an LED drop-in for the old 6P?
