  1. Ignore original post just read the one above.
  2. Had a few Pm me to show interest but no one has committed to it yet. I am trying to avoid inviting the people I know to get the numbers up because they know the venue too well. So come on people get your names down.
  3. I honestly think some people forgo a face mask because they think it makes them look tough and more tacticool, these people are idiots.
  4. Really wish I had filmed it, it was funny and a fitting end to a G&G.
  5. Because 9.6v is a nimh battery which doesn't deliver the power as efficiently maximum of about 12c I think. You get slighty better results out of a 7.4v 25c+ lipo battery than you do out of a 9.6v nimh. The lipo is smaller, more power efficient, holds charge better and will last longer. Nimh batterys can work fine in a really well set up gun (I use them with one of my gun set ups) but rof and response in a standard gun will be better with lipo as its discharge rate is higher and that makes it more instant on the power. There is a lot more to this explanation, Google lipo vs nimh and have a read as I hate typing out long posts.
  6. 7.4v 25c lipo. Which type depends on your gun as there are lots of shapes and sizes. Stick to Turnigy, Vapex or Kong power brands and you will be ok.
  7. Yeah try one of these rof goes through the roof, takes a bit of jerry rigging though.http://www.tomsgardenequipment.co.uk/category/Accessories/product/Greenworks_24V_2AH_Lithiumion_Battery/
  8. There are lots but just upgrade as things break.
  9. The most important thing that can enhance performance is the player themselves.
  10. You read the same myth that has been quoted for years and its not correct in my opinion and I have tried pretty much every decent barrel and bucking and nub combo on the market. Tightbores can help with range but do nothing for accuracy. Best barrel you can get is actually 6.23 orga but thats not really an option as it takes a fair amount of effort to get it working on an AEG properly. PDI 6.08 best for most set ups PDI 6.05 will give slighty better results but needs lapping which is a crap job.Maple leaf bucking you mean? Its ok but best standard bucking and nub combo in my opinion is what I said earlier.
  11. There are a couple of things that could be causing that but I haven't the experience with the l85 to push you in the right direction. If your not tech minded send it to a tech. If you really want to do it yourself then watch lots of vids on youtube and read up on forums for advice on disassembly and reassembly of then l85 then have at it. Any advice you get on here is guess work as nobody has it in front of them. Best of luck.
  12. To get 350fps you need a spring between a m100 and m110 which will depend on how good everything else is in your aeg. Accuracy, range and groupings is all about barrel, hop and ammo. Firefly bucking, prommy blue flat nub and a PDI 6.08 barrel is probably the easiest good set up. Use 0.28g bbs and it should be good if set up right.
  13. They are ok its just you can get better for less money. The most common high torque motor that people use when upgrading is a lonex a2. Power efficient, doesnt heat up much and will pull any airsoft spring with ease.
  14. Forget the G&P motor go for lonex or ultimate. Madbull tightbores are crap most stock barrels are better look at prommy. Your better going for a 6.05 or 6.08 though over a tightbore check PDI for those.
  15. 10 minutes on a milling machine is all that would take. The pot metal your refering to is just cast aluminium a lot of 40mm shells are cnc made from a billet so you wouldnt get that finish. Still someones taken the time and effort to make a showpiece so its up to them how much they charge for their work.
  16. Yeah but to honest the only reason Northerners use harder bbs is because they are too stupid to notice normal ones. Its like poking a dinosaur with a stick its too big and dumb to register.
  17. Never had this problem with mine and I have been using it for about 2 years. Mag change is same as the AK which means yes you have to slot the front in first but its just as quick as an M4. I actually find it more natural and fluid pulling out a mag and reloading than I do with an M4.
  18. Love how you lot are so cuddly and sweet. I am just looking forward to shooting people and taking the piss about it on here after.
  19. Jesus thats one hell of a necro.Check the dates of the last post pal.
