Hi mate Let me also help you there, the short answer is the TM MP5 Rail I assume you mean this one: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/parts-c8/external-parts-c97/r-i-s-ii-for-mp5a4-a5-p1069 Will NOT fit your G&G MP5 its for TM compatible MP5s and G&G makes a completely different type of handguard. I have managed to get it to fit my G&G MP5 but it required a significant amount of dremelling and re shaping to get it to fit, if you want i can show you pictures of what the differences are and how i managed to make it fit.

How Do You "Zero" Sniper Rifles in a Short Garden
Shizbazki replied to Baz JJ's topic in Single Action Guns
Hi I have been testing my TM VSR-10 lately, where do you ask? In my study at home. Currently it shoots 460FPS on 0.20g BBs using my chronograph (XCoretech X3200), of course testing it this way means shooting it through the chrono at point blank range. What am i using as a back stop? one old vest (laundered of course) folded over twice directly behind the chrono, it enough to stop the BBs dead since all their energy is taken out by the vest absorbing the joules. -
To OP my helmet is this one: http://airsoftzone.co.uk/fast-helmet-replica-viper?filter_name=helmet I have it in black to match my CQB uniform but also have a helmet cover in Multicam (i think i got it from HelmetWorld), currently its fitted with my Z Tactical Comtac 2s using the slide rails, has a small pouch on the read of the helmet and various bits and bobs including my contour cam mount. As to this, yes mine is a replica, but i use it so that i can mount my Contour +2 Action Cam to it and my comms, also becuas eit provides bump protection and BBs to the head, no i dont expect it to be taking real bullets and shrapnel and finally yes for looks. I would say for airsoft they are quite adequate for what they do and yes it has protected my noggin from low hanging branches at my local site and BBs.

Buddy i know exactly what your problem is and i fixed it on mine. So i own a G&G MP5A5 which i bought in November 2014, went to my local site, played a whole days game, got back cleaned it and test fired it, but i also found out that when put in safe if i pulled the trigger hard enough it would slip into semi and shoot, selector switch would move too. I explain what is happening in the gun normally before i give you the solution; You have finished shooting and put the gun in safe using the external selector lever The selector lever moves the selector plate attached to the gear box forwards (away from you) in the gun This forward movement of the selector plate presses against a black lever on the outside of the gearbox This in turn rotates the safety lever in the gearbox about 3 to 5mm up This now sits in the way of the trigger Now when you pull the trigger it hits the safety lever and only pulls back a small amount This in turn prevents the trigger from moving the trigger contact sled forwards to shoot the gun. If you want to shoot the gun again, you move the selector lever which moves the selector plate off the black lever on the outside of the gearbox, as the safety lever inside the gearbox is spring loaded it falls back down to the bottom of the gearbox clearing the way for the trigger to shoot. So you're probably asking "That's cool and all but why is mine still screwing up?", easy. Most manufacturers of AEGs use a simple safety lever with a flat head such as the lever on the top left in this image: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ultimate-mp5g3-safety-lever However G&G in their mind decided to put a small ramp on theirs (i cant find a picture to show you), now normally in a brand new gun it works fine but after some usages as little as one skirmish the parts settle in and now it slips. "So how do i fix it goddamit!" Ok it's quite an easy fix so long as you know what your doing and have the correct tools. Firstly tools, have every thing you need to disassemble the gun such as an assortment of hex tools (you may need a 1.5mm hex tool as well) and screw drivers, you will also need a metal file as there is filing involved, don't use a dremel as we are not going that crazy and you could over file the safety lever. Strip the gun all the way down to the gearbox (watch Youtube videos to help you), separate the gearbox and open this again Youtube videos. Locate the safety lever, it should be a small lever no more that 1cm in length, screwed down with a small spring behind it, it will be in front of the trigger or if you are looking at the gearbox top down to the right of the trigger. If you remove it and looking at it you will notice that small ramp i was talking about where the trigger makes contact with it. Now turn it around so the side of it which was facing upwards it now facing downwards, screw it back in and see how it fits, it should be conflicting with some other parts of the gearbox but when in safe mode instead of presenting the trigger a ramp it presents the flat side to it fully putting it in safe and stops slipping. Remove the safety lever, file it down accordingly only a little bit at a time refitting it each time the wrong way around until its able to move freely clearing all parts of the gearbox. Once done put the gun back together, test the safety selector and trigger to ensure safety holds and fire a few test shots to ensure that the gearbox works and fires as it should, use a chronograph to test the FPS to ensure that you have a good air seal, if you dont have a chronograph lookup in Google poor mans chrono, hope you like drinking coke. I do some Youtube videos related to Airsoft of which i do AEG reviews and disassemblies, my MP5 was next on the list and i will be touching on that point as i had the same issue so keep a looking out for it.

To OP Hi, I read your original post about your G&G TR4-18 which you got from Land Warrior Airsoft (LWA) about upping the spring strength so you could shoot closer to 350FPS and now you are having problems with apparent water ingress. SO i am here to help as I: 1: Tech my own guns 2: Also own a G&G TR4-18 3: Also got mine from LWA Now obviously the TR4-18 comes in two lengths (TR4-18 standard and TR4-18 Light (shorter barrel)) and colours of black and tan, mine is the TR4-18 Light in tan, when i got it from LWA i got it with the dark earth 10.5" Geissel Rail which i had to fit myself and found it shooting about 375FPS using ASG Blaster 0.20g BBs (way too hot) so i had to open it to reduce that so my TR4-18 shoots a very consistent 340FPS. To upgrade the spring i would recommend you purchase a M110 Spring from a good company such as Guarder, then follow any of the Youtube videos to disassemble it and get to the gearbox, now an M110 spring will up the FPS but this would push the gun over 350FPS so you may need to use some wire cutters and clip about 3 or 4 coils from the spring (piston side) to lower the FPS which is what i did on my TR4-18. Remember that your TR4-18 comes with that pneumatic blowback, unusually the more hop you apply the higher your FPS (normally its more hop equals less FPS) and this is because of that blow back system as i think G&G install a stronger spring maybe something like an M105 to compensate for the blow back system. As for the triple shot thing you state that on semi its doing a three round burst as in three cycles of the gearbox and a shot coming out with each cycle and that on full auto its sticking, i'll take the sticking to mean the gearbox is locking up? Stupid question but were you using the same battery all day? As the locking up would indicate a nearly empty battery, but still it would not do a 3 round burst. First thing ill ask, during or after the game was there any water ingress into the buffer tube? I ask this because that is where G&G installed their so called 3rd Gen MOSFET (read piece of crap that gets super hot and blows when using 11.1v LiPos and you should get rid of ASAP) and that your issues could simply extend from that being shorted as its usual heatshrink (bot very well either) to insulate it from the tube. It the MOSFET looks fine (should still replace it) then your second check (without voiding warranty) would be to open the bottom of the pistol grip (taking care NOT to strip the screw heads), remove the motor (again taking care not to damage the motor contacts), then remove the pistol grip (two screws inside the grip again taking care not to strip the heads) and then looking inside the bottom of the gearbox with a torch. Check and see if the Anti reversal latch is correctly aligned (see Google), that there appears to be no wear on the gears or piston (might be hard to see), i would also pop the ARL using the spring decompression button (right side of the upper receiver just in front of the cocking handle), see if every spins fine then using a small screwdriver spin the bevel gear as far as you can watching if the ARL is latching properly on the Bevel gear. If everything appears fine then reassemble it, power it up and shoot it a few times, if its still doing the same then you are going to have to open the gearbox and void the warranty, its only then you might be able to spot what's wrong with it such as a stripped gear (has never happened to me using stock G&G gears in my TR4-18, M14 EBR and MP5). Sometimes there is nothing wrong and for some reason the gun is just playing silly buggers, my MP5 would not shoot when powered even when everything appeared ok in the gearbox, it was only taking it apart (on a skirmish site too, talk about field teching) and putting it back together that something must have just fallen into place and worked. Whitlst you have the gearbox open you may as well as swap out the old mosfet for a new one, i would recommend a GATE Electronics PICO AAB as its about the same size as the G&G one and all you will have to do is splice it on to the G&G wires which are actually very good. FAILING that if you are not confident in opening and putting the gear box back together send it to the shop, i would ask that they up the FPS to 350FPS and fix that 3 round burst thing. I hope this helps you in anyway, any questions feel free to post here and ill try and get back to you.

Hi Welcome to the world of Airsofting and these here good forums The weapons you have mentioned are both very good as G&G Makes some very good internals, the differences between the two weapons (bar aesthetics) is as you mentioned the blowback system used by G&G as a feature. G&Gs blowback system for the gearbox is a simple pneumatic system, some people like them, some don't as it adds complications to the gearbox but not by much IMO. The difference between the actual gearboxes is that the blowback one has a port hole on the top of the gearbox, the cylinder has a hole to match this, there is an additional cylinder on top of the gearbox which has a small spring loaded piston inside it and this is attached to the bolt plate. When you shoot pressure from the main piston ports some air to the small piston which pushes back the bolt slide, the spring in the small piston then returns this back to the normal place. The video below gives a good idea on how this works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyeGfob0ZUI Its more of an aesthetic appeal and i like it, i have a TR4-18 and have kept it plus it looks cool with the slide bolt moving back and forth in head cam vids. The rest of the gearbox is the same, high quality gears, piston with AOE set etc. Though i have found G&G safety levers on their version 2 gearboxes occasionally slip so you could shoot whilst the safety was apparently "ON", my MP5 had this problem but so far my TR4-18 hasn't had it. Lastly whether you do or don't, if your gun is supplied with a built in MOSFET made by G&G either use NiMh batteries or restrict your use only to 7.4 LiPos as it does not like 11.1 Lipos contrary to what the supplied paperwork says, if you do want to use an 11.1 lipo for the Rate of Fire then change the MOSFET. Hope all the above helps and again welcome to Airsoft

Hi If you're opening your gearbox for the first time i would recommend that you do so carefully. Once you have prised the gearbox from the upper and lower reciever, before doing anything else to it I would strongly advise you decompress the main spring by popping the anti reversal latch (ARL) See here for a guide on how to do this: http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/topic/220903-how-to-pop-the-anti-reversal-latch-necro-exempt/ Follow what ever youtube video to open your gearbox and hey presto you are done. As for lubrication the first thing i would do is take everything out (shims included), i would then use a degreaser (essentially washing up liquid on steroids) and a toothbrush and get rid of all the old grease and gunk. Let it all dry before regreasing. Here is a sample of the degreaser i use, you dont have to buy from Halfrauds though: http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/engine-oils-fluids/lubricating-penetrating-oil/3-in-one-professional-heavy-duty-cleaner-degreaser-500ml Now i have had experience with a few different greases and have found some to be better than others, i have used RC Car gear grease with PTFE, Abbey LT2 grease and 3 in 1 White lithium grease (in a spray can), from that i noted that the RC car grease and LT2 grease were very thick and goopy slowing my rate of fire down. However i found the 3 in 1 lithium grease to be much better at improving my ROF, it is in spray can form and quite powerful to pray into a gearbox so what i do is spray a little onto a plastic sheet and use a hobby brush to literally paint the grease on the gears, anything moving and piston rails. Heres the grease i use: http://www.halfords.com/motoring-travel/engine-oils-fluids/grease/3-in-one-professional-white-lithium-grease-400ml As for rubber o-rings i have found that Abbey Silicone grease (both dropper type and thick goopy type) to be pretty good

Saying that at £60, G&P EOTech clones are pretty good for a clone of the real thing (If you are after an EOTech sight G&P and Hurricane are said to be the best clones) The reticule is bright as you would want it and you can step it down, there is no distortion or parallax and its solidly built, the front lens was the only issue as it was slightly tinted in order to get the reticule to reflect off of it. The sight picture is quite large and you are suppose to aim with both eyes with it and EOTech sights are mostly for CQB type jobbies. I was quite please with my G&P EOTEch 551 sights until i got a real EOTech 552 sight, i tell you what nothing beats the real thing but it was vastly more expensive.

I try and buy UK retailers only (so i don't have to wait ages for it to arrive, i am a bit impatient). All my RIFs have been UK bought from UK based retailers. Most of the parts and spares for my RIFs are bought in the UK with the exception of some coming from a Northern Ireland based Airsoft company (so still the UK then). Nearly all of my clothing is bought in the UK with the exception of my helmet, helmet cover and comms kit, they were all bought from AirsoftPeak in Asia. My main gripe about UK retailers is that whenever you are in the market to purchase a RIF or other bits and bobs is that dreaded OUT OF STOCK! I like buying all the gear and bits for a RIF when i buy a RIF from one retailer (online or in person) to keep P&P costs down but oh no, theres always something important that is OUT OF STOCK! Whereas in Asia everything seems to be in stock available for immediate ordering. My main example of this would be my comms kit for my helmet, i specifically wanted the Z tactical ComTac 2 with a 2 pin motorola PTT cable as well as the helmet mount and found nowhere in the UK that sold everything under one roof for a reasonable price, in the end i stumbled across Airsoft Peak that had everything i wanted, i ordered on XMas Eve and buy early Jan i had them. So my main thing to Airsoft Retailers is get as many things as you can back in stock, if you are unlikely to stock it for some period of time or it is a discontinued item REMOVE it from your website (ProAirsoft Supplies i am looking at you).

Or get a spare gun as you get a complete gun plus its more cost effective.

I got a KWA Kriss Vector which cost about £350 brand new, the mags for the thing are damned expensive though at £60 per mag. Look around on classifieds and you might find something to your taste

G&G top tech gen 3 owners - problems with MOSFETs?
Shizbazki replied to dex's topic in Electric Guns
I got a TR4-18 Light in Tan: http://www.guay2.com/web/gt_product/TR418_Light.php?lang=en Which was a Gen 3 MOSFET, when i opened the box there was a piece of paper wrapped around the manual saying "YOU CAN USE 11.1V LIPOS WITH THIS GUN, IN FACT USE 11.1V LIPOS". So i immediately did and very quickly noticed that the MOSFET was heating up just to touch, having heard the horror stories about their Gen3 MOSFETs i snipped the wire and installed a GATE PICO AAB instead, better MOSFET with no over heating -
Hi all, just adding my 2 cents worth of a review for the above weapon.

Not related to the post but Taiwan (AKA The Republic of China) is a completely separate country to The Peoples Republic of China, it like Saying that North Korea and South Korea are both the same country and we all know the MASSIVE difference between those two. Differences between the two are: Taiwan is a fully democratic state where its people elect a president, prime minster etc from a number of democratic parties (a bit like here in the UK) China is a single party Communist state where its leaders are elected by a select number of Party members The Peoples Republic of China in it current form was created under the leadership of Mao Zedong (backed by Communist Russia) The Republic of China in its current form was created by General Chiang Kai Shek of the Kuomintang (Back the US of A) The Peoples Republic of China passport is RED with the main govt building as the logo The Republic of China passport is Green. In the UK people from The Peoples Republic of China who visit to study or work with the correct visa must register themselves with their local police force and must notify their local force if they move home or residence. In the UK people from The Republic of China who visit to study or work withe the correct visa don't have to register themselves with the police and are free to move about the UK. Technically Taiwan and PRC are still at war as no peace agreement or treaty was ever signed, like the argument between North and South Korea. Anyways more to the point about SCAR - L Air nozzles lol I found on my friends WE SCAR - L which uses a V2 gearbox to use just a normal nozzle, though i know that G&G sometimes uses a propriety nozzles just for giggles as my G&G MP5 had a different nozzle length from a standard TM nozzle.

Hi mate as a fellow G&G gun owner with two guns that have G&Gs pneumatic blowback system namely the two linked below: MP5A5 http://www.guay2.com/web/gt_product/tgm_a5_rtb.php?lang=en and HK 418 in Tan http://www.guay2.com/web/gt_product/TR418_Light.php?lang=en I thought i would put in my two cents. TL:DR version Its to do with the Pneumatic Blow Back System, if you drop a M100 spring in your gun you will probably go down to about 300FPS, open your gun, lube the green rubber seal between the main cylinder and blowback cylinder, take out the stock spring, using a pair of wire cutters and snip about 2 or 3 coils from the piston side of the spring (not the spring guide side), re install, re chrono if its still too high snip some more of the spring. I had to do this for my G&G TR4-18. LONG VERSION: When getting these G&G type guns and wanting to chrono them its best to ensure the following before chrono. Do use a decent BB brand at .20g and Ensure hop up is fully off. You state that after installing new SHS 13:1 gears and motor you have increased the FPS without changing the spring from 335FPS to 355FPS and that you have owned it for 9 months and that this is the first time you have opened it up, cleaned it and re lubed it. I can tell you exactly where your problem lies; it in the Pneumatic Blow Back System (herein call PBB System) and the sudden expanding of Air. To go into detail, the PBB System of G&G guns work like so: Piston rushes forward after last tooth in sector gear is cleared Piston compresses air in front of it, BB starts to move down barrel Some of that air is ported to the PBB System cylinder above the mechbox That ported air pushes on a small piston in the PBB System cylinder This causes the silver plate on the PBB System to pop back A spring inside the PBB System cylinder the pushes the small piston forward The air used in the PBB System is then exhausted back into the main cylinder before the main piston head reaches the Cylinder head completing a full shot cycle At this point the BB is already about half way down the barrel Watch this video to get a clearer picture: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyeGfob0ZUI In order for G&G to provide enough air for both the BB and the PBB System they upped the spring from an M100 to an M110 (or thereabouts), note that as the PBB System blows back a spring inside its cylinder brings it back forward before the main piston head hits the cylinder head. That extra air used in the PBB System as well as its small spring used to bring it forward also exerts a small amount of force on the BB travelling down the barrel even if it is small, this is important regarding why the hop affects FPS in the opposite way. As we know, the general rule of thumb is MIN Hop means more FPS, MAX Hop means less FPS, we also know that a hop unit adds backspin to the BB by friction from the hop rubber. With a PBB System and a MIN hop: As the main piston travels towards the BB the BB starts to move forwards Some air is ported to the PBB cylinder which pushes the blow back system back The reverse then happens as the PBB cylinder's spring and some of the remaining air pressure now rushes back into the main cylinder BB able to move forwards freely as there isn't any or much friction from the hop up rubber Because the BB is able to move down the barrel more freely the air has more space to expand (therefore exerts less pressure on to the BB leaving the barrel), BB exits barrel at say 320FPS With a PBB System and MAX Hop As the main piston travels towards the BB the BB starts to move forwards Some air is ported to the PBB cylinder which pushes the blow back system back The reverse then happens as the PBB cylinder's spring and some of the remaining air pressure now rushes back into the main cylinder BB starts to move forwards but gets caught in the friction exerted by the hop up rubber therefore slowing it down (as normal) But because of this the air from the main piston and PBB have less space to expand (therefore exerts MORE pressure on the BB pushing it harder) the BB exits the barrel at say 350FPS. Remember if something is compressed the it exerts higher pressure on its surroundings Now if you was to disassemble the gun to the gearbox and take the PBB cylinder off you will notice that there is a small rubber air seal which fits between the cylinder and the PBB cylinder right? Mine was green like in this video: at about the 12:08 mark. This seal which behaves similar to the piston head O-Ring in that if not lubed up it begins to shrink and therefore does not form a good seal. Chances are that since owning this gun and even before that when it was sat with your retailer, this seal was lubed up at the factory and then since for the best part of probably a year was never lubed up and therefore the seal shrank and leaked a small amount of air giving you an acceptable FPS of 335. Then when you dis-assembled it cleaned the mechbox, installed new gears, greased stuff back up and put it back together again you either lubed up the seal or lubed the piston head with new lube (which makes its way to the PBB seal too) creating a tighter leak free seal.Because the PBB seal is now better and air does not leak then your FPS has jumped up by 20FPS. DON'T replace the stock spring with an M100 spring your FPS will suffer greatly probably going down to about 280 - 300 FPS, what you need to do instead is keep the original spring, using a pair of wire cutters snip off about 2 or 3 coils off the piston head side and bend it back flat, re install it back in the gun and test it, if its still too high snip the coils off one at a time till you reach what you want. My experience in this comes mostly from my G&G TR4-18 which i got from LWA, they stated the gun was firing 355FPS using ASG Blaster .20g BBs in a MadBull Chronograph, I used the exact same BBs in an Xcoretech X3200 chrono and that returned 370FPS, my local airsoft shop confirmed the 370FPS. I dis assembled the gun, put a M100 spring in and suddenly the gun was shooting 280 - 300 FPS, so instead i cut a few coils off the stock spring, installed that and now my TR4-18 and MP5 both fire between 338FPS to 345FPS. So in the end my advice to you: Ensure that the PBB seal is lubed (silicone oil should do fine) Use the stock spring Cut a few coils off the spring on the piston end I hope this all helps.

My ghetto BB catcher for Chronographing Guns. From left to right: Box old white t-shirt Makita Drill case (used to elevate chronograph, doesnt have to be a drill case, could be anything really) Chronograph set up like this: If you can see it, i place a tape measurer at the back to hold the t-shirt down at the back, tuck the t-shirt under the box to hold it in place. T- shirt can withstand multiple BB shots

Its not an issue at all and in fact brings about a good discussion regarding your circumstances. Try and contact him and as Chock and myself say keep records that you have tried, it will be in your favour. End of the day i know that this is not about money, its more the fact that you dont want this stuff in your house but it may still belong to him I hope end of the day you can reach a conclusion / resolution regarding this

The funny thing is when i went to the shop last year i half expected that dude to be there working or at least serving customers because when you watch videos from other Airsoft shops (proper ones) its the actual staff that review it. I dont think he works there or if he does its only as their PR employee read writing fake only excellent reviews and making youtube videos for mostly crappy guns. Every Airsoft shop i have been to seem to hold them in dubious light. The main company holder of JBBG is Trimex and is owned by what i believe to be a Sikh Family: http://www.endole.co.uk/company/04501515/trimex-uk-limited When i went there i was served by a Sikh bloke, he was nice enough and very helpful but everything other than the G&G stuff sucked. Since getting i have now discovered far better Airsoft shops but not to tail off the subject: P799A M3 SHOTGUN http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/517/2-TONE-BB-GUNS/339/PUMP-SHOTGUNS/60/P799A-M3-SHOTGUN mr poopoo my mates got this gun but when i fired it the pump broke but his dad fixed it with a bit of superglue.Overall a great gun! So it fell apart, had to be repaired but its great ???

Scaring off rats. Shooting my friends ass's and airsofting. Whoever is considering buying this gun you should it is Very Accurate Very Powerful Very Reliable and makes a cool sound when it fires! Possible copy and past by the owners of the site with a hope no one notices???

Hi Chellew22 Allow me to be a bit of a Policeman here (as in seeing it from the eyes of the law) This will be a bit of an essay (so i provided a TL:DR version just below with long bit below that) in order to address as many points as possible in one go. TL:DR version: The gun is the real cookie item and would net you around £150 to £200 depending on brand and condition as I know of someone asking for an M249 SAW on these here forums http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/24024-m249-para/ Most importantly find out a way to contact him by any means even via a third party (like a friend of his) to see if he wants his stuff, he could pop up anytime asking for it and when he found out you sold it can make a malicious allegation against you (YES PEOPLE DO THAT) to the police. LONG VERSION From what i understand the following points is that: · You purchased some or all the items for your ex as a gift · That subsequently after your break up he has left these items at your home · That it has been about 2 years that you have split · That you are no longer able to contact him (does this means both directly and indirectly) · That you intend to rid yourself of said items by way of sale Firstly i can see a number of issues cropping up from this since the break up of a couple (even if its an amicable one) can turn sour very quickly over property and money etc. The S1 Theft Act 1968 states that a person is guilty of the offence if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intent to permanently deprive the other of it. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/60 Lets break this down first. Dishonestly: Basically not being truthful of ownership Appropriates: takes, makes their own, Property: this can be anything including Airsoft stuff Belonging to another: says exactly what it means on the tin Intent to: The Mens Rea of the offence (the intention) Permanently Deprive the Other of It: This means to keep or own the item, to sell, eat or destroy it So in your case: Dishonestly: Not saying you are or are not but please i implore you to find his consent (trust me it will clear things up later) Appropriates: Yes you have taken charge of the items are they are in your control, control is not the same as ownership an example would be say someone lent you a DVD movie? you are in control of it but you do not own it Property: Yes there is property namely the airsoft stuff Belonging to another: This is the arguable bit Intent to: Well you intend to sell it right? Permanently Deprive the Other of It: Well someone will be permanently deprived of it if and when you sell it, the arguable bit is who will be you or your ex? Firstly we need to establish who owns what, do you own all the items, did you buy everything for him or bits of it, anything he bought using his own money say for example the helmet is technically his and therefore the sale of it would constitute as theft. However if you have given him certain things like the gun which i believe you stated you bought for him as a gift, even with a receipt that you purchased it, if you have given the gun to him as a gift then you have (in the eyes of the law) transferred ownership of the gun from you to him as you forfeited your ownership of it, he is technically the owner of the gun and therefore selling it would constitute as theft. Imagine the scenario (and i have seen this played out in real life many a times between ex's over things as trivial as some clothes or DVDs or Mucis CDs and even a Library Card): One day out of the blue he rocks up, knocks on your door and asks for all his airsoft stuff, you said you sold it, he gets the hump and because all the stuff was gifted to him he believes he still has ownership of it and calls the police, he gives his allegation to them that you sold his airsoft stuff without his consent and is willing to proceed with the allegation, as its a Domestic Incident (as you were both in an intimate relationship at one point regardless of how long has passed) they have to (as per ACPO guidance in the case where there is an offence in a domestic related incident officers MUST take a positive action policy and 9 out of 10 times) arrest you (which will mean you get a PNCID Number if you haven't already got one (don't take the last statement badly, i don't know you so don't know if you have one or not) in order for the offence to be properly investigated by way of taped recorded interview, this could lead to depending what you say during interview No Further Action or a Caution or Charged to appear at a Magistrates Court and if they find it in his favour will convict you and you will end up with a Criminal Record (unless you already have one then it will be added to it (again i don't know you so don't know if you have one or not). Even if you are no further action'ed he may still take you to a civil claims court in order to recuperate the monetary value of the items sold. In reality the officers would most likely use some discretion and say to him "If you left her so long ago, why only now do you want the stuff back?" and if they learn about the gifting of it would likely point him in the direction of a civil claims court and then would he be bothered to do that, likelihood is NO. Please don't take this whole statement as literal but you can see how nasty it can get, some people can be vindictive F**KS when they want to and can ruin your life just because they can for shits and giggles. Its seems to me from your first statement "My ex boyfriend, long gone, long story lol", that you have had a bad split or at the very least not an amicable one so it would weigh on the side that he would likely be an arse about it if you sold the stuff just to annoy you. The best way of going about this is to contact him directly by phone, facebook (remember you can message people who are not friended to you), whatsapp or if that's not possible indirectly via mutual friends or friends of friends etc, you are likely to have three outcomes from here: A: You get in contact him somehow or other, asks if he wants the stuff back, he says YES, he comes round at an agreed time and date, have mutual friends between you or better yet call the local police to ask if an officer can attend to witness the exchange of property and prevent a Breach of the Peace (this might not always happen or be available) but do let the officer know upon his/her arrival what the items are so that they dont get the shock of their life when they see an LMG being exchanged. You exchange property without incident JOB DONE. B: You get in contact him somehow or other, asks if he wants the stuff back, he says NO, if you have a phone call recording, Facebook messenger log etc of him saying NO, Save it and keep it, sell the stuff on this here good forum and be done with it. If he crops up weeks later asking for the stuff you have a phone call recording or face book log showing that he gave you permission to sell it as he relinquished ownership of it, tough luck to him JOB DONE. C: You have made every effort to contact him be it by phone, letter, email, facebook messenger etc or find him via mutual friends, going to his house, speaking to his parents and still cannot get in contact with him, keeping a log of your progress in order to contact him to ask about this stuff you sell it under the defence that you believe he has relinquished his ownership of said items, should he pop up a few weeks later you have proof you made every effort to find him, JOB DONE. Chances are that putting it on a public forum such as this which he may be a member of and see might spark his interest in wanting it back so be prepared to hear from him again regarding this. Finally should you have done all the above and come to the conclusion to sell it then you must ensure that whomever you sell the gun to must have a legal defence to buy the gun such as a UKARA registered airsofter or other defence See the Law section in this forum for more guidence. Finally don't take what i have said above as Gospel as depending where you live in the UK your local Police force may have its own different policies regarding the above and there are probably another hundred factors which you may have missed out that i don't know about and i have only described one out of many worse case scenarios to you from real life experiences. Take my advice or not, up to you really

For all the hate i did buy my first Airsoft gun from them. But it was a quality one namely a G&G M14 EBR short barrel. All the other stuff they had in the shop when i visited it in person was utter tat, flimsy plastic sniper rifles etc. Worse still while i was there i saw them sell a bb pistol (albeit a cheap low FPS, two tone, spring knock off worth about £20) to a 13 year old traveller boy who brought along his big sister (she looked barely over 16) as adult purchase.
