Disappointingly I have to start this thread by admitting I am an utter noob (other then some paintball experience which I'm sure you guys would say doesn't even count lol). In fact I'm so new and fresh I don't even have a UKARA or even a two-tone. Nil gun porn on this thread to offer at this stage but I can promise a Tokyo Marui Scar Heavy coming in the next few weeks as my Mrs has put up the money already so we are going to Wolf Armouries not far from us on Tuesday (my birthday) to put the money down despite them not having stock till mid July. I have chosen that shop as I can do the buy/rent scheme in order to for fill the UKARA requirements over the next couple of months.

In the mean time I have been getting other bits and bobs since Christmas last year. I pretty much just require my scar and hard kick deagle and I'm ready to go.

My loadout is pretty much black with hints of red and designed to look more casual rather then serious professional. I much prefer this casual look seen in perhaps the main character of the film LOCKOUT, then all out 'operator' like call of duty. I think it suits me better personally even though I know in terms of being spotted camo is much better (but I do intend on playing indoor CQB 95% of the time eg; the mall, bunker 51, etc).

Right, enough chat, from the bottom to the top, lets get to it...

Boots - had a fair few of these in my time (not for airsoft/paintball) and have experimented with many types/brands. For sheer quality and hard wearing id say doc martins can not be faulted but for comfort Id say probably the magnums were best. I wanted something a bit different from the norm so stumbled into these NIKE ACG boots. Incredibly hard wearing and ridiculously comfy not to mention extremely light (considering design and build quality). The sole is actually so flexible you can fold the boot in half like a flip flop. Also, being a bit of a trainer collector, I am a true sucker for an air bubble lol. These do come in full black, but I found out there was a very limited edition one in black and red... it seemed like fate. £120 later after an ebay search these were on the way to my house. Inside the boots I have gotten Nike padded football boots. I wear arsenal ones at the weekend for kick-abouts in the park with my son and found them perfect for keeping heat down and comfortability so got a black pair to do the job. If any of you have worn these in a football boot (no where near as comfy as say a trainer) you will know what I mean.

Christmas came, and the mrs had been spying on my ebay watching list so was able to get me a good few bits as gifts. Crye style trousers with knee pads built in, Viper utility bag, magpuls for 7.62 mags, quick mag pouches (only china made/reps) tinted goggles, standard glasses, and mechanix tactical gloves. As you can imagine I was a very happy man on Christmas morning. It was like being 12 again lol

Next up not too long ago I picked up a molle belt as I do not intend on using rigs or vests at all.

With regards to the belt I have for the trousers, its a typical normal casual belt but I wanted a clip on buckle with a difference that would fit into my overall concept so when I saw this it just had to be mine. Not tactical in the slightest but cool I think yes...

When it comes to shirts, originally as you could see in the first photo im wearing a standard primark value black vest however, after seeing Fast and Furious 6 I saw the Under Armour dri fit tee The Rock was wearing and I thought I gotta have me some of that. UA tees are readily available anywhere but I could only find ones with a white logo which looks a bit crap with the load out concept I had in mind. The Rock's one is black logo on black tee which looks puckka but couldn't find it in any shops but once again was rescued by the bay. I don't have any pics of me in the top yet, so you will just have to do with a pic of the rock instead for now lol...

Just couple of days ago, got this Casio Gshock watch for my birthday also. I have had several Gshocks in the past but this is by far my favourite. Its military inspired so has that usual build quality but stealthy matte black look to it. My favourite feature is that you can activate the light just by looking at it so you don't have to take you hard off the trigger to press any buttons.

well, for a noobie, you went and got some pretty decent gear.

I get the whole, private operator feel from the loadout.

Looks solid mate!

In making it casual, you've made what wouldn't look out of place as a PMC loadout, or one of those Bond henchmen lookalikes.

As Sheriff said you've got yourself a decent set up but as you're playing CQB I'd reccomend some elbow pads to save your elbows from cuts and scrapes in the t shirt, as well as a helmet of some type. Even if its a cheap knock of MICH 200 as it'll offer some protection if you bump your head and stop the stinging of a close range headshot.

looks grand(better than mine tbh) would reccommend looking at something to protect your mouth as getting your teeth shot out isnt nice i hear, despite face protection not really fitting with the look you are aiming for... (specially in cqb where your usually getting near full force....)

I never really bother with elbow pads, I always find my self spending more time adjusting them then doing anything else.
The helmet might be a good idea. or maybe a full facepaintball mask that goes all around the head.

Getting teeth shot out has happened a fair amount to players. But usually I just keep my lips sealed tighter than the asshole of a con in the showers.

On a side note, if you play bunker 51, you may see me at some point. Looking to start going there this year as I want an excuse to get some use out of my pistol.

You could preserve the look and your teeth with a double gum shield, or 2 single ones. They will interfere with communication though, but unlike Jesse Ventura who ain't got time to bleed, you and your wallet will feel it good and proper if you get shot in the face from a few feet away (dentist bill)... although I've seen a tooth chipped in half by a long shot too.

I think you're the most buff person I've ever seen airsofting, ever haha.

Screw the game, you could do the film.

Well, the most tactical loadout is the one that best suits the situation you are in which allows you to be fast and get the job done. So, a lighter loadout for faster movement is more tactical than wearing more gear which you dont need. Most soilders will remove body armour just so that they can get in and out of vehicles faster because their gear makes them less combat efficient.

So, really for airsoft purpose. He has a very tactical loadout.

I'd shit myself if you came round the corner at me while wearing that, puts me in mind of a heavily kitted nightclub bouncer :D

But anyway, I'd go for a long sleeve shirt in CQB because it isn't fun scraping yourself on the gritty floor, long sleeves can just about protect the uppermost tissue on your arms if you do take a dive.

All in all your first loadout looks pretty beasty, beats my antique S'95 loadout though. I need an update :)

cuts and scrapes? I really do not mean to sound sarcastic or a knob end as such but scrapes I always thought scrapes and cuts were half the fun. I actually chuckled when I read this lololololololol. Dude, Im 32. If I was an anorexic anemic 13 year old I could understand but really...???... lol. (no offence was meant to any anemic anorexic 13 years olds....I swear lol). I told my mrs bout this post and she said the trees and walls would be better off wearing the pads to protect them from me lol. Yes im not as solid as a brick wall, but No, Im sure no one has ever had an arm fall off whilst enjoying airsoft (otherwise it would be called airhard lol)

That jesse ventura line is an absolute classic. That and the one where he claims he is a sexual tyrannosaur! (good times). Im deffo worried about having teeth shot at but am struggling to find something to fit in with my overall concept/look. might just be a british flag bandana in the end (perhaps in black/grey/white instead of red/blue/white if I can find it but unsuccessful so far). Otherwise for now a half face mesh jobby will have to do.

I have have been in the position before where tactical kit deffo slowed and weighed me down not to mention worst of all for me (personally) made me overheat badly. The idea of carrying an entire airsoft shop on my wont rub so its all about as less as poss within reason. And when I say 'reason', what I mean is looking cool lololololol (or at least trying to lol)

Looks awesome, man!

Looking forward to seeing the guns!

change of plan with the sidearm...watch this space...

Wee update on the under armour top I got for the loadout 'a le rock' lol. Thought Id better give it a run before skirmishing it so wore it to the gym. Breathes very very well and fits nice but I am worried it may break easily. I have been assured by another fellow airsofter that they are stronger than they look despite having the appearance at times of tights so I will take his word for it for now. If they do rip it may actually enhance the look. I once had a motorcycle accident (at 80mph) and when I hit the floor and rolled (about 30m) the friction ripped my tee and arms to shreads. Still wear it though lololololol.

Have got some selfies to post of it. You can see the UA sign and how its only subtle in the second pic but on the back I cant stand how the rectangular tag can be seen through the material below the neck line. Looks like a bloomin space to put batteries in an action man figure. Not cool.

Well, i've come across a few people who just put a gum shield in when they play. Cant talk all that well, but it works. As it stands I have a scarf on that i bury my face down into most of the time.

as for the whole tactical / Tacticool I deem tacticool as a player who wears all the gear to simulate a army/swat loadout, the only thing you need is space to hold batteries/mags thats about it, everything else is just there to look cool.

So the minimal loadout is by far more tactical than a plate carrier equipped to the brim with pouches.

I know how you feel with the overheating thing too. I did have warrior plate carrier a year or so ago, but the thing was a damn nightmare. looked cool as hell but it just wasnt practical.

and on another wee update....Was my birthday on Tuesday so went shopping. Turns out TM scar Heavy's are about as hard to come across as black men in tanning shops or honest politicians! Had a real nightmare ringing around and stuff till the helpful guys at pro airsoft supplies stepped in a helped a man in need! Ordered scar and pistol but due to coming from abroad Im looking at probably over a month to arrive....

Cant wait to cuddle this gun and stroke it whilst listening to marvin gaye music!

SCARHBLKTM.jpg

Oh and I decided to skip the TM d'eagle and wanted something slightly more intimidating. After trawling the interweb and watching films on youtube I came up with this small treat...

Marushin Raging Bull or as I like to call it Raging Boner!

MURS-4920136047259-1L.jpgMRUS-4920136047266-3L.jpg

What sold me about this gun is the sheer size and the fact its black ad red (as is my entire loadout). It also takes 8mm larger BBs which is a nice touch also. Also my Scar H will have a holo sight and EGLM so overall quite a modern look but this is nice to contrast that with a bit of an old skool look being a revolver. This may take much longer than the scar to arrive from the states but it should be worth it. Finding a holster for it is a bitch but still working on it so if anyone knows of anything/anyone place let me know. As it stands I will probably wear my right leg outside my trousers and place the raging bull in the trouser leg instead lol. When this arrives I think I may be found in a quiet corner of my house whispering absolute filth to it

I think I may nickname the scar 'jugde' and the bull 'jury'

Oh and Im booked in at AWA Herts on Sunday so say hello if your there and we bump into one another (shoot first say hello second lol)

My boy, you have impeccable taste in weaponry.

as for a holster, im not sure if blackhawk make a holster for the raging bull, but the leg platform is pretty decent and it look cool too. so would fit you load out well if they made one(all else fails look at getting one imported from USA, any holster you can think of those yanks will have.

Not to douse anyone's ardour (because yeah that pistol does it for me) but you'd best check the muzzle energy. We always talk about FPS limits, but that is just because it's easy short hand - the FPS is measured with a 0.2g BB. An 8mm BB will be a lot heavier, so your FPS will have to be much lower for the combination to be under site limits.

Good times indeed. I've got to say it - strap that to your sore ass!
