Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Nutster's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
@TheFull9 between this and the 80's para chest rig for sure. The mag poachs held 4 G3 style mags, one you can see acted as my pistol holster, so had two small pistol mags on the side pockets, main space carried speed loader and some smoke grenades. Only down side is the frag poachs are too lose for the mini smokes they use for poison gas. @Tackle yeah, build-a-bag is definitely in my future, but then, I have a bag..... I'll have to find an all day battlesim for the mishmash rig to push capacity. -
Are Border Force stopping gas & Co2 mags as well. Mines been held up for ages without any reason given.

Almost 15, and yep I insist he wears a full face mask no matter what. No mesh or anything else. He has been shooting for almost ten years. We both shot full auto live fire in Poland this year, and he has great discipline and common sense. He gets that from his mum of course. Hope I'm allowed to post that picture, I can remove it if not? He chose that one, I went for luger, 1911, uzi, AK, Tommy, and all the ones ive seen in the movies. Expensive but worth every penny. I shot 15 different ones, him 13. Made our holiday, can't wait to go back. Wife is Polish, so will go back again soon. Found out about Taiwangun, so have another reason to visit now -
We will make sure extensive testing is done before actual release .

Looks promising. Hopefully the mags are more reliable than their other HK magazines. Would be too easy for them to be cross compatible with another brand.

Is that what happens when an mp5 and m249 have a drunken 1 night stand?

The conversion was as easy as swapping the inlet valve for the correct hpa adapter. Yes green gas does have silicone oil in it to help keep O rings lubricated . So far I've not had any issues with the seals in the drum mag though . The mag capacity thing does take some getting used to . When I run my L119's I carry 5 stanag mags and a speed loader , I can get 2 plus BB loads from a gas fill on those , so that gives me something in the 300 round total for an hour game which I find enough for my play style . It's all working in close to the other team , picking your shots and double taps ! The MP5 mags would need a refill of gas too , so when I use those I carry the speed loader and a can of gas . I have 4 stick mags . Just re fill during quiet moments or when re spawning . Same when I use my MP7 . The Apache certainly is loads of fun , I like the 3 round burst on it . I guess it depends on how much you enjoy the mag changes , if you aren't fussed then the drum might be the way to go , I'd still carry spare gas for it and give it a quick top off now and then . If the mag changes are a big part of the fun I'd stick to the stick mags . However if you want to run it in the winter the drum with an hpa adapter will work better given the size of the gas capacity in the stick mags.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned. How old is your son? I ask as some sites require under 18s to wear one piece eye and face protection rather than goggles/glasses and a separate face mask. -

Hey, I got a Cyma CM355 abs version this morning. It is a cheap spring shotgun but it is a nice (not so) little thing! Doesn't have the hassle of gas and shoots FAR. Mind you I live in Italy where the limit for any airsoft replica is 0.99j, but this thing shoots as far as an AEG

No offence taken at all mate, I'm here to learn... Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm a pussy who doesn't want to get hurt, and especially not see my son get hurt. He's far too expensive to replace... Cheers Rick. And yep stupidly is far too common these days. Far too common. -

The issue that I haven't seen mentioned is that whilst yes your intention was to show a cheap bargain and use them outside of airsoft games - A person could see them posted here, not read the rest of the context, go out to Lidl and buy a set, rock up to airsoft and then their next post is "I bought goggles I saw on an airsoft page and now I have 1 eye - It's all their fault!!!" Extreme? Yes, however stupidity is everywhere π Roughly nine years ago my at the time regular site had a chap rock up with some cheap safety glasses (Think the type that comes with those Β£20 springer and BB bundles) who assumed as it was bought from an airsoft (More so hobby store where they sell samurai swords etc too, you know the types I'm sure!) store that they would be fine to use. He was walking back to respawn and had got a stray BB hit his glasses, shatter them and LUCKILY the BB hit just under his eye. I saw him again maybe 6 months later and he was still having trouble with where the BB had hit him and it had caused damage still. He tried to sue the site for negligence (It didn't go very far obviously) but it put the site owner at risk, all because he didn't do his due diligence and ensure he had correct safety gear. There's more to it than just you getting hurt. Imagine if you was the player that had shot at someone, not expecting to hit their eye protection (BB's aren't exactly known to go exactly where you want them to 99% of the time) and the next thing you know the dude you've just shot is on the floor screaming in pain because his cheap eye pro broke and now he has plastic splinters in his eye ball - That would be traumatic for everybody I reckon π The site owners would also have to fill out an incident form for their insurance, which then puts that cost up for them. Sadly most sites are struggling financially as it is in this day and age, the last thing they'd need is premiums going up too. One accident from misjudgement or poor decision making from an individual can spiral into a big ordeal. I hope I don't come across as rude or targeting towards you as that's not my intention at all, I genuinely just don't want to see people getting hurt outside of "Ouch the BB hit me and it stung" π -

My father and I used to shoot air rifles and airsoft guns in the back garden with no eye protection whatsoever, so you're already doing one better than we did π
