Oof! I always tape any of my split grip CO2 revolvers before play as if anyone is capable of loosing half a grip it's me. If you got it from a UK retailer I'd definitely ask them to see if they can replace. Off to Wilmslow for my sins today so I'm popping into Tangodown to ask about trades.

Here we have my hpa m870. Good bit of fun this one, great for CQB. You can select 3 or 6 shots per trigger pull and has the ability to slam for quick fire. Shotgun has added top and side picatiny rail, MP4 mag adapter and 6 shotgun shells. I'm happy to answer questions or send a video of it in action if required. Each shotgun shell holds 30 rounds or any M4 mid/hi cap mag can be used. happy to post if required£125

Let me spell this out for you in terms you will be able to understand. 1. UPS (or other parcel company) take receipt of your package as part of their business as a parcel company. 2. Another part of their business is acting as a customs agent on behalf of HM Customs. 3. They go through the Customs processes on behalf of HM Customs, levy the appropriate charges etc. 4. This all occurs simultaneous with their handling of your parcel and they have these magnificent things called bonded warehouses were they can store all these imported goods legally till the charges are paid. 5. If something comes to them in their capacity as a courier for which someone has no defence (ie a RIF without a UKARA) they act in their other capacity as a Customs agent (on behalf of HM Customs) and seize the article. Now, all this doesn't occur with every courier. Royal Mail/Parcelforce actually use HM Customs to do this but UPS do it all. This happens because otherwise HM Customs would be inundated with parcels and everything would slow to a crawl. Not too hard to understand is it?

You too are correct that TM can be innovators in that everyone else is copying them, but that innovation is, imo, at least partly driven by competition. It could be argued that it was the rise of the Chinese clones which pushed TM to release the NGRS system. Back when I started playing 21 years ago your choice for AEGs was TM, Classic Army if you wanted to flex on the poors or occasionally ICS. Also you were looking at £30 per magazine. New players can get all the essentials for way less than it cost me Another reason I like having a larger choice of makes is that it opens up the game to a wider market giving us a louder voice if some politician wants to make a name for themselves by wanting to expand on the VCRA

I meant a big warning label, one similar to those "FRAGILE" or "THIS WAY UP" or other supposedly easy to see labels. Although the precise wording is still up for debate. "Pro-forma" RIF declaration: There is a UPS version of RIF declaration form somewhere in this forum you can search for it. I tried to put together a better looking version but I have yet to finalise the format, but essentially it is the same form. Find the UPS version and use that one if you need to fill in a copy. The UKARA# should go in the declaration form. But additionally putting it in the address cannot hurt.

Story of my life mate! 🤣 Yes, you have a fair observation. That said, it could also be argued that TM are the innovators and continue to do so and do very well internationally regardless because of that. I also think that, just say hypothetically the choice arose, some people may rather be stuck with one really good pioneering brand (like TM) than a thousand others that tend to imitate TM anyway. Cheers.

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering
Herrgh replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Electric Guns
hehe yeah . It's cos the parts didn't cost much and I was probably thinking "they MUST make the gun better cos I'm spending money on it". I'll hang onto the stock parts though in case I want to put them back in. -
