Springfield Armoury are the original manufacturer of the real M1 carbine and shut down in 1968. The current company going by the name Springfield Armoury were formed in 1974 and are not related. No real gun manufacturers also make airsoft guns, some may allow it under licence but play no part in production. The closest you'll get is if you buy a umarex walther clone as walther is owned by umarex but even then manufacturer is outsourced to a 3rd party. The description on the link to defcon says airsoft multiple times. It's firing 6mm bbs That's an airgun channel not airsoft, hence its name.

Up for sale is my FDE VFC FNX-45. Comes fitted with a WADSN Surefire XC1 replica, HW RMR and four gas tight magazines. Internally the pistol is virtually stock with the exception of a Psyonic hop rubber, currently set for 0.32s that it hops with plenty to spare. On that, I did some health and safety liability training last century - specifically about how to avoid being sued or charged when things go wrong, as they will. It was drilled in that the worst thing you can do from a liability perspective is to identify a risk, and then put in place inadequate mitigation, because what you're doing is creating the rod that the HSE (or an insurer) will use to beat you. "You claimed that all players must be checked before playing. So run us through how Harry Hotgun evaded your checks and injured Tiny Tim, and why your process failed to anticipate and prevent that." How would you defend pre-game chrono, especially with "Trust me, bro" BB weights? We all know that it's trivial to cheat it, it's not a secret. 🤷♂️ -

An extra half a joule is quite a jump in muzzle energy. Eg putting the full auto limit up to 1.63j would be 418.87fps with a .2g bb. Anyone running a gun that hot deserves said gun to be inserted so far up their arse they choke on the flash hider -

Doing some digging I read that King Arms is a small China based firm and read that Springfield is actually a US based one. I could be wrong! I have just watched this; With it again firing 4.5 steels I saw this too. But it seems to be the same model as the one on defcon no?

I think we can argue this for the next couple of months, but ultimately all sites should be chronoing at the start of the day, on one weight, probably 0.20, and be prepared to have marshals do random on the spot checks using the same weight, especially if particular players have history or complaints made against them. End of the day, cheats WILL cheat, they'll use everything they can to achieve what the perceive to be an advantage over their fellow players, hpa, npas, quick change springs etc all enable them to make short notice changes to energy output after the chrono, & sites can't stop them, but they're letting down their honest clients by not trying their hardest to root out the cheats, & when found they should be very publicly banned. Any site that does that, I'd play there, as was said earlier, it's all about trust so any site that works hard to push that agenda gets my vote. -

The Springfield M1 appears to be a rebrand of the Marushin/King Arms M1 and has been sold as a 4.5mm air gun and a 6mm Airsoft gun, As these links are stating airsoft they both are 6mm

Which is exactly the same situation as at the vast majority of other sites. Intentional cheats will lie about BB weights, use different BBs to chrono and dial up the hop. -

I bought these new at the same time as an SSP5 purchase. Novritsch x2 regular gas mags with extended bases. x1 V3 gas mag with extended base. x1 CO2 mag Armourer Bench x1 CO2 mag. All work perfectly. I've not actually used the gas mags in anger, on in my garage and not at all since fitting the extended bases. The CO2 mags I've used during skirmishes albeit, my ssp5 was only a secondary so again, didn't get used much! All in great condition!£115

Bought new by me from Patrolbase mid February this year. I've used this 4 times. This has been upgraded with a CGS cnc aluminium nozzle, and the flared mag well. All in great condition and its an excellent short and aggressive pdw. I've owned a Ghetto Blaster as well and found this to be a much more fun rif. Original nozzle will go with it as well along with the extras that came with the aluminium nozzle that give adjustability in fps. Selling to change to an NGRS.£395

Any nice ones knocking about.? MUST have the EBR sliding stock, Don’t mind a paint job as long as internally it hasn’t been bummed. If someone has gone through the trouble of upgrading one to site DMR limits happy days. But it won’t be entertained unless it’s functioning perfectly. Not interested in anything that is ‘an easy fix’ because if it is that easy, you should sort it before expecting me to hand cash over. Has anybody got any advice on the Springfield Armory M1 carbine Co2!? I’m trying to understand if the full wood version is only for 4.5mm steels or if the faux wood is for 6mm regular airsoft. Or can it take both!? DefconAirsoft have it listed here; so I would presume it’s 6mm airsoft..
