Just to clarify, rep handguards fit perfectly on the VFC MP5 - I’ve tested it with both the early skinny handguard, as well as the aftermarket surefire one (pictured as proof!). Additionally, VFC is also compatible with all (that I’ve tested so far) real optics and optics rails too, and I’ve tested quite a niche range. Side note- if anyone is after the burst lower, I’ve got the original one off my MP5 that I’d be willing to dig out and part with.

Perun AB++ MOSFET showing steady purple LED
Lord_Mandrake replied to Lord_Mandrake's topic in Electric Guns
Thanks for trying to help, however the answer you found refers to the programming modes, not the error codes that I'm asking about. The MOSFET is not starting up at all when the battery is connected, therefore, it has detected an unspecified error, indicated by a solid purple light. -

Perun AB++ MOSFET showing steady purple LED

Took about 30 seconds to google this... No sound signal while LED glows purple means, that the DMR mode is disabled. https://perunairsoft.pl/abplusplus.pdf -
Hi all, having some trouble with my M4 AEG. Usually, when I connect the battery, the Perun AB++ flashes green for a few seconds then beeps once loudly with a solid green light = good to go. However, it now just shows a constant purple light and never does its usual handshake with the motor. I've checked the diagnostics codes in the manual but it doesn't mention a solid purple light. Can anyone help?

I believe the handguard and possibly the m203 is from the specna arms m16 model like this one that was recently listed - Today

Yep, been there. However, it was with the holy grail to some, the Retro Arms AR15 CNC hop unit. I bought two of them and the first shock was their internal finishing which had burs here and there, but easily sorted. They were ever so slightly too long though in four AEG's I tried them in, with the upper never going back on properly (both metal and polymer receivers), other than in a G&G Firehawk. The Maxx Model M4A-PRO though, hated by Reddit, fits perfectly in every AEG I put one in, but had to change the nozzle in all of them to get the best out of them.

Been tinkering with my recent boneyard Specna One series M4 (still unsure of the exact model, but the externals are very nice, think it's an E&C OEM). It came with the old style metal 3-gear hop unit. When I tried to fit my preferred ZCI rotary plastic hop, it sits a tiny bit further back in the upper when fully seated into the outer barrel, making it impossible to close up the lower (albeit only by a couple of mm, but no amount of shoving will allow them to close). I've measured both hops with my verniers and overall outer dimensions are the same, just with differences in the shape and position of various protrusions. Hard to make out from the attached image but the outer barrel has quite a lot of profiling going on, presumably to ensure a secure fit but possibly the source of my issues. I don't want to take a Dremel to it, I'd rather find something that just fits. I suspect the answer to this is just 'airsoft tolerances innit' so I'll have to play the parts roulette to find something that fits. Maybe I should try the newer Specna blue rotary hop, better chance they have engineered it to fit all their receivers?

Indeed, NGRS are held only on the front pin. And the solid stock is only done by 3rd party and aren't the cheapest thing on the planet so you would mention that in the add. Also the mags are regular AEG mags, not NGS. NGRS EPM mags don't have the hump around the top of the feed lips. I therefore put it to you, m'lud, that this is a regular AEG, a NGRS shoe horned into a regular body, or one of those short lived 3rd party recoil kits added

To QD or not to QD (Advice on QD sling points)

The original Uncle Mike's QD swivel has been made since 1947, and still sells well. Different to the modern design though. -

Lord; how I missed playing this!!! After a 13 hour drive home from Findhorn Bay on Thursday, and with the rather brilliant Burston Rally being on the Sunday, I really couldn't face another long drive when another good event was only 30 minutes away. I'll be back for Cajun Chicken next month though. PM me if you need an invite. I'll be there with The Boy and possibly Keith, famous for wearing his loadout all weekend as he brought no other clothes. He got a few looks in the pub Friday afternoon, dressed as a PAVN infantry officer complete with pith helmet... -

From what I can see online the NGRS guns don't have the same easily breakable tabs as the old AEGs. I think they've put a load of random parts together in the hope they can sell it to some poor unsuspecting person who doesn't know better -
