Chest Rig & Belt - Layouts and Suggestions
Jacob Wright replied to Kha0s's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
This is my set-up, I have added pouches into both Molle sections, but as I don't tend to use the utility pouches on the outside for anything heavy or large it doesn't get too weighed down. I also find that a well set up chest-rig spreads the weight a bit better. -

The classics are so for a reason! Me, I also just use a cheapo that looks 80's ish (those cold war games). But then at skirmish weekends I have Marshalls for time keeping duties...

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Jaylordofwaargh replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
Spent my Sunday in the protected valley of the Dragon Lair. All in a decent site with a couple of limitations, the team are friendly and welcoming, safe zone is well covered and they are still improving the site to create more game play spaces. It's even easy to get to if you ignore the £25 in public transport and cab fees....for the day, which I don't mind (too much). The no bang grenade sucks but they do have a toxic gas rule to aid the balance of that, and they are on hotel grounds, so I get it. Speaking of the hotel- they serve lunch, a good size pizza and garlic chips for the boy and I to share, bargain really. The games themselves were mostly well thought out, and the medic rules they used for some of the games worked really well. I did try flanking on the left valley edge aiming for the plane with a small group to recover the gold. However we got held up by a couple of really determined and very well placed lads kept halting our advance. There are a couple of choke points that fuel to shape and size of site are tough to break but all together good fun. I will be back -

Li-ion battery in g&g and E&L guns
Adolf Hamster replied to Svendogg's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
My gut feeling is it'll be too tight to fit in the gas tube of the e&l, although it might go under the dust cover. -

CM050 airsoft AEG used. Fully working. Selling it as no longer finding the time to play. Has been downgraded by the shop I purchased it from to 330fps https://youtube.com/shorts/jpzPP1lKBv8?si=u0QVhAGKPThd80Cc A replica of the Romanian version of assault rifle which design is based on a Soviet equivalent. The characteristic feature of this version is folding stock and frontgrip, which has a handle. Elements of wood are a high-quality plywood- much more stronger than usual wood. Body, along with folding stock, the lid lock, fire selector, magazine, fittings and catch hold of the gas pipes are made of steel. Cocking lever, outer barrel, along with spot sights, the front part of the body of elbow and pipe gas are made of metal. Pistol grip is plastic. Inside is the metal hop up chamber. The kit includes: -CM050 AEG -High capacity mag -Battery 1200mAh LIPO 2S 7.4V – has been in storage for 6 months so will need a charge but as you can see in the test video it’s firimg the AEG just fine Will double check delivery cost and confirm based on your postcode.£225

Is it a full gas bottle you're carrying or one of those little refillable ones? I'm tempted to do the same but my local site (certainly used to) usually run relatively short games so I'd probably be fine to just re-gas at the safe zone between rounds - the pistol will just be a backup really. Definitely get what you mean about the danger of trying to fill space for the sake of it and then ending up lugging around a bunch of unnecessary weight. Same principle applies ethical hiking/backpacking, so makes sense!
