TBH the vest isn't worth as much as the plate IMO, I paid £39 for a bulk set of 10 with no plates. Pop it on fleabay on a 10 day auction & you'll get the best price people will pay.

So, I got pee’d off with the fact that I couldn’t figure it out, so off to Kingdom Of Airsoft it went…. A few things amounted to the problems I was experiencing It looks like I forgot to put back in the small washer/spacer that sits on top of the pinion gear, causing a bit of chewing So replacement gears fitted Tappet plate was apparently gubbed too, so replaced Previous owner had fitted Deans connection, and the solder was “questionable” But probably, the real main cause of my issue was down to me…. The battery wires come along, under the buffer tube, and there is very little space and a finnikety job to get them in under the castle nut Looks like I may have damaged the insulation, causing it to contact something metal 🤦🏻‍♂️ Its been away almost two months, and making its way back soon, in time for some winter use 🤞

I don't have anything major to add or life changing, but I know a mate who used JUSTCOS. He did also have UKARA at the time but did it just to see if it works and Airsoft World and Fire Support (as far as I know) take it.

After speaking to the rest of the guys no one can remember about a person shooting us up close with a pistol other than one person dressed as a USSR adviser, so either you arnt talking about us or maybe you are exaggerating a little More than half our group play at other Gunman events and game days, play with marshals regularly and am certain Josh is the kind of guy to call out a group and pull us to the side if he believed something was going on, we played along side player marshals and the marshal with the camera, no one spoke to us so I believe either you are not talking about us or maybe having a little classic Airsoft exaggeration whinge in what way do you mean “speshul forces”? What made you think that? Elaborate please

Seems AliExpress has recently changed their policy, almost all of the Airsoft content is now being hidden on the app and googling it and going to the link gives a message stating it can’t be shipped to the UK. Hopefully the change isn’t permanent as it was nice to get cheap pouches and stuff from there!

Based on your initial post in this thread and your responses, I don't think he was far off the mark. You probably need to grow up a bit and stop being a dick.

I chopped a barrel down and re-crowned it late Saturday night ready for game day on Sunday and got an almost factory finish using a large centre drill bit to get the crown shape and a chamfer tool to smooth out the chatter marks. Easy as pie and took about 10 mins all in. Filing the notches larger to fit in the hop unit took considerably longer. I'll snap a pic tomorrow of the crown and bits used. You'll need a proper chamfering bit for metal on a stainless barrel, I got away with a wood tool as it was a plated brass barrel.

The only TM stuff they currently have is the Saiga and Double Eagle clone, but still worth checking out.

Seems I struck a nerve 🤣 And yes, I'm calling it as I saw it on the day and with these responses I'm definitely not retracting my statement. There were so many complaints on the Saturday and they were all about your group. If it was just me, I'd have made assumptions that I wasn't hitting, or I was just getting unlucky etc, but since there were numerous complaints, from all different people (on both the NVA and some on the US side), all about the same group, I was far more confident in my assessment. Your response just reinforces it. Funnily enough, the non-hit taking from your group that I observed was not from my rifle, but from my pistol up close. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, but with so many anecdotes on the day from so many different people, and now with your reaction, what am I supposed to think? Also, Eversley Alpha is a fantastic site to snipe at if you know where to play. The last Vietnam game I played there I had a field day in that valley, but the way it happened to be set up this time around made getting there significantly more difficult for the NVA side. The bog and the middle parts of the site are awful for sniping, and that is where we happened to be. If I knew how the game would flow, I would've just used my MWS, but funnily enough, you have to play the game to work out how it will flow. And if you'd actually read what I wrote, you'd have seen that I specifically said that "a group of shitty players" was exactly not the reason why I didn't enjoy myself and admitted that it was a mix of other factors without any blame but myself (and a little bit on the guy in my group who dropped out (for no real reason, and at the 11th hour) and left us short-handed for how we usually play)

Reserve cleats for good ground - they aid grip on the right surface but can grip too well and turn an ankle (Ive seen people run, turn and left their foot grip in place trying to go in a different direction) For variable surfaces it must be something with good ankle support, chunky soles help but as Lyndication noted deep sloppy mud is sloppy mud In my tournament photography days I wore astro football boots for astro turf (chosen by a football mum and turned out perfect on good turf) For grass I would use dedicated paintball cleats (actually close to golf shoes) with a range of changeable studs - they included asto studs but I never fitted those as football mums know best These were great on the grass and mud but the studs stabbed into the soles of my feet on the gravel paths For anywhere else boots are the right answer * I would not have spent money on those cleats, but a copyright infringement when a manufacturer publishes an advertising campaign using an uncredited meme of your photo works wonders for copyright compensation 😉
