GHK pen loader works well, as does the auto bot. Found a vid and ended up doing it to my M4 mags think the Glock will get the same treatment aswell when I can get around to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH0VaIF408s&ab_channel=CoolDown

I find the standard marui speed loader is much better than the one supplied. Keeping it angled and pressed down hard seems to work for me.

Ah, so I've taken a look at the bottom of the battery compartment and it doesn't have the rubber bumper or the springs so I'm guessing this is where the issue lies.

Yeah, no Unless you're willing to show me proof of this recorded conversation, I'm calling bullshit and locking your thread AGAIN

Not sure if there's an "owners thread" on this pistol? I've just picked one up and few queries/comments. The first being how the hell do you load these? I've tried angling the supplied speed loader as illustrated in the manual but really struggling to get more than one or two BB's at a time in. The only other GKH gun I've owned before was a G5 and remember they had a similar (the same?) speed loader attachment. However I don't remember having this issue to such a degree. Other than that I'm pretty impressed so far. The kick is not as snappy as the TM version (I guess that should be obvious, comparing to a plastic slide) but the recoil is definitely stronger. Overall this definitely isn't one for the "speedi boi's" but seems top notch for collecting, training, plinking etc. Also, I don't like putting unnecessary wear on my stuff, so don't do it too much but I must say, racking the slide is addictive. Unlike TM and VFC Glock's, there's no roller to get over, so it's smooth all the way but like a real pistol, it won't go back into battery unless you give it a nice sharp full pull back and release.

I seem to remember that some of the guns were very distinctive, do you have photos of them that you could produce if you find them up for sale. Even then you will probably need the police to attend as I can’t see them being handed back willingly, especially if the dealer paid for them him or herself. If violence erupts your just as likely to get arrested as the other party. I wish you luck getting your stuff back, but don’t let it lead to violence, walk away if things get nasty.

At the bottom of the battery compartment is a leaf spring or a rubber bumper with two springs in . Yank it out with something pointy pointy sticky sticky, give it a clean with alcohol (some good 90% isopropyl stuff) and ether give the leaf spring a slight ben toward the sight or the two smaller springs a slight stretch. Then pull the rubber bumper off the sight side remove the two metal plugs and springs and do the same (will need some form of adessive to stick the bumper back on under the emitter) If that fails its the electronics and the older modals are no longer supported and would cost more to fix than buy a new one most likely. Eotech did a guide it seems https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eued-5m1zR8&ab_channel=EOTECH

I was wondering about this too. The by the book way seems very long winded. There's an interesting video on YouTube by a guy that had his car broken into (I think) and various items stolen. I think he was a photographer or bird watcher or something. He found his camera tripod for sale in a cash converters type place shortly after and documented the insane loops to go through to get it back. I suppose someone could say "this is mine, it was stolen. I'm taking it. He's my contact details should you wish to query it or I'm happy to wait and speak to the police now and you can talk to them about handling stolen goods". You can't steal what you already own I suppose. One for Blackbelt Barrister perhaps.

I've just come into possession of a genuine Eotech, however it needs some kind of servicing or repairs done to it regarding the battery compartment and battery contacts. I believe the model is a Eotech 511 but not entirely sure. Can anyone point me in the direction of any tech who can perhaps help get this working?

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Anonymoose replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
So after deciding not to spend too much on the new 417 right away.. i bought a new inner barrel, a new M100 Spring, a scope, a bipod, and two 500mm pieces of raw ally bar/tube to make a silencer for it. I can't be trusted with money. -
No no no. He got permission from the police, remember? "Deal with it as you see fit." He has it recorded, it's basically a warrant. Errr, right? 😕

Unfortunately not, because the buffer tube has a stonking great spring in it that extends the stock. Most of the rest of the stock is taken up by various other gubbins as well. -
The police do not routinely check the career history of alleged victims of crime; that is my experience from being a victim of serious crime and from supporting people who have been victims of crime, and I checked it this evening with a serving police officer. Realistically, the only way they would know would be if you have told them at some point. So, let's say you rock up to the boot fair and demand that the stallholder returns the allegedly stolen goods; the stallholder says "Mate, I bought these from a guy I met in the pub." At that point, how are you going to prove that they are your allegedly stolen items? Do they have something distinctive about them that you can describe to the organisers before getting anywhere near the stall holder? If you have not, you are going to be out of luck.

Assuming you can prove it's yours, & the seller has enough of what was taken still in his possession to match your crime report. Even then, you're assuming he'll roll over & say something like "it's a fair cop guv, fill yer boots", or alternatively he claims he paid good money for them & tells you to do one, will you then be forced to rely on the local plod to turn up, given that they've previously blown you out apparently.
