I like the idea of a lightweight GBBR for a lot of players though the transparent polymer receiver is bizarre to me. It also looks like there's some sort of ZET plate while the mag looks like a VFC design.
Lyndication Posted Wednesday at 21:34 Posted Wednesday at 21:34 Oh God, one bad fall with that MistakenMexican, Lozart and Galvatron 3

MrTea Posted Wednesday at 22:28 Posted Wednesday at 22:28 (edited) A transparent GBB receiver? That's pretty cool to be able to see everything working as it fires but I doubt it'd stand up to any prolonged use/abuse. Edited Wednesday at 22:45 by MrTea

rj1986 Posted Thursday at 08:13 Posted Thursday at 08:13 I think this is the stage up from throwing BB's at your opposition. HZR13 1

I know they say looks are subjective but christ on a bike that stock has been beaten with the ugly stick HZR13 and Galvatron 2
Supporters Lozart Posted Friday at 08:40 Supporters Posted Friday at 08:40 That's the thing with plastic. Just because it's clear doesn't mean it'll be any less strong. Also -
Lyndication Posted Friday at 11:21 Posted Friday at 11:21 I mean, no, there's different kinds of plastic. You can't make transparent Fibre Reinforced Nylon this cheap, which is basically what you want for half decent durability in a GBB. It's likely to be transparent ABS, at best polycarbonate. The former is crap, the latter is unlikely because it'd be pretty expensive. Also it's gonna look hideous after it scratches tbh.

You're right, of course but my point was it's no less strong than any other ABS airsoft gun. I know airsoft manufacturers like to throw "polymer" in there like it's some magic kind of alchemy but it's usually just ABS.

AEGs it tends to be ABS because they're cheap and there's not much mechanical stress. In GBBs it needs to ideally be FRN or something a bit tougher because it's getting rattled more. It's why the KWA and TM MP7s eventually crack their receivers but the VFC holds.

Seems like a good amount of educational value in that, as you can see things working (or not working). but as others have said. Fragile.
