Moderators Tackle Posted Friday at 15:57 Moderators Share Posted Friday at 15:57 Hey Guys, Thought I'd share, I received an angry pm from the op, which I responded to, explaining how things generally are here & why the thread rapidly went downhill, & that thread derailment, while common here, usually has a better outcome. As you can see, his response was measured, rational, & apologetic, & he ended it with "he'll keep his head down". Thing is, as a forum, I've never met a better bunch of more helpful guys, yes we never miss an opportunity to wind up or mickey take, but it's always with the best intentions. His response to ribbing was a knee jerk reaction, something we've all been guilty of at some time, but no one should feel they can't participate here, so let's move on 🍻 So anybody actually had hands on with the aforementioned aeg ? Does it make it a better AEG? Obviously not. I won't stand for any of this *checks notes* ..actually having an understanding of how this business work and operates. Is PTS's "magic faery dust" genuinely worth £170? I'd rather buy a £180 DE M900 and spend £80 on replacing it's weaker parts. My thoughts too. I get the PTS AEG has that licensing premium and it has a high-torque motor but I don't see the benefit over a DE M904/M906 series AEG with a couple of upgrades at its price. There's no mention of a tight-bore barrel either so I assume the PTS AEG doesn't have one. Tackle
rj1986 Posted yesterday at 07:20 Share Posted yesterday at 07:20 Is PTS the actual OEM of this, or is it just another mid range M4 in a frock with designer labels?
Supporters TheFull9 Posted yesterday at 11:58 Supporters Share Posted yesterday at 11:58 Far as I know PTS don't own any factory space. The original Masadas were Ares, probably the PDRs, possibly even the original FPGs though that one's chinese whispers. Various AEGs and GBBRs by KWA over the year, other AEGs by CYMA more recently.. list goes on. No idea about the various plastic accessories or handguards etc etc, they might be from entirely nameless factories that airsofters have never heard of. Most brand names we see down the end of the road at the actual retailers do this to at least some extent, if not entirely in some cases.
