Can anyone recommend a courier who will transport a gas pistol to Republic of Ireland? Royal Mail/Parcel Force won’t due to the gas magazines. Thanks.

If the magazine is empty I don’t understand why they wouldn’t accept it?

Unfortunately there aren’t many/any companies who will happily carry them. Possibly Hermes?

That was definitely my understanding of it.

Not necessarily so these days

Thanks to those who falsely declared in the past, regulations cover ‘pressure vessels’ as opposed to ‘pressurised’

If routes include air mail then they cannot carry pressure vessels

It all comes down to the specifics of prohibited and restricted items, you need a method that handles it as restricted and to comply with the requirements

If you take the fill valve out completely then it's no longer a pressure vessel same as my mega flow wouldn't hold pressure if I took all the pipe work off of it.

Stretching a point I know but worth a try?

Make sure it’s les than 1J, if it isn’t and Eire customs seize it you’ll lose out. It’s also crazy expensive

Glennie is in the north, the op is talking about sending it to Eire, the south.

Personally I'd be reluctant to ship to either areas 🤔
