Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted November 28, 2020 Supporters Share Posted November 28, 2020 Had a great one last week, a push/fallback style game where the attacking team had to find a car battery, push up to the car and start the engine. I'm a fan of fallback games in general, nice and simple rules (although plenty of folk can still fail to get their head around even that) but the game doesnt get bogged down the same way as a fixed respawn game tends to. Sounds like fun. I'm very new to Airsoft. I like the idea of well thought out games.
Shamal
Find and capture/free,hvt(high value target) and return to evac point or safe zone.hvt must be escorted by two team member who must have one hand on hvt at all times. If one escort is hit his place must be taken by another team member.if both escorts do loose contact on hvt he can leg it back to oppfor if he was a capture. Good game and you have to put trust in your path finding team members and also those watching your six. Regards

Iceni
We had one a few years ago where the Army Cadets had turned out en-masse. They all wanted to play as a single team, and it was proven over the course of the day that they were absolutely useless. In order to keep them happy the marshals selected 5 guys who were known for having decent guns and using range. That consisted of me and my shooting bud and 3 playing marshals. We instantly demanded that the guy dressed in full WW2 German gear who was using an MP40 and Luger was added to the team. So the 6 of us were given the brief: Cadet team is escorting the VIP, They can only stick to paths and can only go 2 meters either side of those paths. They have the numbers and the firepower. Spawning will be buddy spawn if not under fire, or the starting point. Guerilla team is to slow them down, We could spawn from any boundary, and had free reign over the full site. Well the 6 of us absolutely pounded them. They moved in a big block, None pushed hard, None assaulted. They were hoping that they could take us out one at a time at range. The first contact point we selected was actually well into the middle of the play area, and we ambushed them for 3 flanks using deep cover, They all fell to the ground and we were just lobbing BB's over them so none could re-spawn.... Eventually a couple of us died and went to re-spawn. In that time my shooting partner and the German had held them and actually started to push them back..... The marshals then asked us to let them push a little and pulled us all back so they could see the final objective...... We killed them to the man and won what was supposed to be an easy win for them... We had a great game, The Cadets less so.

Yeah. I'd like to think people will call their hits. I'm still yet to play the game. 1 hour ago, Iceni said: We had one a few years ago where the Army Cadets had turned out en-masse. GAMBLE
Interesting.... anything fun on a skirmish day! 🤔 For me so far this year, with the limited time I’ve had to play, due to the virus? It would be my first and only time at Incursion Airsoft, getting 3 machete kills and got the footage! 🗡🤪👍 There is more.... but not very often at the moment with melee weapons! 😂 💷GAMBLE💷
Steveocee
Group of about 60 of us. Gave a bomb to a group of 20, bomb made very loud noise every 10 mins. Very large woodland. Group were told to make themselves scarce for 60Mins. Our job was locate and retreive bomb. Doesn't sound that awesome but it was fantastic, total free roam of the woods and creative license to either lay in wait or go full bore searching. This is my experience of most cadets, sure I've seen a few who had their heads screwed, on but the vast majority have been as useful as tits on a nun. To get back on topic, I tend to prefer the more simple games as there's always one who doesn't understand what's going on (usually because they didn't pay attention in the briefing). One that stands out to be was where one team had a bag of 3 "bombs" and had to get the bomb carrier to 3 locations to "demolish" targets. Only the designated player could carry and plant the bombs and the way the 3 targets were spread out it meant you could be engaged from any direction
