Parttimeplinker
Thanks to forums like this and others there is a healthy second hand airsoft market for those on a budget or just starting out. Or even those who just can’t stop buying more kit (you know who you are😀) So what has been your best/favourite second hand bargain? I’ll kick things off with a recent purchase of mine, a Krytac M4 SPR. It’s a mk1 but it is absolutely mint in box. And an absolute bargain at £225. I love it👍

EDcase
Quite a few bargains from our classifieds but the best one has to be... This little baby from a film armorer for £55. Classic Army all metal and shoots really well. Apparently used in the first Jason Bourne film but no way to confirm that of course. I just had to get a motor for it as it didn't have one for legal reasons.
Supporters Druid799 Posted October 11, 2020 Supporters Share Posted October 11, 2020 TM recoil AK74su , guy had won it in a firesupport competition , he was well over 6ft and weighed near 20st and said it was way too small for him , has to be said it did look like a toy in his hands 😂. Gave him £250 for it (even still had the dangly tag on the trigger guard !) and two hi-caps . Still got it it’s never been cracked open still totally stock bar a deans . Who’d have thought ? 🤔 a TM recoil that hasn’t been f**ked about with and here we are 12yrs later and it’s still running fine . Funny that ? 😉

Iceni
G&G GR300 shorty. Was given to me because it had a few parts missing - Gearbox, pistol grip, iron sights. The rest was in bits. The thing took a fair chunk of pocket change to be right. And I put a solid stock on it because I wanted it rear wired and running on block li-po's. Even with the cost of putting it right I don't think I could replace it, It's got a magnesium body and is an absolute joy to shoot.
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted October 12, 2020 Supporters Share Posted October 12, 2020 Is there a reason the rear iron is halfway down the reciever?

It's supposed to be a wire stock M4 variant with the buffer mounted over the barrel and upper rather than in the stock. With a wire stock on the Irons need to be forwards.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LR-
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted October 12, 2020 Supporters Share Posted October 12, 2020 Cant see why the stock would make a difference? Sight radius is sight radius....
