I am still new and I’m building my first loadout as I enjoyed sniper when I got to try it, but are there any upgrades or essentials that are missing from here?

I play forest first and foremost, no urban and any buildings are made of wood

I would also like some suggestions on getting a kit to make my own  Ghillie suit at an affordable price

thanks for the help

That scope doesn't come with scope rings so when it arrives you won't be able to attach it to the rifle.

The pistol will likely fire far too hot for UK sites 330 fps plus 10 percent. Go for something green gas.

I would also be getting an AEG as that Sniper rifle will be pretty useless without upgrades.

I personally wouldn’t recommend a sniper for your first rifle/role in Airsoft.

It’s not for everyone and you really need to spend a lot of time and effort getting your rifle outranging most decent Aeg’s and players.

But your list:

Boots, you need decent footwear.

Deadrag, is this needed? No sites I have played at uses one!

Mask, I always recommend a face mask for any player, of course if your over 18 it’s your choice not to wear one but I personally wouldn’t play without one.

As for building a ghillie suit I would watch lots of YouTube videos. That is the best guide really, lots of options and techniques to making a decent one.

Thought about doing my own but realised I couldn’t be bothered :D

Boots are in there, the way I see it it’s deadrag or dead arm, I own 2 different face masks (gas mask and mesh) I know the videos but I know there are kits you can buy too

Curious; when you say you tried a "sniper' rifle. Did you actually play a game with it or fired a couple of shots?

I played a half day with my friend’s rifle which “isn’t firing straight” (worked fine for me)

That's cool. If you played a game then you got a feel for it.

If you only fired a few shots I'd of said it's quite different tracking live targets.

Most sites don’t check side arms but even so I can use the range for each mag to make them less “hot” or so I was told by some people on the weekend recently

and upgrades? That’s nice it’ll keep me busy, if I want an AEG I’ll just pay the extra £10 for now

Almost all the sites I've played (30 plus) check all CO2 pistols, they also only let you chrono with fresh c02 bulbs yo not cheat the chrono.

There is no really good reason to get C02 over green gas.

I'd get a cheaper side arm, just one pistol mag, cheaper scope (vortex are nice but starting out not needed, or full stop to be fair) and throw as much as extra into the rifle as possible.

Ive never seen a co2 leak but I’ve experienced green gas leak. My main reason

Money isn’t the issue though my current knowledge of upgrading the rifle is an issue, also seeing these suggestions on changing sidearms but not knowing much about sidearms beyond my experience with leaky GG Pistols.. it would be nice for a suggestion on a reliable pistol.

Edit: please don’t misunderstand this reply I’m very grateful for the help but I’m literally scratching my head here

If money isn't an issue then go SSG24 OR SRS for the rifle, no tinkering needed out of the box apart from maybe a spring change on the SRS. Side arm wise go Tokyo marui mk23.

I can’t buy the SSG or SRS on Patrol Base where I’m buying all my stuff to arrive by this weekend. But I might just get The Mk23, it wasn’t in stock when I last checked

Also, I want to upgrade my own eventually but right now I’m more focused on getting started

Sorry bud, however that is nonsense. With regular maintenance (which is totally minimal) neither will leak.

If kept clean and stored correctly, it's little more than a drop of silicon every now and then for a mag powered by either gas. Over a long period of time it's possible a seal may give out but that (IME) is rare and usually from poor maintenance/storage.

BTW I have about 40 gas powered shooters powered by both gases.

The ASG MK23 is in stock: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/asg-mk23-socom-airsoft-pistol-with-silencer

And can be upgraded later if and when funds allow (I understand that you're financing this).  Not as much fun as GBB, but cheap, quiet,  cheap, gas efficient,  cheap, and can be TDC hopped to shoot heavy ammo.  It's the default budget sniper sidearm.  Did I mention it was cheap?

Currently have the TM Mk23 in basket, removed the Shadow and will update later downside it no mags in stock

Fair enough, that's the default flash sniper sidearm. ;)

It comes with 3 mags (commendable) and you can fit a 100 round speedloader into a pistol / sniper mag pouch.  I'd say that's a viable load if it's the gun that you actually want.

The safety is reducing the pressure on the co2 at least that’s what I was told is best to do if you’re dedicated to co2,

And what happens when you need a new bulb? Grow up bud

I need to grow up? I’m not the one berating someone because they don’t know better than what they’ve heard people say in the safe zones of airsoft sites from people they don’t know.

”what if you need a new bulb?” Change to one of the other 4 mags until returning to the safe zone or just shoot a nearby tree both can have the same effect.

That is so wrong on many levels and pure guesswork. Either get one that fires in the legal limits or go green.

And you'll be wasting so much gas killing the bulb it's a false economy.

Whoever gave you this advice on Co2 is only giving bad advice. I'm trying to be polite. They're talking BS.

Consider who you are shooting, not just about the pistol and cheating the chrono.
