Cant see any site allowing you to use any homemade smoke/pyro device.

Everything has to be covered by insurance.

I expect that the retail smokes that airsofters buy are designed to burn cold, that is a safe burn producing quality smoke without setting fire to the grass / carpet they are thrown on. The last thing you want is a homemade smoke grenade setting fire to a site or another player.

Note, what happened actually has nothing to do with airsoft when you get down to it.

As Trigger said it's unlikely any site will allow them. Sites would run into issues with them being a fire hazard, possibly toxic and players could make something weighty enough that underarm throws need to be enforced.
