This is the charming reply I got from the seller:

Wouldnt cover the postage, packaging and fees, do you get many free guns? I could just through it in the bin for the sake of 34p i'd get from your serious offer >.> am going to seriously reject that, but thanks for taking the time, to waste my time and hopefully you dont live much longer if this is how you spend your life...

Apart from an attitude that explains why his relationship broke down, how does he not understand that it is going to cost money in parts and labour to restore the gun to having working safe fire setting?

He's been told multiple times every time he posts the advert but just won't listen. If he's who I think he is then we've met and the ex is better off without

The rifle itself is impractical, it's a fun platform but will need loads of immediate work. £500 though????

I guess being signed by Linda Hamilton makes it a genuine collectors piece for a terminator fan. I imagine it could realistically make that in a specialist sale

I think most serious terminator fans would probably go for that strictly as a wall hangar...

I’ll admit that I was taking the piss by making the offer; however, I was somewhat surprised by his response.  I do wonder what has gone so wrong in his life to make him the way he is.

 

As I am a bit of a c**t, I have prodded him again by raising the offer to £15.
