Rare guns you've seen or would like to see

Been thinking about a lot of guns that have either been made and are rare to see or guns that have never or may never be made into an airsoft version.

First up would be the H&K VP 70M, the first polymer-framed pistol, made in the 70's and predates the Glock 17.

Resident Evil fans might have noticed it as the main handgun for Leon in RE2.

Would love to get my hands on one with the stock which adds a 3-short burst fire mode.

Yes there is an airsoft version made with the stock and yes it was used in Aliens :P

Calico M100

Strange machine pistol that could be fitted or come with either a short or long barrel turning into a rifle.

Used for the weapons in Spaceballs.

Has a strange spiral-fed magazine located on the top of the gun.

Also featured in RE: Code Veronica (the M110 version)

Anyone seen any rarities on the battlefield or seen a gun they should make an airsoft version of?

I saw a G11 in an RAF base somewhere up north when I was 11-12, and held a real MG42 while living in Pakistan.

G11 I can't see anyone ever making into an airsoft rifle, there have been a couple of MG42's, but nothing really affordable.

Pretty sure there was an airsoft calico. It was probably a classic though so would be hard to find and very expensive.

I'd love a bushmaster m17s, I just think it looks so cool. asahi made one but again, would be near impossible to find and probably cost a good couple of grand if you could.

I would also love a gbbr G3 but that's not exactly rare :P

The G11 reminds me of a mini M202 Flash.

And there is indeed an airsoft version of the Calico made in the 80's and uses an external Co2 gas supply.

Would be undoubtedly hard to get as I believe they were made in the US. As it's considered a classic airsoft gun there is no doubt it would fetch a high price...

I know that it holds around 1000 BB's and uses a spiral-like mag as the real steel version would. Has full-auto, semi-auto and burst fire and according to a review can compete with most AEG's today.

A 328FPS GBB Pistola Makarova

I thought there was bound to be one; it's an iconic pistol after all. But no...

An airsoft MG42/MG3. Have there actually been any official airsoft MG42s?

I saw and got to play with a GBB (external gas kit) Stirling SMG a while back. Really archaic piece of airsoft history, I'm barely 4 years older than it!

Would absolutely love to see the SMG brought into airsoft (again). 2 reasons:

1)It's a Stirling, why not?
2)Easy to convert into a Star Wars blaster pistol :D

After being given the chance to play around with an EM-1 (not the EM-2) and an XL64 (e5 IIRC), I'd really love to see one (or both) of those brought into airsoft. But, I think I'm more likely to see Hell freeze over than see someone make either of those into airsoft replicas...

I suppose my TM SPAS-12 is rare since it has the original folding stock :)

Pretty sure Marui make an Uzi AEG, I saw one on Wolf a while ago. What I'd really like to see is the 1st MP5K model made with the old steel foregrip:

Or maybe a Mateba Unica Auto-revolver? Instead of the trigger turning the cylinder the recoil did:

This would be easily transferrable to a GBB version

I've always thought the Welrod looks like one of those home made guns, captured from various insurgencies we Brits put down, that you can see in the Imperial War Museum.

Yeah, an AA12 that fires goblin cartridges would be excellent. It'd need a QD shell catcher cage though - off for vids, on for play :)

I'd also like to see an RPG7 that fires a foam tipped, compressed air/water rocket with a CO2 powered bang inside it...

Marushin's already made one, but they're hard to find

Problem with the Groza is that the selector's on the side of the weapon away from the operator. If you wanted to go from safe to semi/full auto you'd have to turn the weapon over leaving you vulnerable. This isn't a problem with the AK47 but the selector on that is forward of the trigger, not 11cm or so behind it.

OTs-14 Groza possibly, it looks so interesting and small... And in real life even with its size and the gun itself being bullpup it fires 7.62x39...

Nu uh it fires 9x39 MOFO Jesus get it right uggghhhh.

Its chambered for 7.62x39 and 9x39... What is the point of acting like mad "IF" someone made a mistake...? And Im completely sure I did not make one.

Groza-4 is chambered for 9x39 and Groza-1 is for 7.62x39. Plus 9x39 is based on 7.62x39

The anger was sarcasric dude... We all make mistakes. But I'd have the 9x39 over the 7.62x39 any day :D
