Hi and welcome, If you want to get into sniping I recommend buying a JG BAR 10 from Taiwan gun for £75 + p&p. then look at ASPUK, they sell some good value sniper upgrades that will make your rifle perform at a competitive level and 500fps. you can send it to them and they will upgrade for you, however i suggest doing it your self i recently upgraded my JG BAR 10 and its very very simple. L96's are also very up-gradable ASPUK also sells various parts for those aswell, the best model is probably the TM L96 but I think the WELL one is 'ok'.

quite a few people use them as a cold weather side arm. I hear theyre pretty good but never used one myself. like duck said 10-15m youll probably be okay for range

I wouldnt bother with that, you can get a JG bar 10 from taiwain gun for £75 that is 100% tm compatible and no doubt a better gun then that svd.

i would say MP5 aswell, or maybe a CYMA ak74u if you want something a bit different

you could try a JG BAR 10 if you want a decent spring rifle. theyre very easy to upgrade aswell if you want to get into the sport

they all use the same internals its just what style you like most

i would stay away from ares.... m4 for £300, a g&g top tech is probably your best bet.......

just book a rental day (if u go to bilericay i highly recomend getting the AK-47 over all the other guns), see if you like it or not.... there are new players every week so dont worry

hi im from southend, the best site in south essex is probably bilericay skirmish. you could also try dragons lair if its closer. go to a bootcamp day and 40-50% of people going are rentals. if you go to a "pro-am" day there is usually no rentals

I have bought a lot of stuff recently, JG BAR 10 £77 from Taiwan gun DangerWerx High Engagement Hop up lever, type-b - £22 from ASPUK Some finger-less gloves with padded knuckles - £12 Mesh goggles because i want to try out mesh -£7 CVLIFE 3-9-40x scope, seems like a bargain for £18 Rifle wrap tape x 2 £8 Viper belt - £9 some guarder .3's - £5 huge gun back (fits the vsr and my g33 and my m9 with all my 6 mags) from tawain gun for about £17 20mm vsr 10 rail - £18~ soo expensive going to buy an EZ trigger when itsin stock at ASPUK and cylinder and upgrade to a M150 spring for 500fps

hi welcome, You could buy a 7.6 lipo bat if you want but would also need a smart charger which costs a bit more. .2's are usually cheaper than .25's but if youre shooting around 350fps .25 will give you a bit more range. my main AEG shoots about 290 at the moment so I use .2's. If you have a local army & navy they sell all sorts of surplus military grade clothing. also if you dont have you should get some boots if youre playing outdoors

The JG BAR 10 has a sort of rubber exterior, im wondering if i need some sort of special paint? I want to paint it an OD green similar to the M40 standard colour. Can anyone recommend a good paint to do it? available at homebase or B&Q

Hi mate, I would go to a rental game first, then if you enjoy it go to 2 more rentals and you can buy a gun without having it painted a silly colour
