  1. Cool. Thanks guys. This is what I'll go for then
  2. I am looking to buy a Dragunov SVD and found this one. I think I would like a spring action one, I know I don't want an AEG. http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/asg-dragunov-svd-spring-sniper-rifle-product,14995 Are these any good? My budget is tight atm and I don't want to spend much above £200 as I will need to buy a scope. Can I upgrade the ABS for wood on this version? thanks guys
  3. cheers. I was thinking along the same lines. In the past our armourer put the numbers on the L85's on the under side of the lower trigger mechanism housing (almost up against the butt plate). With the M4 I am thinking may be on the top of retractable stock at the rear
  4. I have been used to seeing armoury numbers on L85's over the years and thought I'd copy this practice onto my M4 carbine. I have a standard M4A1 carbine (see photo). Does anyone know the usual place on these rifles where armoury numbers are painted? thanks
  5. I'm in the market for a Kings Arms Spring Dragonuv. Do you think I'll be able to fund the majority of that with this loadout?
  6. This isn't a for sale post (yet), Just wondered what I could ask for this load out. Its all original vietnam era (no repro's). The AEG is G&G M16VN Please be honest cheers guys

  10. I've literally just done this after using these guys advise and yes just wash in warm soapy water, rinse and let air dry. Simple as that and works a dream
  11. I am a bit dumb when it comes to all this. What exactly is a lipo battery? I've heard people mention them. are they really that good? I've also heard you can't let them run down completely or they are screwed
  12. Is it me or are 9.6v (2000 amh or greater) nun-chuck batteries not that common? I've been searching and not really come up with much. any advise?
  13. haha yes technically I suppose you are correct but hey........ I suppose I was actually asking for advise on a weapon commonly associated with snipers thanks for the feed back guys. I think I will do a lot more research before I buy anything. Its a real mine field out there to those of us limited in knowledge.
  14. Hi all, I am thinking of getting a sniper rifle and wondered what every bodies views are on the m24 cheers ronin
  15. I kind like the 3 point slings similar to the L85 sling. Fantastic bits of kit if you like slings and enables you to slide your rifle around your back out of the way when needed. I personally prefer no sling
  16. Hi guys and gals, I've got a query regarding fitting a front vertical grip to my M4. I have at present a bulk standard M4 hand guard fitted. Now, in order to fit a front vertical grip do I have to replace the entire hand guard for a rail version, or can I fit a bottom rail to my existing and slide the vertical grip onto that? I ahve tried to google this and can't see much material for the latter of my two options. cheers ronin
  17. Looked at this and most are imported meaning customs tax

  21. I have gotten rid of all my WWII gear now. My wife comes from Berlin and was uncomfortable with it all (the things we do for our partners ey? hahahaha)
  22. That makes perfect sense. I hadn't considered consistency, only accuracy of single shots.
