New... The cheapest I could find is £99, plus postage.
-
For the pistol alone, that could be reasonable perhaps... I'm not sure about the Sheath and stand included though...

Gas... Hence the gas router
-
Hi all... I need to value a pistol for possible sale. It's a hfc, with a single mag and is standard apart from a marui hop rubber, nine ball gas router and as soon as it arrives, nine ball cylinder head. The pistol has been fully striped and serviced. The stand is unfinished, but will be flat black. It will also have a kydex holster just as soon as the kydex arrives. The paint job isn't just piled on... The slide was originally black and blue, then grey and black but has been stripped back to bare metal, with krylon primer, base and top coats. I think that's about all the is to tell. So gun, 1 mag, stand, kydex holster... What's it worth?

I use radio's and I've seen quite a few others being used. Their extremely useful. You can pick something up quite cheaply as well...
-
Bear in mind that on a bolt acton 22lr, you can use irons at 100y to get 18 Inch groups... So the sighting system itself will vastly out range the gun their on (in this case). I don't use any sights at all and I can get consistent hits at about 30y and only need 1 or 2 prior shots to get good hits at double that. I have a vortex sparc upstairs with matching magnifier... Enough scope to be worth more than most good guns... And it comes with lifetime guarantees, so there's no earthly reason not to run them... Except that their not needed...
-
You don't need to spray it at all.... There's no legality issues on owning a rif. Just crack on... No need to paint a perfectly good gun.
-
I've mainly killed off sights... Inside about 20m ish, their accurate, at 30, your starting to have to compensate on anything but a perfectly still day At 40+ you would be just as accurate turning the dot off and putting your target in the middle of the tube. This is about the same on any aeg, and any scope without serious work... So really... Irons are all you need. Anything else is really just for looks.

Taken from another forum... "Just been to the airsoft expo in Warwickshire if you are planning to go then don't bother we paid £12 entry to look at only 5 very small stalls" The gates opened at 9am. The post was made at 10.23am... It's not even taking people till the afternoon!

I can understand how much of an issue it would be. I do... I just think that if you take it upon yourself to do something like this, you have to take responsibility for it. I did specifically ask for a partial refund or some form of adjustment to be made, considering a large drop in advertised exhibitors and events. At that point they stopped all communication... So they can forget ever getting anything from me again. I've heard of guys booking train tickets to come across the country, some are coming from Ireland... For 10 tables, dwarfed in a massive space... I recon all hell will break loose. I hate this entitled view of "we own your money, we're entitled to it, cus we tried hard".... No... I'm paying for a service, thanks... Not an attempt at one. Their actions are appaling, I think.
-
Irritating thing is... I spoke to them regarding a full or partial refund and they basically stonewalled me with "it's not our fault" and when I stated that, no you obviously can't control the exhibitors, but that's not the customers problem... You are the event organisers and responsible for the running of it... So let's be having a refund... They then stopped communication. So not only was it falsely advertised, not only are they unwilling to take responsibility for their event, and not only have they set up "the biggest expo in the country".... With only 10 stands... But their also money grabbing ball bags. I wouldn't go to this if you paid me... And for those going... If only 1000 people go, your looking at 100 people per stall... Try fitting an entire skirmish site around a table... It's going to be a cluster f... It's going to be bad.

Advice wanted on painting/camouflaging kit
NH Shooter replied to Combat Six's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Just... Use it and get it messy... It'll sort itself out. -
I've decided to sack it off... Airsoft world pulled out, which means the target run... Thing... Isn't on. There's a grand total of 10 stands... And the food is well expensive. For £12, id expect more... The British showing show is only £5 more expensive for FAR more...

Advice please newbie - need a good new AEG
NH Shooter replied to sjpage's topic in General Discussion
Using a fully polymer 15-22 should put that to rest -
I'm not sure how good it'll be, but I'm heading up Sunday...

I'm not sure what's hard about the press version. lol Took me all of 30 minutes to knock up the press, works excellently. You can even get b and q to cut the wood for you...

Does barrel length make a difference in range for aeg's ?
NH Shooter replied to Wardy27's topic in General Discussion
Also... Extremely long barrels help up to a point. That's because they help stabilise the bb... But that's extreme range stabilisation, so nothing a normal aeg would reach. -
Airgun and firearm law are completely different things...

At the mo, I'm basically running a TM hi-cappa, 3 mags (2 more in the post) on fastmag. A reloader in a fastmag. And for supporting... My M4 with ready mag. I also have the option to run another hi cap m4 mag... So on a belt rig I have quick access to 1200 M4 rounds and 140 pistol rounds, plus 3 flash and 2 smoke before I have to fiddle with anything... And fiddling involves Backpack off, Pour into 3 flashmag, insert into rifle (20 seconds) 3 flash, 2 smoke into fastmag pouches (+8 seconds) Speed Reload pistol mags (+30) Seal backpack, back on back (+5) Just over a minute to completely re-arm,should the above not be enough... No clips, no velcro, no faff... Works wonders

Wearable Low Light for adding attachment
NH Shooter replied to Sleighton's topic in General Discussion
You could use the one you pictured with one of these... http://onestop-key-rings.co.uk/images/securit-key-bak.jpg -
I've been trying odd games with just pistol since I started the thread... Using just pistol makes me a far better player. It's the added field craft needed, I think. I'm thinking far more about my rounds, my reloading, my position and all sorts... Plus for some reason is made me use grenades more... Maybe because it's easier to get my main completely out the way, thus better access... Plus I need a little more smoke sometimes to get into positions, etc... It's also a lot more fun!

Responsible disposal of RIF type springer?
NH Shooter replied to NickM's topic in General Discussion
I don't throw my paperwork in the bin... It goes on a box and I get rid on "fire night" but still... I wouldn't be worried about throwing a rif in the bin... That's just me though. -
Responsible disposal of RIF type springer?
NH Shooter replied to NickM's topic in General Discussion
What lozart said... Smash it with a hammer, and bin it. If you have any resin, you could fill it with that, then bin it. Pour some old emulsion in it, then bin it... just put it in a bag and bin it. Or just bin it... No one's gonna root through your trash... -
