any ideas about ULTIMATE WARGAMES limpsfield

Careful with airlab... I've had a right nightmare ordering from them... They failed to deliver for 2 weeks. 2 lies about shipping. No communication... I had to open a PayPal grievance in the end... Steer well clear. Edit... Try these guys... http://www.helmetworld.co.uk/airsoft-m4-m16-scar-metal-black-lonex-flash-magazine-mag-360rds-asg-uk-pull-cord-21976-p.asp -

Crossbows look cool.. But there's a reason they got superceded. If you have time to get a few shots off, you have time to leg it. What I would really do is go to my cabinet, reach for my airsoft gun, take it out.... Then put it aside and reach for what was behind it. Then find somewhere in the countryside to hide! -
I wear sealed mesh glasses. People say a lot about fragments, but to be fair, you are hitting the smallest single target on a human... By design or by luck. Then if that round does hit your eye, it has to be at the right angle from a bad manufacturer, that cracks into small enough bits... It does happen, im sure.... But so does a lot of stuff. I'd be more worried about the drive back and the odds of getting into a car accident...

Lads.... It's all about the brick-onna-stick. Take duck tape, a brick and a stick... -
It's not a case of what I want to hear. lol... I'm just relaying my experience. What I actually want to hear is "your order was shipped and will be with you tomorrow, and here's a generous discount to say sorry about being a tool." I'm glad that others may be alright... But to be fair, the mark of a company in my mind isn't how they operate when everything is fine, it's how they deal with their own failings... Which in this case, they have royally boned. I've felt the need to take it through PayPal now to try and get a response. Such a useless company.

In case future people read this thread... Item should have arrived today first class after being given "the highest priority" on Wed. It has not. No response to email. No response to text. Will not answer his phone. And no update of any description. My account still states that the item is "processing" Disgusting behaviour!!!

I have a condor rig and it works well... Some of the stitching is off, and as such some more is tight... But it's well enough made, I think. Certainly decent for the money.
-
Or he thought "sod this med stuff... I tried being reasonable and look where that got me..." and the next guy gets a close shot. The "not taking the hit" is debatable... But the "that doesn't count, this does. Click" is a bit of a dick move... I can be convinced that "not taking that without a sidearm" is possibly reasonable... Although if you want a mele weapon, the guy had a sniper rifle shaped club... But to call technicality, then fire back... What are we? 8 years old? Our site were not meant to fire below a few m with pistols, or rifles... If someone puts one to my chest and calls it... That was inside the med... Do I refuse to take it? No... Cus he had me. I had one last time... Guy got around the corner to me on a building exterior, put his pistol, blind, Round the corner... And called it. Below med AND blind firing? But he had me... Take the hit! He could have, just as easily, stepped out 1 meter and shot me in the face.
-
Building mine was loads of fun... I would use 1mm stuff to get good definition, then 2mm and a dremmel for retention. You know you can build a press for about £30 minus the foam, right? Including buying a mitre saw... Vat bagging is the world's biggest chore! I used to do it for carbon fibre... It was the bane of my life...
-
You would also look like a tool running into a field full of people waving a pistol... But their both entirely different things. The guy had the kit, and the opportunity and the will... He was just sporting and reasonable. To be in that situation, to say "ooooo, you can't shot me, but I can shoot you, look" after you turned around obviously... Is... Well... I refrain from further comment...
-
So in this situation you choose either not to engage or engage in a safe way... You could equally "walk up" and just drop it. If you equally had a grenade and walked up to me... Even if you did it by mistake... I'd say I was dead... You had me at your mercy, see...
-
Well... I'm not sure I can agree that levelling your rifle, making a call, and deliberately calling out is "making a small noise"... But it really couldn't matter less, could it... The situation was that 2 people, for whatever reason, we're in the same vicinity. 1of them had their rifle pointed at the others back, and the other is entirely unaware.... Until he gets deliberately shouted at by the guy carefully aiming at his spine... Whatever terminology you want to use... One of those people was distinctly at the others mercy.
-
The dude was behind him, weapon aimed, with enough time to make a decision and call out... Whether he got there on purpose or by accident makes no difference. He did the reasonable thing and then got shot for it... I don't think that's on at all... I think its a pretty off call... The med is there as a safety feature, not an excuse to dodge hits... The op was in another guys sights. You're either hit via a bb or a statement... But you're definitely hit...
-
Personally... If I had a reasonable shot, but didn't take it to preserve your safety... And you then turned around and shot me as a thank you... I'd 500fps you in the crotch. Twice. Bang rule or not... The dude got the drop on you. ... Take your hit...
-
Yeah... Not what you want really if your using them as a proper supplier... That's well crap. I do hate this sort of thing... If your going to run a business... Run it... Chess for all the input peeps.
-
Yeah... Didn't state any of that when I ordered. Just business as usual... Looks like I got the same stock reply as well. Also that he only let people know about delays AFTER orders are taken... That's pretty bad form. By the sounds of it... It's some dude who doesn't really know what he's doing... That sadly sorts that out. Cheers for the replies all.
-
Going on holiday is fully in someone's control, I think ... As is a website update stating that orders will be delayed... Or a Facebook one... Or not taking orders... If I was contacted in any way, or otherwise informed I'd not have not stripped the rifle down. The really is no excuse for it... My issue is that you pay for a service. If orders will be late cus you're on a jolly... That includes communication or arranging cover... You don't just sack it off for a bit and hope for the best... I'm honestly well disappointed... They had did some awesome components for a clean sheet build.
-
I emailed them... They didn't have a reason, just apologies. But that's no good, really... Being busy is no reason to be unorganised, inconsistent and uncommunicative. My first order say fine... They did mention sorbo pads, actually... But I'm not entirely sure how that affects other orders. They've gotta have about a bedrooms worth of stock... How hard can it be to organise that? lol
-
That's the thing in worried about... Kind of. Pricing the bits I want in my "next" order... I'm looking at just over 900 notes... I ain't willing to spend that sort of cash likely... Not if I'm gonna get screwed over our treated like a tool. I also can't be promising people results based on their delivery schedule... I lost this weekend skirmish... Not sure I wanna get blamed for that myself...
-
I ordered a nub from them last sat, and long story short they didn't bother to send it out. They didn't bother to contact me and I had to ask why my order day so pending for a Thursday (maybe) shipment. God only knows when they would have chosen to contact me... So the rifle was already in bits waiting for the parts, which now means I miss Sundays skirmish. The issue is... I have a vast amount of upgrading to do on a few rifles and hopefully... Some additional rifles belonging to others... So I don't want to be dealing with bad suppliers. After tomorrow, as no post will arrive on Sunday... That's 12 days or 9 post days to send the smallest and simplest of packages. So has anyone else had any dealings?
-
So... Does anyone know what happens when...

I'm just looking into some stuff... Issue seems to be the tk barrel... The cfd is doing some really weird stuff with even tiny changes in variables. I'll get some photo's up when I can get something decent. The cfd... I'll work on. -

Yeah... It's all a lot of conjecture. Realistically, I needed to do side by side barrels, then side by side hops and all sorts... In a indoor range. With a slow motion camera, chrono and a regulated air supply... If only I had that sort of time! I'll show you what I can though... If I suddenly start making 2 inch groupings at 150m, we'll know I've done something right...
