  1. Picking up a hydro dip tank, loads of kydex, ares amoeba ccr... And even though it's not strictly airsoft... I've found a cold steel imperial tai pan for sale. It's going to be a busy new year!
  2. I'm currently making up one for a mk23... Should be only the slightest of clicks... Which is the whole issue... Too many moving parts in aegs...
  3. Nose worries... I have a lot of stuff coming in, soon... I'll let you know of any black kit turns up.
  4. If you like the condor stuff... I have an M4 pouch (4 mags) in and an M4 drop leg pouch (4 mags). Both in multicam.
  5. In almost every circumstance... Bushings beat bearings (when things are done properly). Use Bushings.
  6. Yeah, that's the issue... 1000D as a material is too lightweight... These are made using webbing strapping... Much more robust. The strap is neigh on impossible to get. Even getting multicam is a costly and long winded adventure. lol I'll give it a go though. I'm not sure that rifle mounting would work... You would require kydex for that, which I'm currently prototyping.
  7. Yeah... Post 1 shows the striker on a molle belt, as well as the first prototypes on the same belt... . And there's a link to a video on post 3, showing their use. As for colours, I'm limited to standard webbing colours. Atacs is particularly niche and hard to find. But I'm looking for all colours.
  8. It not a problem, per se... Just "sub optimal" It wouldn't be a problem keeping your mags in a backpack or pocket... But to be quicker, we use a vest, to be quicker still, we use pouches without velcro or clips, to be quicker still we use fast mags... Even quicker, ready mags... Now there's nothing wrong with using your pockets... But you can be more efficient by using a specialised bit of kit. I actually use a mix of fast mag pouches, and ready mag... That's where this whole idea came about... I got my mag change down to a second, optimised my rig and weight... So started looking my next weakest point, which was actually my mag winding, so I went to flash mag. Then it was grenade deployment... Now I can fire 4 mags, without winding and barely wasting time on reloads, deploy grenades extremely quickly and I use a water bottle pouch on my right hip to catch pistol mags... Making those reloads quicker by miles... None of these things were a problem... But now I'm quicker, more capable and more adaptable...
  9. These weren't designed to get over that problem though. It's the issue you have when using one involves tearing open velcro, or undoing a clip, then foraging around for a bang, then having to use two hands to undo the cap, strike it... Then unless you wanna risk losing the rest of them... Redoing your clip or velcro. That also assumes that your bang goes on the first strike of the thumbnail sized striker... I tried it myself... From "go" it took me around 8 seconds from decision to the bang leaving my hand and securing the pouch, weapon back to ready. And I had to drop my vision to look at my pouch and bang... That assumed a first strike "burn" and mine usually take two, maybe 3...average of about 9 seconds, total. That was also velcro... Much quicker than clips... That's at least 5 seconds to get noticed... These, with a striker plate... Decision to bang leaving my hand, weapon ready... Average of 2 seconds... With the added benefit of keeping my eyes on target, weapon up and no velcro noise. And the greatly increased striker size guarantees good ignition... Some situations increase their case... Going from main to pistol... Snipers or cqb... Drop main, reach for both pistol and bang... Pistol in strong hand... You can transition and throw a bang simultaneously... Extremely quick breaching... It's a tool for increased efficiency. And they do greatly increase it... Same as fast mags, ready mags and kydex holsters...
  10. If anyone wants updates, I've just made a Facebook page... Ill be posting all sorts... https://m.facebook.com/Gtechservices
  11. Honestly... Pricing is vague at best at the moment... I'm in full assembly line mode with a lot of question answering... I never expected such a rush... But I'm positive I can commit to a unit price of less than £10. Plus discounts for multiple units... I'm thinking a mix and match or thunderflash, smoke, Strikers and colours. I think I could go near the £8 mark in fact... Plus postage, etc...
  12. I can do, in fact, I already have... But I'm doing other colours now... It's we speak... In fact I'm doing tan, coyote, olive, black, dpm and multicam...
  13. The steel is spring tempered stainless... Looking weak will soon dissappear as soon as you feel them. Unpainted is sadly the best option... As their spring units, coatings will fatigue and damage. Camo tape works well enough though. At the mo, if I'm well quick... I can do the lions share of work in 20 minutes. So far, 12 have gone from 1 lunchtime at my local site. This is the first time I've really shown them... All testing so far has yielded excellent results.
  14. The grenades are store brought. I only made the holders, etc... But sites are funny... Some (very little) don't care about what you use. Some (middle ground) want you to only use certain brands... Those being the main ones. Others want you to only buy from them. Which is usually a money making thing. But whatever you use, the size is always the same, with the exception of niche grenade sizes. So the holders fit major retail grenades. I haven't done any videos... But I can wazz one up quickly to show how they work... It's very amateur... I'll do something better, but for the moment, this should show you how they work... http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Glaive/media/VID_20141025_113626_zpsgjty3kij.mp4.html The bangs themself... Just Google mk5 thunerflash. There's plenty of YouTube vids.
  15. Hi all, I've posted about this before, but I now have some stock and wanted to share for opinions. They are currently being sold at introduction prices at my local site where I can get direct customer reviews, but I thought asking for visual feedback wouldn't hurt. What's everyone's opinion? Striker plates, holders and holders in application...
  16. If you look at their site, they have 3 distinct rounds. Smoke, flash and marker... The marker versions are easily available in the UK. Their impact releasing powder... No toxic or explosive content. On another note... The new enola gaye flash are "snap in the middle" making them incredibly small and light. I would imagine that using pipe insulation foam around one would cause an air seal in a 203 tube... All that would really be needed is a decent way to ignite them... Which should be extremely simple...
  17. To be honest, I'm sure I could make a timed version work...
  18. I think I've lost the plot a bit... What idea is a good one? lol
  19. You want a revolver grenade... Throw, reset the system, twist a new blank into place... Reusable and quick reset in the field.
  20. Lonex flash mags... Hi cap, but no real winding to speak of. And 7.4 lipo would be just fine. Roughly the same output as the higher voltage nimh.
  21. I use some old walking boots. I think they cost me £25 from sports direct...
  22. Their probably selling a clone for a tenner...
  23. The MT2C I use puts out about 360 lumins... And that would blind a room, easily... Turns a pitch black building into daylight. I've been told that a flash from it will "white out" someone completely for half a minute... So plenty for cqb. The SRT6 will give you daylight shooting, on a pitch black night well over 150yds. Thats about 900...
  24. I use a Nitecore SRT6, which you can upgrade with pressure switch... Insane light output and good controls. The backup is a MT2C.... Which uses the same pressure switch. I highly rate the Nitecore stuff.
  25. This might be a big one... Hazard 4 plan b, in olive... Modular leg rig, to hold some Fastmag... Also got some more fast mags... Helikon poncho Because eBay was kind... In both multicam and olive and... Plus some grenade pouches and some radio pouches Fire kit box... Plus some phials of powdered magnesium, a large fire steel rod, and kydex for a sheath Some scales for my camping knife build. Another eBay find... And enough supplies to finish the first run of flashbang holders, plus another 50, plus 25 smoke variants and 25 striker variants Plus loads of medical kit supplies, some torch stuff, sewing stuff .... I think that's about it...
