An oxymoron. TM make plastic pistols, but let me tell you: they are absolutely killer. The 5-7 for example is an absolute monster, feels like the real deal, as the real one is polymer, accurate and kicks hard. Very reliable also. I wouldn't deter you, but even for all its merits, I'd spend it on mags, a good red dot+foregrip, and boots. Long term investment that'll be wayyy more useful and let you play more effectively and enjoy it more, pistols are great, but only as a part of a well-stocked rig.

EDIT TO RULES: The (in hindsight) incredibly risk prone hand to hand combat has been scrapped.Instead, a combat system involving tapping shoulders,after testing it actually gave a realistic feel and limited danger, we'll be using that. Have negotiated a bulk discount from larpinn.uk for weapons, and tweaked face protection a bit. Looking a lot safer now, we'll break even it looks! The equipment will last for future events and maximise profit for charity. Now, I would like to ask for help and ideas concerning game event ideas, such as what to do with dead players, possibly resurrection as muttations? And seeing as we now could use larp weapons, combat is going to be wayyy more fun

Well, I had, as you see, an idea. The cybergun famas has a somewhat hollow body, I hear. Now, seeing as there isn't a GBB FAMAS, I was thinking it might be possible to gut it, and butcher a WE G18c into it, somehow adding a longer inner barrel with support, and gluing the charging handle to the slide? Obviously leaves a lot to be desired with the magazine and select fire, but could this work?

I've seen people locking back the handle though? Then they tap it and it flies forward? Also how's the build quality in general?
