  1. For some guns it's an upgrade (for example; TM guns shoot around 280 fps stock so an m100 spring would bump that to around 320-325 fps) for others it's usually a downgrade (mostly your cheaper china brands like CYMA) as these often shoot above 360 fps. Just remember that higher fps doesn't always mean a better gun or more range.
  2. There's disassembly guides all over YouTube for most guns, the question is whether YOU feel comfortable changing it yourself. When I first started I got the tech at the shop to do it, but now I'm more comfortable I (usually) do it myself. ZeroOne will charge you for a downgrade, but some sites do it for free if you enquire (such as TaiwanGun) or if you buy the spring from them as well. Spring size will be your call, but I always use an m90 spring as it sits most rifles comfortably around the 300 fps mark. Reason being most sites (especially CQB ones) have a limit of 350 fps so if yours is just a smudge over you may not be able to use your new toy there. An added bonus is a lower spring puts less stress on the gearbox so it generally lasts a lot longer
  3. You'll need a spring downgrade since I've seen one of these hit 370 fps with the stock spring. Other than that they're fairly sturdy but you will be very limited with regards to upgrades and magazines. On the other hand you can turn it into a pulse rifle from Aliens with the conversion kit which makes it look a lot more badass
  4. I would have said transparent too since it's actually quite subtle compared to bright green/blue/etc.
  5. A four foot foam sword for "safety kills" or suicide charges. Considering I just top 5 foot 5, carrying this thing is going to be fun. Still £2 off eBay isn't to be sniffed at. Zombie nights are going to get a lot more fun now
  6. Like ronny, I also prefer this style: http://www.taiwangun.com/en/shotgun-m56a-ee?from=listing&campaign-id=19 Cut the pistol grip part off behind the trigger, wrap the damage/cut section in sniper tape and it just looks a lot better (in my opinion) and a bit like a Remmington.
  7. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tokyo-marui-26rd-magazine-for-m1911a1-gbb-chrome-silver.html#.U1bQ5E69LTo Once you account for postage/shipping it's not too bad. They also have the 40 round mags in stock. Oh and welcome to the forum mate
  8. Signed it last week, but will spread the word.
  9. Mighty tempted to go, just getting the time off in August is always murder at work
  10. Definitely in Europe as I watched that vid too. I'm trying to avoid watching vids on the evo though - the more I see it the more I want one.
  11. Yeah I was going to say to brace yourself: a ton of people will soon be recommending the G&G Combat Machines as a starter if you're after an AR platform, but Mr B beat me to it. He's right about the Marui recoil series though - if you can afford one then get it and you won't be disappointed. That said I'd wait till you find out if you actually enjoy your first skirmish before forking out £400+ on a high end rifle.
  12. .2g Blasters for CQB .25g Stingers for everything else
  13. I'd be interested as long as there's places to stay nearby for overnight(s), though I'd struggle for kit if it was a WW2 event as most of my gear is 1960/70's era Soviet stuff or modern(ish). Could rent a site for during the days and do a possible zombie scenario at night? Just an idea really.
  14. Got mine from mossbrosmoss on eBay - good quality and decent prices if you're after just name tags with velcro backing.
  15. Let us know how you get on with it mate - I'm thinking of getting one later on in the year so some feedback on here would appreciated. P.s. You can also buy an air rifle without the hassle you get buying a RIF lol
  16. Wasn't waiting for just Zero one to have them - I had a fair few different sites on email notification. Plus I wasn't sure about ordering from outside the UK at that point in time (which I now do a fair bit of ironically) in terms of legally getting it into the country - I didn't want to risk my RIF getting sezied at customs.
  17. What annoys me is when they have discontinued or rare items still listed on their sites but as out of stock. Case in point when I was after my Maruzen CA870: took me a year or so before ZeroOne got a batch in stock - despite them (as well as many others) having them listed on their websites without a way of knowing when they'd be likely to get a restock.
  18. Ah sorry mate - knew I missed something. I haven't really gotten to researching it yet but it looks an easy enough loadout:
  19. Haven't shot it yet since the neighbours are out in the garden next door - walking out with a pistol in hand may give the wrong impression lol. Build wise it's very light but seems solid enough - all metal apart from the grips on the side. Going to a skirmish at the embassy on the 26th so this is coming too so I will review it after a days skirmishing. Only issue I can see is the wobbly trigger (not sure if this is intentional) and that it doesn't have a safety (like the real gun). Like I said, I'll write a mini review later on after I've skirmished it but out of the box it looks promising.
  20. Always nice when things arrive long before you expect then to...
  21. Hey mate, welcome to the forum!
  22. Both are brilliant guns, but it is really aesthetics at this point. Personally I like the look of the cm18 more but it's your gun so your call.
  23. Ah Russe that loadout would look sweet once you got it sorted. I'm guessing you already have a secondary pistol you could use with it? My current Soviet/Eastern Bloc loadout is on the way to completion just need to find a decently priced backpack. Drawn to this because it's cheap and would look right with my kit: http://www.epicmilitaria.com/product.php/3591/czech-m60-olive-pack-special-offer But would prefer a more Russian styled pack like this: http://frontowiec.com/index.php?p2809,plecak-rd-54 Overall I'm going for an Afghan VDV look with this loadout. Will post some pictures when it's complete. For my next trick I'm going to try and make up a F.E.A.R. operative loadout from the game series. Basing it mostly on Sgt. Becket from the second game.
  24. I personally want a PP-2000 of some description. Either as an AEP or gas weapon for CQB
