Get a G&G CM16. I prefer the CQB ones for the rail attachments.

Looks a nice weapon. I don't know much about ASG guns so I'll let someone advise on that but like Mr B said, the G&G Combat Machines are excellent. I was going to go for a CM16 but picked up a GR16 instead. Great weapons. If you live anywhere near Birmingham, I'd advise going in to JD and having a look and speaking to them. They're good people and have a firing range for you to try the guns first.

Firstly, DO NOT BUY THAT GUN! It's plastic and shit. It will just implode as soon as you touch it. Secondly, NEVER buy from justbbguns. They're selling off crap quality stuff and their after sales care is pretty non existent. For £200 you can get a pretty decent gun. G&G are good quality guns for the price. I'd advise on looking somewhere a little more reputable such as www.zerooneairsoft.com or https://jdairsoft1-px.rtrk.co.uk Both offer free 2 tone of your weapon of choice. Just, for the love of god, do not line the pockets of the con artists at justbbguns.

Thanks guys. The Anti-Reversal latch wasn't in correctly. It's sorted now. It seems to be ok at the minute but will have to see how it performs at the next game. Hardwiring the MOSFET is definitely something I intend on doing. As the the internal wear, I had a look at the parts and it all seems to be fine. I'm going to correct the AOE and get a M110 as you suggest as that should lower my FPS with the AOE fix but bring is back up with the spring I hope. I'm also going to revisit the shims when I go back in to the gearbox.

Just taken the gearbox apart again to have a look for any signs of the issue but can't see anything that would be cause for concern. However, I now have a strange noise of the motor after a Burst every so often. I took a video of it. As I said, it's the stock spring. Not sure on its rating. I don't think it can be pre engagment from my understanding of it. I only have a 13rps ROF and it was firing at 310 fps before the upgrade. It never happens on full auto. It's only if I pull the trigger but let go before the piston is released. The techie from my team has told me that he think that when the spring is all the way back the gun is Drawing too much current, so the Resetting fuse kicks in As it thinks I have a short. He said I'd have to remove the fuse from the mosfet. Which is something I don't want to do tbh.

It's a G&G GR16 CQW. It was stock internals before I had the mosfet. It was doing it then. I've just upgraded to shs 13:1 high speed gears and a jbu high torque motor. Fully shimmed and regreased. Also obviously out the mosfet in plug and play as you said. Spring is stock, had the gun for 2 months or so. Battery came with it. I have 2 and both do the same. I have a new one which I need to try. One is an 8.4v nimh and other is 9.6v nimh

I'm going to try to explain this the best I can. At my main site, it's single fire only, so if I pull the trigger and quickly release before fully pulling it the motor turns but not full. Another pull usually releases and it's off again, sometimes it jams. Now I thought a MOSFET would help prevent this and always complete a spin. But I can't find where I read this so maybe it's just not true. I can't see how it would be true as the MOSFET doesn't know where the motor is, it can only guess. Now on to my problem, as mentioned previously, if the spring wasn't released, a pull or 2 on the trigger usually sorts this. However with the MOSFET attached, it doesn't. In fact it borks my gun and stops it firing until I take the MOSFET out. So with the MOSFET attached, if I pull the trigger but let go before the spring is released, then pull again, I get a click and the LED on the MOSFET goes bright for a second or so. No amount of pulling will fix it. I have to remove the MOSFET, fire, then attach the MOSFET again. So what's going on here? It's a NEW* 2014 Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET. MOSFET, MOSFET, MOSFET, MOSFET, MOSFET....I felt like it needed typing a few more times...

Hi mate. It's unfortunate on the pricing. The general gist I'm getting from people who attended is that it's good but needs work, which I'd expect for a new site. What's nice to see is that you're taking on people's feedback and implementing it. The Medic system at The Embassy works roughly like this: Get shot, you stand with your hand in the air and can only call for a medic. ie "Black Medic" or "Red Medic". A player on your team can than place their hand on your shoulder and count to 10, then you're back in the game. If no medic arrives in 3 minutes, you bleed out and have to go back to Respawn. Grenades and knifes are respawn only. No medic. Games vary on how many times you can have a medic per life or per game. Players can't shoot while medicing someone. You can stop the count to shoot but have to start over. If the injured player is hit at an angle that would travel through the player and hit the medic (Bullets travel through bodies) then the medicing player is also hit. While injured, you can be pulled up to 1 body length to get some cover too. I think that's about it. It works really well in CQB sites imo.

How did the 4th May go? Someone I know went who said that it was a good day and should turn out to be a nice site. I want to give it a go, but the fees are a little steep imo. Something I like about The Embassy is the Medic Revive rule. Does that go on at Gaol? Do you have pics of that day or know of any videos anyone took?

All done! Got the gears from Pete, got other bits from all over. I now have a gearbox with SHS 13:1 high speed gears, JBU High Torque motor, SHS trigger switch. Also installed a Burst Wizard Super 2 MOSFET. Had an issue today as the piston wasn't seated correctly so had to borrow a gun but got back home and fixed it. Seems to be firing well. Chuffed with it. Just hope it holds up.

I'm leaving the spring for now. What I'm really struggling wit us finding a trustworthy site to get a SHS high speed gear set that have them in stock. Signal is a joke down here which is making it more difficult

It's a G&G GR16 CQW Rush. I have noticed some bare wire just where the wire comes out of the gear box to the motor. That was possibly touching the gearbox housing. I've ordered the SHS high speed 13:1 gear set, a new hop up rubber as mine was randomly swinging shots left and right, and a 2014 Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET with deans. Bought a low of deans and some 16awg wire. I was planning on shimming the gearbox anyway so at least I can get that done and a re grease. Someone is lending me a gun for Sunday now so I'm not in as much as a panic. Seeing this as an opportunity to learn and upgrade. One thing I did notice was that the trigger mech seemed fine but the moving part's copper is black. That doesn't seem right to me. I think my mate has bought some new trigger parts so I may replace that or just clean it up. I imagine I'll be spending Saturday on YouTube. Lol. Any advice on motor brand? Also thinking of a new spring. Im firing at aboit 310 right now with stock so thinking of getting an m90 or m100. I'm down in Poole right now so going to nip in to z1 and get a few bits. Desperate times...

Hi guys. Played a game yesterday and my gun kept jamming. Then all of a sudden it started shooting completely on its on. I flicked it to safe and it carried on until the battery died. It was red hot. Both the motor and battery. I think the battery is fucked now. As soon as I connected a new battery, off it went again. Guys there seem to think the copper connections were jammed. I've taken the gearbox to bits but everything popped out so I couldn't see what the actual problem was. I'm just hoping it's ok. So now I plan to rewire, new gears, new motor and possibly a mosfet. So I'm looking at shs high speed gears, or Ultimate high speed. Then a high torque motor. Apparently this gives really good trigger response. I'll likely go for a JBU high torque long shaft. Not really sure when brands are good on price and quality. Any suggestions from anyone else? I need to get this working before next Sunday. Cheers.

Can anyone suggest a mesh face mask that will fit nicely and leave no gaps with the ESS V12 Advancers? I've got TMC v2 and v1 Strike mesh masks but neither fit nicely with them.

Thanks for the advice mate. After my game today I think it needs it's ROF vastly improving tbh. The FPS is also around 318. The range and accuracy were great though with only a small amount of hop up applied. So I'm thinking of getting a faster motor in it. Maybe better gears too as you said.

Someone has paid for my gun, but when asked to confirm he's over 18 he sent me a picture of a passport under a different name. I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't sell it to him unless he proves he's over 18? what do you guys think?
