  1. Or realise that a BB isn't a bullet and doesn't travel at 1000+FPS and that you actually can just keep moving. Most people hit by snipers are stood still. My personal alternative is not to play skirmishes at all and stick to themed events ....
  2. Or just ignore the annoying twat and play your own game. He is usually off going out of bounds and editing his own game to make himself look awesome to be bothered about anyway
  3. Its Monkee as in 60s pop band not Monkey as in small simian animal
  4. It's disdain not distain.....resident spelling Nazi checking in....
  5. D'oh completely missed that. Ok, let me qualify this - an M4 (yes, I know) CTR style folding stock, or a wire frame one. Not keen on the AK74 style polymer ones.
  6. Never knew it was the same bellend who ran Special Airsoft Supplies! That puts it straight on the avoid list for that alone to be honest.
  7. And shit like this is why I dont do skirms
  8. Well, if they do an RPK version I will be happy is the GHK one is impossible to find
  9. It's a strange release TBH. GHK AKM is a well regarded established platform. The only thing that holds it back is availability (at least in the UK). Then again it is an all steel receiver which is probably illegal given Japans strict gun laws so I can see why TM have pushed ahead with theirs to satisfy that internal market. As usual, an export market is a secondary consideration for them probably.
  10. I am sure it will be fine out of the box it is a TM afterall, but I will stick to my GHK AKM.
  11. As that particular gun is based on the S&T Sterling, it has a quick change spring in it. Have a dig around the internet for disassembly videos but as fas as I can recall you just need to remove the battery cover and you can look inside and see the spring guide which you just turn to release the spring.
  12. Truth is they all do the same thing, all roughly to the same standard. Once you realise that you save money. I am at the stage now where I only buy GBBRs and only ones that are sufficiently niche. Like the upcoming FAL for instance
  13. Just make sure to offer to split fuel costs, I frequently give lifts to people and nothing irritates more than having to ask for fuel money.
  14. In addition to what Chev said, try purging ALL the air out then filling the mag. It could also be an overfilled mag believe it or not
  15. Another vote against the Evo - its the mags - if they were a bit thicker I could like it
  16. Another one for M4 stocks on everything. But its pistol calibre carbines that annoy the shit out of me the most, especially when they are kits grafted onto expensive guns like an MWS.......
  17. Even in the unlikely event it does crack, new receivers are available readily from numerous sources.
  18. Basically, no heavy case pyro to be thrown, it must be dropped from below knee height or rolled but only after checking you arent about to drop it on someones head as even from below knee height it will fucking hurt. Paper pyro only to be thrown. Its an added cost to get specific armbands and enough of them, but one I think would add to peoples experience. You would either get very few issues as people behaved themselves more if they knew they could be readily ID'd or fucking loads, it could go either way. Maybe add £1 deposit for each armband refundable at the end of the day to ensure they dont get nicked which would be the main issue.
  19. Agree with comments on mandatory chrono. Agreed with semi only rule and no blindfiring or prefiring. Experience from games at the Mall and Urban Assault show these to be very sensible rules for CQB. I would also copy the Malls rule about heavy metal reusable bangs. Another rule I liked was the usage of numbered armbands for ID purposes. Someone being a dick? Take their number, report it. Armbands being swapped from one arm to the other to signify being medic'd was another rule I always liked, can't remember what site it was from though.
  20. I would also suggest making sure that you have the building for a long term lease, don't want developers ripping it out from under you
  21. What side? I play East German I was on the British side, the squad I was with had a guy with the mortar, Got to say I’m very impressed with the East German uniforms and equipment you guys use. Are you at the next one in August ? Sure will be. Yeh, it looks nice but the webbing falls apart the second you try to go prone. East German is easy to do as its so easily available and cheap. You guys had a mortar? We had an RPG....
  22. Well, unless he wants to skirmish in such kit, then Gunman are the ONLY providers of a Cold War game currently within the UK. As I have been speaking the OP he has indicated he prefers themed games so it was not a bad assumption in the end.
