      warrior ones are £15 each - not bad compared to £31 for the genuine HSGI Tacos. TaiwanGun does some as well, for about £4. No idea how good they are though, and course then you have to pay £10 for shipping so might not be worth it

      Cheers guys, had a Sabre leg rig before and wasn't sure if I liked them or not but they are definitely an option. Kinda unsure whether I'm gonna get an AUG or AK as next gun but if it's the former I could just use AR mag pouches.

    my mate silly brought a gun from Special Airsot supplies for £700 plus mags almost £1000 spent and it didnt work. Was taking about it at a site and two people near us over heard and said they been conned by him too. What a rep that guys got

      tbf I think this one was kinda justified after all he did pull a gun but they couldn't have tackled him down to the ground? and they always fire so many shots? I know 9mm isn't the best for stopping power but come on

    Hey, Im new to airsoft and what its all about are there any Airsoft veterans that can help me out in gaining a sniper loadout and general tips and pointers on buying?

      So I've heard there's basically two sniper rifles which are decent out of the box. One is the A&K M24 which I have myself but tbh I airsoft too infrequently & never bought a scope, so haven't even tried it out on the field yet. And I don't have anything else to compare it against. Then alternatively there's the Well Warrior L96 / MB-01 but it still needs quite a few upgrade parts.

      Basically sniper rifles will perform well but the problem with em is range / accuracy is not any better than your ordinary AEG so obviously you are severely limited by mag capacity and are at a disadvantage in terms of rate of fire as well. The only real upside with a spring BASR is at least you're not relying on gas or batteries.
