  1. Anybody on here know of anyone looking for a decent Two-Tone? I'm looking to get rid of my Combat Machine. Only testing the waters here, hence why I haven't made a sale thread.

  2. Yes! I have the exact same jacket but without the hood. If you look further back in the thread when I posted a few pics of my original, thrown together from what I had lying around, S.T.A.L.K.E.R impression i'm wear that coat.
  3. When I first thought about this I contemplated a Chinese chest rig, but then had second thoughts as it may look just a tad out of place. As for using regular walking boots: functionality wise, they'd be perfect and provide the support, however, you should be able to pick up a pair of high leg military boots (probably German para) for under £30 and would provide better aesthetics for the impression.
  4. My CYMA cm.048 & cm.048s arrived today from Taiwan Gun. Both are bloody beautiful to say the least! Also very solid, magnet sticks to almost everything and there's not really any bad wobble anywhere. Even the mags are steel Both are also firing true and had no feeding issues from the 6 spare mags were ordered either. I'm now looking forward to trying on my full impression complete with rifle and posting a few pics on here of it!
  5. SO THAT MEANS... If cars are like that... But not all cars have horses at the front... Then most modern Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and Porsche's ... Are in fact... BULLPUPS!
  6. Electrical tape will make it fit and you'll have a tacti-cool private oper8R look
  7. It's still usual TWG prices but with their postage added on. I mean, it's not bad rates for postage considering it's all the way from Poland (1800 miles or so?) but they've always been known for their free postage
  8. As the title of the thread suggests, TaiwanGun are now charging for postage on orders that are under 300 it appears. What's your thoughts on this guys? I always thought that a lot of the praise for TaiwanGun came from the fact that they offered free postage in EU on orders over 60.
  9. If it's anyone who's passionate about playing the 'zombie' role, then seriously, keep your distance and be prepared to run for your life and not stop. My local ran a DayZ SurvivaSim event and I decided to play as a zombie for the last phase of the day (had previously been marshal/NPC) and my 'hunting buddy' had been playing the zombie role all day and said that he locked on to people and wouldn't blink til he caught them or he got killed.
  10. I managed to clean all the grit and dirt out of the inside with a damp cloth as it just all stuck to it and now it's not bad. But if a struggle getting the filters in though and the holes for the little buttons have shrunk and I can't push them back through. Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies, my M65 looks pretty good with my faded flecktarn trousers and knee pads. Not tried it all on together yet though, still need to have a lil' game of dress up and scare the sh*t out if everybody.
  11. Just got my PBF in the post there and was wondering what the best way to clean the grit out of the inside of the mask would be? Should I just steep it in warm soapy water or is there a better method?
  12. ICS Proline MP5's if you want to stay clear of M4/AK's, never owned one but heard they're fantastic. Aswell as they're MP5's the ICS Sig line is supposed to be pretty good aswell.
  13. My 1961 Vintage Trench coat arrived today! Safe to say I'm buzzing as it's my new winter coat, and it was an absolute bargain!

  14. Just got an Austrian M65 and a set of Blackhawk knee pads for this impression. And all for 23 of her majesty's sterling pounds
  15. Found a Slovakian M97 Parka on the cheap, wondering how it would look with the impression and need some opinions. ^^ and yes, I know, he looks a bit like a serial killer.
  16. Played the fort for my first ever game of Airsoft and the atmosphere was very friendly from all and the play was good. That was over 2 years ago, however. Ask DX115Falcon about the site as I believe that is his regular. Myself, I play at Section8, which is in Allanton, just past Shotts. I can vouch for the site and tell you that you will be welcomed from your first game. Everyone is friendly and it is worth travelling for the games!
  17. Ah, another STALKER Loadout on these forums! Looks good and looks as if it will go well, Happy!
  18. Anyone know if the D-Boys RK-03W on TaiwanGun is any good? It says it is made of steel but was wondering if that's correct or not. http://www.taiwangun.com/en/rk-03w-real-wood-boyi?from=listing&campaign-id=20

RSOV are out of stock as are most places

Yes, it is (mostly) steel and wood. The upper and lower receiver stampings are steel, as is the gas return tube and the folding stock, the only metal bit that is not steel is the outer barrel which is alloy (probably aluminium, or possibly mazak, the foregrip is wood. The mag is plastic. D Boys stuff is pretty good on the whole, although don't expect any genuine trademarks, however the fire select lettering on that AK is in Russian as per the real thing.

Receiver is steel but important parts like trunnion and the front gas block aren't

  19. I'm not sure if anything in that thread will be the right size for me as I'm a skinny bugger. Also, I think I may have a jacket and belt sorted but thanks for the heads up and offer mate!
  20. I've heard this for them also, but thats about as far as my knowledge goes. Another con in my book is that AFAIK, ICS don't do an AKS-74 variant and that is what my heart is set on.
  21. Just got myself a lovely, black PBF Gas Mask for this, should be here in about a week or so. £16 and it's NOS! ^^ This bad boy here.
  22. Just bought a PBF Gas Mask for my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Impression!
  23. Seems like we're in the same train of thought. I've practiced getting my things together and getting ready to walk out the door and it took me around 30 minutes from an unready position, which I thought was reasonable for someone who doesn't 'prep' day-to-day. I've got an old Berghaus Bergen that I'd have my bug-out things in and have the essentials within the side pockets incase I had to ditch the actual pack.
  24. Anyone on these forums into Prepping? If so, what sort of preps have you prepared and what are you prepping for? I feel that Airsofting has led me to take more of an interest in prepping, and even though I haven't really made any major preps, I've found myself conjuring up a rough plan of action and a few general locations for 'bugging out'.
