  1. Two sites I've played at have had both vandalism and theft, first sight had the safe zone set on fire then the second sight had parts of their puma go missing every week when they came down to play

  2. I went to sleep at 0500 on the 23rd, after working a 12 hour shift was up 2 hours later, packed and set off for a full days shooting, and just found out I'm meant to be going p balling ( yes I know what sacrilege) tommorow so fun times

  3.

wouldn't lay the whole gun in any chemicals - might chew rubber bucking and clean off grease where needed in gearbox

major pain in the ar$e even an easy to strip paint job as often remove all painted pieces and then chuck in bath

(plastic ice cram tub - missus hates my toys but she prefers her own toys at bath time like a buzzing yellow rubber ducky)

I'm going to have to give it a go. My issue is it will be my GBB 416 that needs striping, came with a crap green paint job. So I guess up pick some up and strip it down to bare receivers and rail then slack and scrub?

  4.

Unlucky mate! Had same happen to my new SRS after 1 outing to the mall, although it came with a mesh flash-hider which took the brunt, and not something you can order replacements of.

So I'm bit luckier in that my sight is still functional, but it's still ornamental until i make some kinda bespoke shield (as foldup ones like what linked in above post dont seem to quite cover it)

I think CQB is just doom for all your kit, I have a TM tracer and the outer-case it entirely dented and fuked from all the times my gun rather than face takes the hits. Someone even managed to leave a bb sized dent in the side of my m4!

I've managed to get a couple of bbs stuck in my ris on my 417, it's been there for a good 5-6 skimrishes.

  5. me personally id go with the vfc. ive had a vfc 417 350 (20'' sniper variant) for over 3 years. never had any issues, never had anything break. its actually got a semi decent range, fps is about 290 on mine which is a bit lower than id have liked but not to bad. mags are a pain in the arse due to their size, meaning youll spend a bomb on magazines and pouches.

only issues ive ever had was resolved without even leaving the shop (the day i brought it), nozzle was broken in transit, so they just replaced it with a brand new one.

  6. You could always get some of those rip away MOLLE section things for your vest. These will attach to the backpack as well, so you can just pull it off by the velcro, get your stuff out, and stick it back on.

Yeah, that is a very cutting edge way of approaching the same problem of access. You needn't use it with a backpack either - just molle the base unit to your hydration bladder pouch, then rip'n'stick a 8x9" utility pouch with a zip, off and, after sorting your shite out, back on...

Thats actually a pretty amazing sokution thanks tac, think i will get them and try it as ian stated. It hopfully will come in atacs_fg as im hoping to move over to an atacs dcs
