bear in mind though that the man is a tank and the gun only LOOKS small in his hands!

my M4A1 SOPMOD Block 2 is very nearly complete:

perfectly skirmishable as it is, but I'd ideally like to stick a decent functional PEQ 15 on there and maybe a torch too.

I dunno, when I was Teos age I did rugby training 3 times a week, including a match nearly every weekend, ten tors, sailing and various other stupid activities. I was constantly a bit sore and I really knew about it the day after a match but no part of me suffered any permanent damage.

Teenagers are near indestructible, as long as he doesn't start thinking that a 100Kg benchpress is his minimum required standard he'll be fine!

if your plate carrier is too heavy take some stuff off it!

exercise wise though, CORE: sit ups, plank, leg raises, side raises, tuck jumps, v-sits. Push ups and pull ups will help too, but to a lesser extent.

I think it shows that a Plate Carrier is there as a bit of 'Fancy Dress' and no one needs to wear one for Airsoft.

range on TM recoil shock guns is phenomenal, play with it a few times before you decide you NEED upgrades.

So you don't mean a 'milsim' loadout you mean an 'Impression'?

To me a 'Milsim' Loadout would be one used for taking part in a Milsim. That would be one that reflected the needs of a real battlefield.

No need to paint it, ownership of a RIF is not a crime.

ESS profile turbofan goggles. Full seal, polycarbonate lens which will stop buckshot, anti fog coating on the lens that's effective on its own.
Coup de grace though is the fan in the top of the goggles that pulls air through them, on low speed it's all but inaudible to the person wearing them, let alone people nearby. On high speed it's louder but still quiet enough that no one will hear it from further away than about 6'. Have worn them with a plastic lower attached with cable ties during intense CQB with lots of running and have NEVER experienced them fog up even a little.

The P*, fire control unit, regulator and 3000psi air bottle and line cost Joe circa £650 with postage.

The G&G hop and P* extended nozzle were around £50 extra on top of that, and the gun was bought as a completed custom build, for what I considered a steal, at £350.

Putting the total cost of the build at around £1050 + the 4 Pmags I bought to the tune of £100.

The instructors at Stirling are all airsoft players as well as ex SF bad men, weird combo but there you go. I can't imagine much of what they teach being directly related to shooting in honesty, as at airsoft ranges if you're struggling then there's not a lot that the principles of marksmanship are going to do to help!
I expect it's likely to be more about concealment, observation, movement etc. proper soldier skills that'll have an application in a game, though perhaps not the average Sunday skirmish as their focus will be their core audience: the mil-simmer.

Ex UKSF instructors, about as legit as it gets. They cater mostly for the more serious mil sim types but obviously don't tolerate walting!

there's import duty as well, can be as much as 5% depending on what you're importing and what HMRC decide to classify it as, then you're looking at either £8 or £13 parcelfarce handling fee on top of that.

My g/f lives a long way from me and, TBF, when it comes to things like suffering and violence, she's fucking useless... have to hook up with someone else for a shag. I mean, 'ksake, in a zombie apocalypse you'd really need a reason to crack on and no shagging would really put a dent in that!

As you can see, it's battered, had a lot of use!

The silencer is an FMA quick detach tracer unit that I can highly recommend if you're wanting to play CQB, since you can clip it on and off in a second when you need it.
http://www.ebairsoft.com/full-auto-tracer-silencer-tb631-p-6773.html Cheapest place I've found to buy it is ebairsoft, the flash hider that comes with it is for a KWA/KSC MP7 though and doesn't fit, but if you pack out the inside of the silencer with a bit of electrical tape it fits snugly over the stock marui flash hider.

Sight is a DYTAC aimpoint T1 replica, it's the only one I've had so far that hasn't died from the recoil, this one's about 6-7000 shots in and still going strong.

Torch is an element replica of a surefire m300 scoutlight on an offset mount, gets in the way of the folding grip a little bit but the on/off switch sits exactly where my thumb needs it to be.

Have a PEQ15 as well to go on the top, but it's only really for night games as during the day I've no use for an IR laser and illuminator!

That's the thing though isn't it, overheads! Staff/utilities/rent/insurance/tax etc over here are all MASSIVELY more than they are in Asia, not saying that all UK pricing is 'fair' but I can't imagine a situation where the prices here and the prices in Asia will match up to any extent.

That said, for smaller stuff I'm willing to pay the premium to buy it from a UK seller, the convenience alone is worth it, Fire-Support are my go-to retailer for anything less than £100. I just wish that UK stores would stock more of the obscure stuff, especially parts.
