  1. I'm still using the same Classic Army Metal mid caps I got when I first started. It was a box of five for around £60. I've used them in G&P, Classic Army and G&G rifles and not had any issues with them. Had them for five years now.
  2. Welcome to the Forum and if i'm not mistaken, isn't that Bunker 51?
  3. MId caps for me. Hate winding high caps and the noise produced by them and flash mags.
  4. Only one place? London has three venues, Bunker 51 in Charlton and TWA Urban and TWA Woodland in Croydon. Would welcome another London site though and very keen to hear where this new one will be. Have plenty of London based Airsofters itching for a new venue!!
  5. Just ordered some Mechanix gloves from Military1st with a 20% discount.
  6. Anyone else thinking "Inside job"?
  7. I like the smaller suppressor for this gun, but in truth I want to shorten the barrel for a larger suppressor. I'm also thinking of replacing the 551 andf 3x Magnifier sights with an ACOG.
  8. I think we're overdue a picture of a gun on this thread, so here's my G&G Top Tech TR15.
  9. Why not just buy some Hessien and OD or Brown colour dye (Both for less than £10 combined) and make it from that? That way you wont leave any sticky residue on your rifle when you remove the tape.
  10. I just absolutely wet myself laughing after reading that Jimmy Saville comment!!! Cracking! I mainly do CQB skirmishes too and was looking at the G&G Scar L as an option. It is on my wish list which consists of a KWA or TM MP 7A1, a G&G Scar L and a TM PX4 GBB Pistol. Now, which body organ do I need to sell to fund such purchases?!
  11. I'm liking the Scar. Whats your opinion of the G&G Scar?
  12. Who's made a New Year's resolution that they'll actually stick too for 2014?

  13. It's neither theft or Fraud but misrepresentation. This would mean it would have to go through trading standards to get them to either amend their product descriptions to be more accurate or in the extreme, get them shut down for failing to do so. Both will be hard to do unless people are prepared to chase it through to the end.
  14. By legs, I'm assuming you mean head? Just saying that you need to make sure with these CoDsofters as a head shot in CoD is one shot one kill. Also, this kid probably had the Bullet proof vest perk on during skirmishes. Obviously. I'm yet to have a bad experience from a CoDsofter as I find most of them are new to the sport and just need a bit of educating and advice. As someone has already said, it's bringing new people to the sport and it's getting people up off their bums as well!
  15. Looks like some twats have ruined Ai500 just for the sake of taking a wee.

Not as such the event, but future use of the venue is now in question due to this behaviour.

  16. My friend was using a OhShiBoom at the weekend and it was awesome! Used and abused in room clearing games and never failed to go off! Was being used with 9mm blanks and the bang was brilliant in the small rooms! You can get them from OhShiBoom but recommend getting the BFG with the 9mm and shotgun primer adapters as they are sold together at a discounted price. I'm waiting for pay day to come around so I can pick up two of these bad boys!
  17. Great skirmish on Saturday despite two shots to the face and one to the back of my head from my own team mate!

  18. Looking at getting an Ohshiboom myself. Where did you get your blanks from?
  19. Thinking about this a bit more and as BB's are made to be either 6mm or 8mm in diameter they would all have a "Hole in the middle" or "Air pocket" but the hole/air pocket would be of varying size depending on the weight of the BB. How else would you be able to change the weight of the BB without changing the material you use to make them with? So is it really an imperfection that you see in the middle of your BB, or just the way they are manufactured to adjust the weight of the BB?
  20. Have always steered clear of JBBG. Swear by Devil blaster BB's.
  21. TWA at the weekend. Just don't get to skirmish often enough! Still, will make sure I have a blast.
