  1. Here's one I've been looking at getting.
  2. Nice one. Did you have any issue with the TRMR not going off on softer ground?
  3. Thanks guys, i'm already aware of the difference's between the two but wanted to know from anyone who has actually used them. I have a friend who has the Oshiboom and he says it's good, but then I see that some people say it's not so good. The TRMR looks promising even though it is slightly dearer. I think the Oshiboom looks better value for money and the deal they offer of buying both adapters with it at a cheaper price is good. I'm still interested of hearing from someone who has actually used both though. M_P - I do agree with you, there is definitely something about pulling the pin out before you throw it.
  4. Looking to pick up a BFG soon but can't decide between the Oshiboom and the TRMR. Has anyone had experience of both and can make a comparison of the two to see which is better?
  5. HEAT - Brilliant film. “You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.”
  6. Recently got myself a pair of Mechanix Wear M-Pact Covert gloves from Military 1st. They cost £24.99 at the time and I also got an additional 10% off. Lucky me!
  7. What you do in life, echoes in eternity - Gladiator "Those are British troops at Arnhem. They're hurt bad. And you're just gonna sit here... and... drink tea?"
  8. TWA are now doing a pickup service to take you to the site when you get off the train at New Addington. Thinks it costs £3 or something like that. Find the group on Facebook for further details.
  9. Before you get too carried away with changing springs and FPS, you should have a read of the site rules of where you intend to skirmish. Airsoft Billericay have a site limit of 350 FPS and here is a copy of the rules from their website.... Game Rules & Site. Max power for automatic AEGs is 350 FPS ( all guns will be checked, there may be random checks whilst in game play ) Bolt Action Snipers 450fps Snipers must carry back up weapons Minimum engagement distance for Snipers is 30 metres No Blind Firing, rebounds & gun hits don't count, foot shots under buildings do count. MOST IMPORTANT - Take hits, if in doubt please class as a hit. If people are not taking hits, don't shout & swear at them, tell a marshal only. A marshal may randomly shoot you during a game with a pistol only, this is to help ensure people take hits. Pyro's are confirmed on the day & must be inspected before use. When throwing a pyro always shout "grenade" whilst throwing mk. 5 only. Ground level sport so no digging holes or climbing trees. Remove all rubbish from the site, if black bags are provided please use them. Avoid head shots, although these are allowed it can be dangerous. A lot of other sites set FPS limits to 328 but will tolerate up to a +5% variance.
  10. Eye protection and a good pair of boots. Don't scrimp on these.
  11. Welcome to the forum! Billericay is a good site, but you should try and get yourself down to Dragons Lair. Take a look at this map for all the sites near you and around the UK. At last, someone who read Ian's post without being prompted to do so!!
  12. You should still have an order number. Call them and explain you've seen it cheaper and want to cancel and get a refund. You never know, they may still send it to you and price match it to G&P's price.
  13. Too late to return it and get a refund?
  14. Where did you order it from? If you ordered it from G&P you could get it for less than £57, including VAT and shipping.
  15. Buy a pair of these from Proairsoftsupplies as they don't fog, apparently. Can't go wrong for £9.99 either.
  16. Do you guys have a website or Facebook page?
  17. Wolf Armouries had a site before Bunker 51 that was an indoor Paintball venue and they did the same thing of hosing the floors. People were slipping over all the time and it became extremely dangerous. Can't say i'm keen on going to Bunker 51 anymore.
  18. If you decide to go with the TM MP7 GBB, there's one for sale on this forum.
  19. I believe they do games there too, but you are still right about the site though. Needs to be looked after better as it doubles as an indoor Paintball venue. That is down to the owners though and not Wolf or Airborne. Bunker 51 run their own Paintball games and Zombie games.
  20. Any updates of this new London site? As TWA Anerley has had to close and that leaves TWA Woodland (New Addington) and Bunker 51 as the only sites within the M25.
  21. The London sites are normally full and sell out before the actual game dates. The TWA Urban site did actually expand and gave itself a different dimension in terms of game play. Unfortunately for us now though we are limited for sites in London and have to travel to the outskirts of the M25 for a skirmish. Sucks if you have to take public transport all the time. There was a thread for a new London site, but nothing new has been posted in that thread.
  22. Was this a night run by Wolf Armouries? As there are nights run by Airborne Airsoft that seem to be better. I used to skirmish at Bunker 51 quite often but after a while it gets too repetitive and you learn how to win some of the games without firing many shots at all. The site is too small and they try to cram in to many players as they need the income.
  23. For those who use the TWA Urban site, if you're not already aware by now the site has had to close as the contract has not been renewed by the landlord. All TWA games will now be held at the Woodland site on a fortnightly basis. There is now only one CQB site in London (Bunker 51), which ain't that great. Just read this review for more evidence. Anybody thinking of starting a CQB site London would be on to a winner with the right site.
