  2. evilfree & I have different serial numbers on our Xcortech X3200 chrono's, so I'm calling that good evidence they're the real deal, not knock offs. I bought mine from here - £48 posted.

  6. American Rangers at Point du Hoc loudout?
  7. Eureka Props Nerd: "We'll need about twelve hundred bucks to build the gun for this epp..." Eureka Production Designer: "Screw that! We don't got that in the goddamn budget if'n we gotta make that asshole float... pack some euro-trash in a goddamn bag an' see what sticks together. Nobody will know and they can fix the shots in goddamn post!"

  11. ^^Yeah, there's definitely a bit of vom at the back of my throat!
  12. But just to be on the safe side, keep your phonecam ready to start recording, because if you do get killed, we'll want to see it!
  13. ^^Think so. It came in a box with all the right printing and a serial number sticker. Inside is a manual sheet in Chinese, the cone came in a separate baggie, the serial no on the unit matches and the logo and screen were covered by protective sheet... It also gave expected results from shooting through it. But who knows? It may be a knock off. If it is, I don't care - it works.
  14. More fleabay ~ Short (19.7mm) Aluminium Air Nozzle w/ O-ring f/ AK (woohoo!) - £4.89 posted USSR KGB SPECIAL DEPARTMENTS Screw Back Military Uniform Insignia - £11.95 posted __________________________________________________________________________________________________ PSO Dragunov SVD Scope from our own dear Chippins. Thanks mate __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Xcortech 3200 Chronograph - can't remember but it was under fifty quid posted!
  15. ^^Yeah that charger will do the trick and having the PS built in makes it a fair deal at that price - especially if you're going to split the P&P by buying a battery at the same time. I forget the numbers exactly but I don't think you're supposed to charge 1600mAh batteries at higher than about 2/3A, so 700mAh capacity is not going to lose you anything in most instances that a more expensive </=5A charger would provide.
  16. Apart from the fact that the XM8 is to gun design what the Millennium Dome is to architecture, SRC G36's are good (apart from the hop rubber).
  17. If you'd been with us at Humber Airsoft on Sunday you wouldn't dismiss knee pads so lightly, Nick. 'Kin brutal! It's a limestone quarry overgrown with pretty much just 3 plants - thorn bushes, wild roses, and moss... a nice mix of stones, big stabby thorns, small splintery thorns, and sponged up chalky water just waiting for you to squelch down into your best sniper position on... You could maybe go with a canvas satchel, a gas mask one, or just something that could have been used to carry explosives, etc., as a dump pouch - then you wouldn't need to keep track of which mags in your pouches were empty, you wouldn't have to look at them to check numbers, and you wouldn't have to fiddle with getting empties back in the pouch, so they speed up reloads. Looking good, Russ! Looking very good!
  18. Black cable ties might help in the meantime, Tac.
  19. Tadaaah! Soviet RD-54 backpack/rig from fleabay... woohoo! $88.94 :gulpx2:
  20. Maybe that was what they were needed for, but the design clearly extended solely out of some proper penny pincher's ideas on what makes headgear!
  21. Of course! Doh! Goldfish maneuver strikes again You could always use polyester - I just love those bags they wore on their heads. I wonder if anyone could keep a straight face when referring to them as "hats"?
  22. Take the bicep part of a sleeve off a green woolly-pully, hem a turnup at the wider end and sew straight across the other end - tadaah!
  23. I know mate. Especially since the Vanaras 0.4's i bought were unopened bags 2nd hand and I bent the geezer over as well. Not that I'll be lying in the bushes thinking "1.2p, 2.4p, 3.6p..." but when it gets to "50 left, 49 left, 48 left..." if I'm not Vasily-ing it up the large one, I'll not be pleased...
