It's very small, but i find it very comfortable in the hand. The fit/finish/quality is great. I've not shot it properly yet or chrono'd it, but have seen some people say it's only doing about 250fps due to having such a short barrel. The trigger has a long free pull then a short and heavy break. It feels worse dry firing it, when shooting BBs i like the trigger and it has a short reset. No, i got it. I meant it looks like he's putting 2 loads of VAT on a retail price that already includes VAT. I actually want one of these, but not used for 1.4 times the price of a new one with warranty.. Also that Magpul foregrip looks shit on it.

Maybe his own VAT, but they're 450 for the gun and 28 each for the mags including VAT from Zero One. What he wants is well above retail for a used gun. If the gun alone was 300-ish i'd be tempted. But even at 350 i'd pay the extra hundred quid and have a brand new one.

Aside from being a slow process, i don't think it's really an issue as long as you're a legit buyer. (IE a player or have UKARA.) I've got some stuff that was seized by customs in December, been released today. It took 3 weeks for them to send me a notice of seizure, and another 3 weeks to get it released. Other guns from the US, Taiwan and Hong Kong have come through without issue. (I actually want a Sig 551 as well.)

The real question is do/did you regret it? I've done it many times, usually without regret. As said earlier, once you've decided, you want affirmation, not advice.

How long of a barrel do you end up with?

What kind of sniper play style are you interested in? Full ghillie'd up hiding in a bush? DMR, more mobile and in more action? Lightweight rifle and highly mobile? Many (all?) sites will require you have a sidearm due to the minimum engagement distance for sniper/DMR rifles, so factor that into your budget too. I bought a cheap used JG BAR-10 off the classified. Previous owner upgraded it, its capability exceeds my shooting ability and it's very light. Worth having a look in there for used ones, often upgraded already and cheaper than retail.

Attached a tracer and dial'd in the hop, the range and accuracy now is really good. With 0.3s it's pretty accurate to probably 30+ metres at a guess. (Accurate enough for a pistol, aiming at a person-sized target.) I'm not sure how much of a difference the barrel's made, but it brought the power up so i guess it's a good contribution.

If you need one quickly and we can still find a replacement i can take the one out my 4.5mm USP. (Assuming it's the same.)

I've not yet adjusted the hop with the new barrel, but with just changing that it's brought the gun right up to the 1.13J limit. (285FPS on 0.3s.) I've not really used it much, only issue i had is the pin at the bottom of the grip that retains the lanyard loop/hammer spring kept wanting to come out. I gave it a quick knurl and no issues since. It's my favourite pistol, feels so solid and the grip is just perfect. Like you said, very easy to strip down and work on.

I have one of these and recently found they seem to have a proprietry barrel and bucking. I did manage to modify a Maple Leaf barrel to fit, but still on original bucking. Any idea who the OE is? ?

Glock 45 with Bomber steel MOS slide, Bomber steel threaded barrel, Pro Arms stainless spring + guide rod, TTI ally CNC hop chamber, Unicorn barrel + bucking, Pro Arms tritium supressor sights, Streamlight TLR-8 clone, Vector Optics red dot sight and a Milspin slide back plate. Glock 17 Gen 5 V2 (front serrations) with Unicorn barrel + bucking, Pro Arms threaded barrel, Pro Arms tritium supressor sights. Maple Leaf hop chamber yet to go in it. Still got more Glocks and parts to arrive.. ?
