This is more complicated than i anticipated.. ? I'm looking at a TM NGRS SCAR-L, just as a general assault rifle, not for CQB or DMR use. Apparently you can go to 365mm with the standard outer barrel length (which i'd keep) whereas it comes with a 300mm barrel as standard.

Realistically, what's the longest barrel worth having on a typical AEG assault rifle? Is it worth going much over 300/350mm?

No, i think it's a 19 slide on a 17 frame effectively. It's kind of a tan 45 but without front serrations on the slide, without flared magwell and with an exposed lanyard loop.

Amazing collection. So i looked this up but found no answer online; it says Glock 17s and 19s were sometimes issued. A while ago when entering an Air Force base, the guy at the gatehouse had a tan/FDE Glock, and going by memory it had a lanyard loop on the bottom, which says to me it was a 19X. But nowhere could i find reports of them being issued 19Xs. Have you heard of them being used here? Had what?
