  1. Personally I only care about the fashion parade, I'm 100% useless at the game itself. Woe betide the team that get lumped with my fat ass. I'm the guy who chucks a grenade then hits the lip of the window and bounces it back inside to team kill everybody.
  2. Bit of an amalgamation of deliveries, trying to expand my range of camo a bit. Crye G3 Combat trousers - Multicam Crye G3 Combat knee pads Plat-A-Tac Tac Dax MkII - Kryptek Mandrake UF-Pro combat shirt - PenCott Greenzone OPS Combat shirt - ATACS-IX Safariland for G17+ x300 Safariland for G21 + x300 Emdom IAP Magpul Core technical gloves PIG FDT-Bravo FR Gloves Patch
  3. As a person with a car 'owners' club' badge in their sig; I do not believe this. We all know what you're like.
  4. Very little that's high-end or high quality, but hey it's all free and if I go to a milsim again I'll not need to buy anything much. Can't remember everything present exactly, but a rough list. Desert, Temperate and Safety boots Osprey Mk4 + Ops panel + soft armour inserts + side plates (until I get the proper ones) + soft armour collars and brassards + about 30 pouches + misc ancillaries 3L Cameback (bladder and carrier in MTP) Sealskinz socks Sweat rags Bullet proof hi-vis belt Knee pads Warm weather sleeping bag + liner + stuff sack MTP Bivvy sheet + stuff sack PCS Trousers x 4 PCS Shirt PCS Full-pattern UBACS with ballistic collars x 4 Washing bag Microfiber towel Mosie head net Tan shemagh Anti-bac boxers x 4 Ballistic boxers x 3 Soft-armour filled groin guard 'Lightweight' gore-tex jacket and trousers Arid coveralls x 2 Gerber multi-tool and torch + Silva head torch Boonie Large and small MTP rucksack covers Carabiner Ear plugs Revision Sawfly x 2 Revision Desert Locust Extra GSR canisters Extra rank tabs Synthetic T-Shirts x 4 Already had the cold weather stuff from previous Falklands trip, so there'd have been a lot more otherwise. MSM Admin pouch and pack my own, pack was a stand-in for the MTP daysack that finally pitched up at stores the day after. I'm sure I've forgotten some stuff, but that's 95% of it. My role entails a lot of SHTF type just-in-case preparedness for certain unpleasant scenarios, so I'm unlikely to need the infantry type kit for use outside a base area but they give it to us anyway.
  5. That's a pretty cool way to stack a single complete loadout in one place I have to say. I'm probably the only one thinking this, but personally I liked the fact you've actually covered it up. I see so many gun ranks and gear displays posted all over the place that look really sweet, but you know within literally a fortnight it'll all be covered in dust; that's why I keep everything in cupboards.
  6. Maybe slightly smaller images next time? I'm on a 28" 2k monitor here and I can only fit half of one of those on screen at a time.
  7. Pretty rare indeed to see stuff that actually qualifies for the word custom. Wouldn't be personally what I'd go for I'll admit but clearly it fits your tastes exactly and the works looks really great, which is all that matters.
  8. The smith boogie regulators are designed for jumping; they're very much like 'normal' civvie goggles I've been given for freefall courses. I wouldn't say that about all tactical eyewear though by any means, a lot of the rated specs we wear/see that are common military issue would come straight off if you jumped in them. Plenty of times people on ops are stationary as well, how much footage from afghan consisted of lads sat on compound roofs or in trenches shooting vs running while shooting?
  9. Sorry, but no it isn't. No military issues those I can guarantee you. Unless it's China where they're made perhaps...
  10. Out of interest, where is that armour carrier from? It's like the standard issue new airsofters' rig these days.
  11. Looks exactly like every other bog standard CS95 shirt I was ever issued. Unless you mean they're issuing out what's let for jungle training? Which I guess is possible but I've not heard of it.
  12. Most stuff on LegitKit that's an auction will go for big money in the last 4-5 minutes. Not often a place for bargains, but if you've got the cash and want rare stuff because that happens to be what you're in to, it's an easy way to find it with minimal trawling.
  13. FG, long term plan is to alter it to mimic (as closely as possible) the real ones showcased on the WarSport site. The Grey ones were available here a good few weeks ago and I'd had the FG pre-ordered which was supposed to release at the same time, but the UK distributor ballsed it up. Got refunded by Land Warrior, kept the money aside and then picked one up as soon as they let me know they'd shipped in a few (I don't think they brought in many). I won't claim to be part of the brotherhood or anything just yet, haven't fired it yet. Also the people in the factory were inept enough to miss a couple of really basic finishing touches when assembling it that I now need to fix myself before I can use it.
  14. First Krytac. Been waiting a good year or two for one of these.
  15. Looks fine to me. Generally with a fixed iron, the vertical face will be forward, sloping face back; same as the standard A-frame front sight gas block.
  16. I don't really like to discuss my finances publicly in general; sufficed to say I found a good deal else I wouldn't have bought them (as with anything I buy). Price also depends massively whether you want the AOR or another colour/pattern. Either way, AOR versions can't be purchased direct/new and the other colours are basically the same unless you know someone current US mil.
  17. Patagonia trousers, these ones are AOR2 but they make them in MC and flat colours. This diagram explains the keepads best:
  18. Where from if you don't mine me asking? A lot of the british stores only seem to have gotten the grey ones in.
  19. You know that was a camo joke right? Or is this a great big double bluff?
  20. The back, cummerbund and shoulder pads are FirstSpear, the front and shoulder straps are custom made. I've already got similar sorts of PCs in Multicam and Coyote for the other placards to go on to.
  21. www.leafgear.com Expensive and the shipping was crazy high, but I needed them asap for work stuff. Mil discount helped a bit of course, extremely good service, spoke to them a couple of times on the phone and great to deal with. Rapid delivery which was my priority. Boots are just about the only kit I won't import from the states. Edgar Brothers offer them as well and they'll be much cheaper, but I think they drop ship and they were gonna be a 4-6 week wait when I asked them, whereas leaf had them in and took about 36 hours from order placed to being delivered to camp from the Netherlands. If I wanted them for airsoft I'd have just gone through EB.
