  1. Tiffany never actually made these guns AFAIK, there's a lot of pictures around online that would suggest it but they're all rigged up. A New York fashion store selling firearms? I think anyone who knows the politics in NYC and amongst the US (or indeed global) fashion industries generally will see the unlikelihood of that: http://www.alloutdoor.com/2015/08/14/the-tiffany-pistol-is-it-really-a-thing/ First picture makes it look real right? Except there's no box there that the gun would actually fit in. The cardboard bag and the draw-string bag are just packaging from jewellery or whatever. Though if anyone has a definite link from Tiffany's themselves proving me wrong I'd be honestly interested in seeing that. Either way, paint job looks well done, it's a unique colour and for me personally definitely an improvement on some of these 'Glock' models WE put out.
  2. Updated BCM AEG build, based on an out-of-production Avalon/VFC.
  3. Yeah I made a typo there, ITS Tac. Not a value-for-money solution however, very bad £:display area ratio and big money shipping. Unfortunately those panels are the only 'display' type storage I have for patches so I don't have any recommendations to hand. Most economical option is to just buy loop velcro and hang it however you fancy; works perfectly well.
  4. -Beyond Clothing softshells -Mil-Spec Monkey bottle -Cross Machine & Tool M-LOK rail -ITA Tac morale panels
  5. I think you'd struggle to prove that part. But that's entirely the opinion of a non-lawyer so I'll just leave that as is. I just don't want new players coming on to this forum who've not played yet and believing it's perfectly ok to buy a 2-tone when they're not eligible to be sold a RIF then manufacture a RIF via paint that same day. Forums have way more lurkers than they do posters.
  6. Far as I'm concerned, aesthetics are as much of a reason as anything else in this game. I've got 1 or 2 BAD levers on AEGs that functionally do bugger all, but I've also got them on my KWA GBB M4s and they're a nice little extra when reloading; also I tend to lock the bolt back whenever I go in to the safe zone and occasionally GBBRs can mis-feed a BB and you'll need to carry out remedial action basically the same as an obstruction in a real rifle.
  7. The original idea was primarily related to locking the bolt back when necessary to clear a double feed or other obstruction, the bottom part of the control in question on a standard AR is pretty tiny as weapon controls go. The speeding up of the bolt release whenever needed was a bonus side effect (according to the designers). In airsoft it's the other way around really since you'll reload often but rarely need to deliberately lock the working parts to the rear. That's been my experience at least.
  8. Given the vagaries of the VCRA, that would be up to a court to decide. The definition of a defence that the vast majority of sites and UKARA accept for membership/database entry is the standard 3 games/more than 2 months rule and every time I've dealt with customs/border force they've wanted UKARA database entry to clear RIFs for import. IIRC correctly, manufacture is written in the same part of the act as the eligibility to be sold to and I don't know of any good, well established retailers that'll sell you a RIF if this is you: "Da_sheriff replied to M_P's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts got my new kit ready for a game day, now to get a damn sunday off from work so i can actually go to one. Yesterday at 09:36 PM"
  9. "well, after 12 days of waiting my new PDW finally arrived. my choice was either spend £60 on rentals for the next two months to get my ukara or spend £70 on a little package gun. Its a Dboys PDW full plastic version. wont lie it does feel like certain parts would break but the main body feels pretty good for a cheap aeg and i will say im looking forward to getting into a game with it." So what was your defence for manufacturing that RIF? Have you maintained a site membership over the years or something?
  10. I feel like you were going to the mall, took a wrong turn and ended up at a woodland game. Looks decent though. G3 combat shirt clone in the grey? How is that?
  11. Ha, would never have guessed that in a million years.
  12. Where you at out of curiosity? Interesting safe zone.
  13. The PDR was a concept gun Magpul prototyped years back. 5.56 bullpup, fed from standard NATO mags, full ambi controls, selectable ejection side, long enough barrel to give decent velocity/muzzle energy but being a bullpup also small enough to fit inside helis, tanks etc for crew defence. Modern take on the L85 Carbine (L22) basically, would've been pretty awesome I reckon but they never went beyond a couple of early prototypes.
  14. First delivery I've actually had arrive in this year containing more than 1 thing. Mil-Spec Monkey Raw Hoodie Crye G3 Combat shirt BCM Gunfighter stocks (Standard and SOPMOD) + KeyMod cover panels G-Code Safariland RTi adapters ITS Tac swag (not pictured: loads more patches) Centurion C4 10" Pic rail G-Code chest rig bags and RTi belt mount

  16. Few recent bits and pieces, waiting on a shipment from the states. Xcortech X3500 Laylax TM Recoil sling plate and reinforced castle nut Crye Gen 1 (early) combat shirt Krytac LVOA-S
  17. Nice, a new players' gun with a sensible amount of accessories. Don't be tempted to add more.
  18. Can't believe this is on the 3rd page, guess everyone's posting all their loadouts on IG. Anyway, my first woodland game for ~4-5 years at a guess. Pointless face blur is purely because my mask got knocked and was sat at a stoopid-*albatross* angle.
  19. It's a real thing, made by X Products. They do a standard 50 rnd drum for lots of different guns and that skeletonised version as well. Airsoft companies almost never make up their own sh*t, they just copy stuff from the US gun market that most people don't know about then act like it was their own ideas all along.
  20. Not quite finished yet, just need to change the handguard and it'll be there (externally at least).
  21. G36 parts fit all sorts of places. (not my pictures btw)
