  1. Any vague ideas (very roughly) of when further orders might go out? Not been long at all since I bought mine granted, just curious. I am a whore for the patches.
  2. Got in one shot from my last game (foreground).
  3. Yo dawg. Heard you like risers on your risers? 🤪
  4. It's not a replica of it per se, but it's very very clearly been based off the FN FNS-9. Pretty damn close.
  5. Which model of muzzle device did you have it mounted on?
  6. http://www.eotechinc.com/holographic-weapon-sights/model-558 ?' Looks like an EXPS.
  7. The latest gen that I tried at shot show this jan blew my mind, not gonna lie and I have zero association with KWA. Easily on par with your average GBBr, it was shocking everyone that picked it up at the PTS booth. Hopefully it wasn't just some juiced up prototype for the show because this guy handed to me like 'try this it'll blow you away' and I was incredibly skeptical at that point, but he was not wrong.
  8. That'll be one of these bad boys: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-rifles-c38/electric-rifles-c45/pts-syndicate-airsoft-centurion-arms-cm4-c4-10-erg-aeg-p8897 Lovely guns the latest gen of ERGs I have to say. If I wasn't thoroughly married to the TM system already I'd be buying them.
  9. Do you like mobility? Being able to easily get in and out of a kneeling/sitting/squatting position without your belt end up at your nipples? Minimal interference with hips/legs so you can run at top speed? Minimal weight in your loadout? Get a thinner belt. You can still carry plenty of kit on even a 2" belt like the FRV, let alone a 3", and remain comfortable. The Tyr Tac belt that (far as I know) started the movement that FRV copies, comes with a padded mesh inner belt with the velcro interface - as an example. Crye trousers have padding in the waist and I'm sure lots of other clones do too. Not that you always need padding it depends on how your belt gear attaches for the most part, but options are there if you do get uncomfortable. Granted I'd tend to go for something a bit bigger than the FRV style if the belt is carrying all of my gear at that time vs running a belt + PC or chest rig, but you're still better off keeping it narrow and sleek as you can. Not to mention the fact that high mounted pouches/holsters on a tall belt cause all your mags to tip and lean outwards and flap about the place.
  10. All these 'brand names' are made up bollocks when it comes to these sorts of products. Smoke screens that'll vanish in short order. Generally not even representative of the product because the re-brander will take products from dozens of different chinese factories and slap it in their own packaging - like Nuprol. IMHO, investing in KeyMod at this point is a really bad move because M-LOK won the format wars and you're investing in obsolete designs. Any rail in that price range will be of worse quality than the one you have on the gun already most likely, a downgrade, so you'd be better spending nothing and keeping what you've got. Also you'll need a good set of tools and experience in taking ARs apart/putting them back together to install a free float, plus of course you need to make sure you find a low pro gas block that'll actually work with your outer barrel (unless you just don't want the faux gas system which is fine but if you're making the change for looks seems counter productive).
  11. The product description is a copy+paste from the Noveske original they've ripped-off and cloned. £22 is way too little to spend on a freefloat metal KeyMod rail. It might be ok for airsoft, or it might crumble in to fuckin dust when you try and attach it or when first put to use; that's the gamble with the bottom end chinese clones and it's exactly why arguments of "my mate has one and it's fine!" are literally pointless, because there's no consistency in manufacture.
  12. I'm sure there's other things I just didn't take in to account. No drama either way though, @MisterG you do you.
  13. I think the mistake you perhaps made, and this isn't a dig just trying to be constructive here, is to try and make a gun of a totally different style with only bolt-on rail attachments. It's a very common thing and people do it all the time but I've come to the conclusion over the years it doesn't really work. The gun you've pictured with the marine there is a Mk12 SPR, which has an 18" barrel and a freefloat rail that's roughly twice as long as the handguard you currently have, along with a fixed stock. For someone wanting to replicate that look, the only way to really do it that'll look good in the end is invest the time and effort to actually make the bigger changes to the gun's components. A standard M4 layout with the 14.5" barrel, 7" rail and collapsible stock is meant to be a do-all/most carbine for the majority of realistic combat distances, 0 to ~300m. You can slap picatinny accessories on stuff super easy and it's airsoft so that's fine, have at it, but it takes a bit more work to really change the overall aesthetic to something entirely different.
  14. The only church I attend is the one of 'whatever floats your boat'. Personally if I go with magnification I'll use something shorter like an ACOG instead of a 'scope' on guns other than DMRs and bolties, but that's more cosplay than anything else. Given how accurate some really short airsoft guns can sometimes be and how inaccurate some longer ones can be, there's no reason to be restricted either way. I love 3-4x (or more even) for ID purposes, especially at a skirmish when you're hunting for that bit of scrunched up tape on a guy's arm wearing camo running perpendicular to you behind a load bushes. Pic thread:
  15. If you wanna replace that Centurion C4 10" with a real one gimme a call 😉😘
  16. I would disagree myself, if you're talking aesthetics you have to match an optic to the gun in terms of form. 14.5"+ ARs with very thin tubular handguards suit a short dot very well because the upper/forend and the optic are very similar in styling, plus it makes more practical sense with a longer barrel. When you're looking at a short, tall (i.e. from the 6 o/clock rail to the 12 where you mount optics) and chubby/chunky gun with an 11.5" barrel or lower then the aesthetic choice would be something short and chunky like an EoTech, which happens to also make more sense from a real world application point of view. Difference in airsoft of course is a short barrel will shoot basically the same as a longer one so in a sub-350 gun the application argument is less applicable and it just becomes a question of where you're using the thing, imho.
  17. The 'artist' there is the most confused person who ever lived, or a big ol' troll.
  18. I remember, back in the day, when this was an airsoft forum.
  19. I've done about 25 jumps. Categorically not sane/normal either. But then again there is absolutely no such thing as 'a perfectly serviceable aircraft' and anyone in that industry will back me up there.
  20. Fake Taxi t-shirt and sticker pack. Obviously did not immediately put a sticker in the window of my sergeant's office.
  21. lol, pretty much nobody has so I can 100% believe it. When you don't go in for uber-clickbait and flavour-of-the-month topics but do slightly longer videos that contain actual information instead of fast cuts and dubstep, it's hard to bring in followers/subs. No tits either so that's a disadvantage but I'm gonna keep eating cake and fix that in the next couple of years.
  22. I reviewed basically the same kit a little while back: Wouldn't personally use one just because of the ergonomics of the pistol grip, but no doubt it's.. different.
  23. Definitely a surprise, nice one though. Not many other GBB bullpups out there and even fewer I'd consider worth buying. If they do an X95 I'll snap it right up for sure, but in the mean time definitely look forward to hearing your thoughts on the gun.
