  1. Modified yourself or purchased? Also battery type info would be handy please. It's something I've been considering doing for a long time and I want to get the low-down on a few different builds before I commit given that all my TM EBBRs are SOCOMs.
  2. LiPo in the butt pad? Nice vortex too, good looking setup. I'd recommend mounting the light as far forward as you can to minimise lighting up your own silencer, same for the front BUIS and the sight radius thereof. If you don't have humongous hands maybe try not using the AFG and you'll be more easily able to rest your thumb on the pressure switch at all times (including when shooting from either shoulder), but obviously that's a personal ergonomic preference.
  3. I'm deployed atm so no online gaming, but I managed to bring my laptop and cludge-bodge together a table so I'm working through a ton of old stuff (6-10 years) that I got for pennies in steam sales over the years but never got around to back home. Most pleasant surprise by far has been Timeshift, super solid FPS gameplay, cool mechanics and enemies, nice little RPG elements for a linear FPS and a story that you feel should be cliche yet actually just seems to work really well. Also Fallout 3 quality presentation of lore and backstory in the world, really good.
  4. This advert is COMPLETED!

TT 'Rio Grande' that UK Tactical used to sell many moons ago. Civvie hiking type insulated softshell jacket, men's size Medium. Just the 2 (extremely tall) external pockets and some internal storage, very high collar, zip-off sleeves with thumb holes. Owned for some time but only worn day to day, no heavy usage, very small area of thread damage on one cuff, slight wear to main zip (aesthetic). Current TT production equivalent Nevada Mk3 retails for £210. Price is all in, open to offers, everything else I have to sell is viewable here (all quality 'real deal' stuff, all clearing out at cheap prices) - https://flic.kr/s/aHsjPXJkHw

    £20

  5. 🔥 sale on various bits of my old gear, need it gone:

£10 is the max price for anything other than the crye shirts/B5 stock, P&P included.  Just pm me if you're after anything, I need to make room for new purchases haha.

  6. Do the mag extensions add capacity or just plastic shells so you can drop em for quick reloads? That gun is top of my list of potential pistol purchases right now, but I get all my airsoft specific bits from WGC but last I looked they had magically vanished all listings of TM Glocks from their site. Presumably on account of their realistic-ish trades.
  7. lol, no concern for you big man you can do whatever the heck ya like to your own body. Just stating facts for the lurkers. Just like so many other fitness fads these things will have gone the way of the dodo in no too long.
  8. They're super fashionable right now (because of crossfit, whether airsofters know it or not) and people who've not served don't know the inevitability of the lower-body joints injuries they have coming their way.
  9. Is that a really old handguard per chance? Reminds me of some of the airsoft products you'd see back in the day when NiMh was the best battery type available and people liked to run the large types.
  10. No we only wanted to hear about what happened during the airsoft game.
  11. You can get copies of sorts specifically made for the TMs which will fit right on. 2 of mine have old PTS GBBR ASAP plates (back when PTS had the magpul license) and they needed some dremel work on the inside to fit around the buffer tube but it was pretty minor.
  12. I asked at SHOT show, apparently they can't get enough gas capacity in to the current faux clips. There is also literally only room for those 7 BBs right now so I guess that area of the design is going to be getting more attention.
  13. Hope you've got a cosplay instagram account for this kinda stuff, people over there fuckin love it. Some airsofters will too of course but the real demand is in cosplay and I'd reckon that's an overall globally bigger 'thing' than airsoft these days.
  14. Which is still happening all the time in here.
  15. 'The daddy' in terms of size or chronologically?
  16. .50 BMG rifles yes (for now anyway), but not the M82 that's a self-loader.
  17. What you've quoted is literally a completely different shirt to the linked ad, and I wear those 'navy' dark blue issue shirts every day in work. What the one in the ad on here is actually worth I've no clue, but those surplus dark blue shirts are fairly clearly not the same item when you look at the features. Do you know what the HurricanE kit is made of? I had a quick go at researching it and there's a thread in the Arnies news section from 2004 so all the pages I could find are long dead, no idea if it's steel or cast airsoft-cheapy-sort of aluminium alloy.
  18. Was there a shirt on ebay recently? Well no either way I bought it from my buddy Ivan aka Kit Badger heh.
  19. It's pretty, though I think totally impractical if not in a proper desert even just from the point it'll get covered in stains super easy. Also weirdly common compared to some stuff which is surprising. Late 90s USMC experimental trial pattern called Urban MOUT (sometimes T-Patt or T-Block) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Urban_Warrior
  20. Largely working on the AC/Gen 2 part of my little Crye collection, also jumped on the total liquidation of the Magpul clothing line; plus other bits n' pieces as per.
  21. Well that's retarded. As in they cut off when there's less than 9v supply going in? Pretty weird with the number of 7.4s out there, I'd have thought a decent mosfet would know what's plugged in to it.
  22. Left overs of the rampant unwarranted paranoia that was abound when LiPos started becoming the norm? I don't know for sure but it seems like dud advice to me. NiCd and NiMh are entirely capable of going wrong the same way LiPos can and we all have LiPos in our phones that we have in our pockets/hands all day and charge every day using extremely basic chargers (though the phone probably has some features built in in terms of charge cut off), not to mention tablets and wireless headphones and a million other modern gadgets. End of the day there is a definite difference between the really bargain-basement chinese junk stuff you get 'free' with some super cheap guns and what I linked to. I've been using that thing for maaany years with a dozen+ batteries and had no issues at all, quite the opposite it's been far less hassle than when I used NiMh. Granted that's one anecdotal example, but I know plenty of other people with the same charger who've also used it for a long time with no complaints at all. Doesn't mean it's not good to invest £40 or so in a better charger down the line but you can easily get in to the game with something affordable.
  23. Sorry chargers are not a valid reason, I've been using one of these since switching to lipos 7 or so years ago and it's worked perfectly: https://www.componentshop.co.uk/800ma-charger-for-2s-or-3s-7-4-11-1v-battery-packs-complete-with-mains-power-supply.html Might not have a digital display but it charges, balances at the same time, cannot over-charge etc etc - cheap, reliable, zero learning required just straight plug and play and fool proof.
